Meso 1, 2 or 3; which is your favorite?

I really like the more endurance-type workouts, so I'm leaning towards Meso 1. What concerns me most is the one-rep max calculations and the all the different weighted dumbbells. While I have a good variety of dumbbells, I don't have anything heavier than 15 lbs. Will I need heavier weights than...

Butts & Gutts or GS leg?

Another vote for B&G. To me, it seems more like a muscle endurance-type workout. However, the floor work in GS legs is a killer!

Meso 1, 2 or 3; which is your favorite?

I can only afford to purchase one of the STS workouts. For those who've done them, which is your favorite? Why? I love the Gym Style series and am looking for a nice compliment to them. Thanks!

FitnessFreak: Build Upper Body, Slim Lower Body Rotation

First, thank you so much for your advice! I appreciate the rotation and am excited to do something different. I do have a couple of questions for you. What is the difference between a total body and a circuit workout? Will the two deliver the same results, ie: leaner, more toned body? I...

FitnessFreak: Build Upper Body, Slim Lower Body Rotation

I forgot to ask that with the running, that should help reduce my lower body, but I won't be building any muscle, correct? Do you think that this is too much cardio? Also, if you already started the rotation, I would be grateful to see it, but please don't feel like you have to create one if...

FitnessFreak: Build Upper Body, Slim Lower Body Rotation

My dh and I were talking about my progress last night and we came to some conclusions. Since I'm getting good results with the workouts I'm already doing, I decided to stick with my current rotation. However, I will be adding 1 or 2 more days of resistance training as well as increasing my...

    oatmeal?

I have a favorite! I got this recipe from the Southbeach Diet and I eat them almost every morning! 4 egg whites 1/2 c. oatmeal (uncooked; I use old-fashioned oats) 1/4 c. fat free cottage cheese (the recipe calls for low-fat or tofu) 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg...

Yes, seriously, Flintstones Complete (but it has to be the complete and not gummies or any other variety). We all take just one a day.

Article that got the scale moving

#1 was my surprise. I was really bummed when 30 minutes of exercise 4 days a week wouldn't be enough...especially on those brownie days!

Article that got the scale moving

#9 says it all, doesn't it? You have to learn the skills to eat for life, not just a few months. You have to find an activity(ies) that you really enjoy so that you can stay consistent and exercise doesn't feel like such a chore.

Article that got the scale moving

I just wanted to share an article I read several months ago that really helped me lose weight. It opened up my eyes and made me realize just how hard it is to get that scale to move. Once I knew that it wasn't just me or my body but it takes genuine hard work, those hour long workouts didn't...

    STS stalling weight loss?

I did the "series with no name" mostly (LIC, DM, BM2), but included High Step Challenge, BC/ME and running/walking into the rotation.
