Another Chalean Extreme clip!

Thanks for posting!! I am so excited to get these! I simply cant wait .... Its a race - what will arrive first? Chalene or Cathe? I just cant wait! The clip is so good & I think it more accurately depicts the new Extreme Program than the first clips (just my guess of course)- :eek: I'm all set for 6 months once these arrive! HOORAY!!!!!:D
 
Any idea on what the price is on hers? What's the breakdown on that one? I am interested in that one also, but does anyone think it's comparable to STS?

I havent heard so much as a buzz about the price point...maybe one of the BB Coaches knows...I just know that I'll be able to justify the cost;) mainly because with 3 months programs I wont have to buy any more strength training DVDs unless I just simply "get the itch".. :rolleyes:

My guess is that Chalenes Extreme will be entirely different than STS just as STS is very different than P90X..... Thats one of the reasons I think those 3 programs will be all I use year round..They are all based on periodization training but attack it from different perspectives - I think thats fabulous from a strength training perspective.
 
Thanks for posting! I am soooo torn about this one. I buy other instructor's dvd's and always seem to come back to Cathe. It does look good though, doesn't it? I think the price will be the deciding factor for me. I will have to be able to afford to pay all at once. I have read on other fitness boards that if you do the installment thing it seems to mess up more, credit card numbers get stolen, returns are a problem, etc. I would like to see some more detailed clips. This seemed like sections of an infomercial spliced together. I would also have to get used to her personality. WOW is she happy:eek:!!

I'm betting they will be released before STS. This will be a good program to get us ready for STS!
 
I did some looking around & everything I found said it was to be released Sept 2008. Here we are in Sept so maybe soon!

There is a long thread on the Ya Ya board about Chalean Extreme. The release date was postponed because of editing issues. The tentative release date is mid October now:(
 
OOOOOOHHHHH! This looks really good to me too! It looks like this clip was taken from a forthcoming infomercial so they must be getting close. I had heard 10/10 as the release date--does anyone think it'll be past that?
 
Wishing I hadn't seen this thread. Wishing I hadn't gone to youtube. No, no, no, no, no, no,no...:rolleyes: Seriously, knowing the price would be nice. I still have DVDs I haven't done b/c I have faves I keep going back to. P90x has tempted me too, but I haven't gone there.
 
I'm definitely getting this. It looks fantastic!! I just hope it's not released the same time as STS!!
 
I think she is using Power Blocks, am I right? I want these......!!! out with all those miscellaneous dumbbells.....

But 300 bucks for a set up to 50 lbs!! i gotta think about that;)

I think Chalene is using Bow Flex Select Tech dumbbells not Power Blocks.
Same concept, but I think the Bow Flex allows for smaller increments when upping the weight (could very well be wrong though!). I like the size of the Power Blocks as the Bow Flex look too bulky for me. I know some folks have the Bow Flex and LOVE them though so, everyone's different. I agree about the price, but I'm pretty sure that Power Blocks are less expensive. I think I need one of the those standing dumbbell racks like Cathe had in 4DS.
 
I am going to wait on this one and see what kind of reviews it gets. The 3 month programs are hard for me to complete. I have and love P90X but have only managed to complete a full rotation with it ONCE. I've had P90X+ since it's release which I also love but haven't done a complete rotation with it yet. I am dyin' to get STS but wonder how long until I have the focus to get through an entire 3 month rotation with that too! That being said, I really don't need another program like that right now unless it's gets such AWESOME reviews that I just HAVE to have it! LOL
