A few of my email notifications for this forum indicate that a topic was removed. I obviously participated in such topic because I got a notification. I was just curious to know if anyone knows which topic it was. The reason I ask is that I'd like to know which kinds of topics to avoid participating in for the future. The last thing I would ever want to do is offend the forum administrator. I know we need to keep this site "clean", but sometimes it's hard to know exactly what that entails.

If anyone knows, you can send me a PM if you prefer. Thanks.

It was only the VF thread, as Shelley said. I did not personally see the thread, but I understand that the content disintegrated into a very unpleasant exchange between a few Forum members and that one member became extremely upset.

From my vantage point I don't see that anything has changed about how you, or any of us, ought to conduct ourselves here. We're in a public place, we're guests in this place, and we owe each other and Cathe and her company (I believe) simple common courtesy and decency. You've always been lovely -- I don't see that you have a thing to fret about. :)

I think I read some of that one! I didn't post in it though. I missed the fighting though. I always miss the good juicy stuff!:(
 
I was just kidding, it wasn't really that bad. A couple of people where VERY upset, but I don't think there was any scrapping. I don't think that anything nasty was being said that I can remember. Just some of us defended Cathe. I guess we should have defended her on that site rather than do it here, though. Kinda sounded like gossip I guess.
 
Missy, you obviously didn't see it right before it got deleted. It got kind of ugly. I'm sorry if I contributed to that. I thought I was being restrained, but sometimes my PMS gets the better of me:-(
 
the thing is

That there are people here that are allowed to continue to belittle others yet others that post one thing saying that Cathe is not a goddess & the be all & end all of the fitness industry & that member is no longer allowed to post here.

If you don't worship Cathe, you get banned.
 
Well, I'm not sorry about saying exactly what has been on my mind for so long. I was actually being generous in that post.

What I'm sorry about is how the thread got ugly, with the swearing and screaming in that one long post. But then again, I wasn't the one behaving that way.

Nancy, I noticed that the Brenda thread is gone. I think I saw you post there. And I think I posted after you did. That was a pretty good thread, at least it was, when I logged off yesterday afternoon.

Sometimes I think I should be on all the time. I always miss things when I'm off-line.:)

May I ask what happened in the Brenda thread? I think I read a post or two in that thread, but I thought it was just a thread in praise of Brenda. (?)

I don't know anything about the Brenda thread, but I just have to say for the record, that I saw the VF thread. Shelley, I don't think you contributed to the ugliness, and I think your response to it showed pure class. There was only one (that I saw) that got ugly and I was glad to see it gone.:)

Yup, Pinky, I'm pretty sure it was the Brenda thread. I certainly hope nothing negative was said. Everything I saw was complimentary. Somehow, I feel guilty, although I'm not sure what I did. But that's typical of me. :(
 
When I read the Brenda thread with just a few replies it was pleasant. Now I completely missed the VF thread, thankfully.
