Hello! I subscribe to Cathe OnDemand and have enjoyed using it a great deal. I have used the database of recorded Cathe Live workouts extensively and, up until now, have never experienced a problem. In the past, I have always been able to view all of the recorded Cathe Live workouts in...
Hi Stacy,
You are not alone by a long shot. I am 43 and am quite small so most people would think that I don't have to worry about things like cellulite, etc. I just had my body fat checked by the Cleveland Clinic and it is only 15.3% yet I, too, have cellulite and "loose skin" on my thighs. I...
I just did SuperCuts this morning because I was needing a tough workout without the impact. This one fits the bill PERFECTLY! If you push yourself and heavy up on the weights a little bit, you can even consider it Metabolic with a bit of Hiit without the impact. Definitely one of my faves!
I have Tabata Boot Camp with Toys sitting unwrapped on my shelf. Sounds like I need to bust that open and give it a shot. I LOVE Tabata workouts and would love to teach a class in that style. Once I get my basic certification, I will definitely start seeking out additional classes. I LOVE...
LMAO! This chain, and especially the pic, totally made my day! You ladies are the best, seriously! You've got me debating as to whether or not I could hold my daughter on my back....she's 21 and weighs about 20 pounds more than me...hmmmm. Sounds like a trip to the hospital in the making.... ;)
I'm also (clearly) not Cathe but I wanted to chime in and say that I had a similar experience to Regina. I wore a Fitbit Surge on a trial basis for 2 full weeks. For every workout I did be it Hiit, Weights, Metabolic, or a plain old walk, I also wore my Polar FT4 with chest strap HRM. I was...
Well, bummer. :( I kind of feel like you've been a bit of a trainer for me on these forums, though. I have learned a lot from you already so thank you!!!
That gives me a great idea, thank you!!! I am going to check with the couple of gyms where I have contacts and see if they might be willing to pay for my certification in exchange for something from me such as my teaching a certain number of classes or something. That sounds like a win-win...
Thank you so much, Brenda! I, too, get nervous about tests, especially when they're timed. I am kind of a nerd and LOVE reading and learning new things so I'm hoping that that will help me a bit. ;) I am really excited about getting started. Fitness has become a HUGE passion of mine and I would...
Hi everyone! I am, as a result of being inspired by Cathe and other folks that I know and respect, seriously thinking about working to obtain a fitness certification. Specifically, I would love to be able to help individuals on a one-to-one basis as well as to teach fitness classes. For anyone...
It's like I always hear fitness gurus say....."Long, lean muscle".....Karen's got that in spades! While I, on the other hand, lean more towards "short, stocky muscle". Those extra few inches on my legs might be worth the pain?
Awesome! It does sound good. My only concern is that, because I am only a 7-month seasoned lifter, I would need help with form. Using DVDs is a huge help for me because I can see form modeled properly throughout the workout. Timing is also a factor such as how quickly to do reps and how long of...
Awesome! It sounds like it did good things for you and I hope it will for me, too. Let's start with a 1 month rotation. I'm going to experiment and see how I feel after 30 days then go from there. I will be using Cathe OnDemand so, unfortunately, I won't have access to premixes for most things...
