    July 2005 Goals Check-In

    Yay! Turns out I lost a pound this month. I'm so relieved. I blame Low Max. :P I did it twice this week. Even though I missed my goal, I'm glad I ended this month on a positive note. I'm just going to take it one pound at a time. That seems to work best for me.

    16"x44" or 14"x40" step?

    Hello ladies. I noticed that Cathe's site says they use a 16"x44" step in the videos, but looking online all I've seen so far are 14"x40" steps. Do any of you use a 16"x44" step? Is a 14"x40" step big enough for everything Cathe has us doing on top of it? :)

    July 2005 Goals Check-In

    A daily check-in sounds good. I didn't do well this month, either. I got majorly stressed out for at least two weeks there, and instead of losing 5 lbs, I think I gained a pound or two. :( Maybe checking in daily will help to keep me focused and to allieviate any stress that comes up.

    Hi Charlotte. Are you going for hypertrophy? If so, you might need to rest your muscles more to allow them to grow. Then again, if you can see that you are getting bigger, then you are getting closer to your goal, right? :) Sometimes the scale isn't our friend. ;)

    Can anyone recommend a good, basic yoga video?

    I really like Yoga Zone videos. They're an hour long, but you could just do 15-30 min. and feel great. There's a Conditioning and Stress Release tape and a Flexibility and Tone tape. There are also more advanced workouts.
