    What WAS I thinking?

Oh, yeah, what am I thinking when I pick up the cheese puffs or cool ranch Doritos or the peanutbutter M&M's or any of that JUNK that calls to me at the store??? What am I thinking when I start up a one-hour workout that will require a shower and I just don't have time for...why don't I reach...

    Sharing My Heart and Pictures

"My dream is that we as women can love and support each other for who we are and not the way we look. There is enough of that attitude in the world. Let's rise above it!" Heather, love that paragraph:) And love seeing you (and Jeanne). Thanks for finally sharing your lovely smile with us!

how do you workout in pants???

Good question...esp. if you're not familiar with the new wicking materials...like me:) I wear shorts. But in winter, if I'm feeling chilly, I may don pedal pushers.

    June 07 Rotation

Looks great, Cathe! I've already put this in my weekly planner (made some changes to accomodate my schedule...I'll be taking Thursdays off instead of Sundays/Saturdays). Thanks!

    CTX etc

Liz, you'll love CTX...well, maybe not while you're doing the weights segments. The cardio segments are all great, a lot of fun, lots of variety. I love the music in this series (there's a number during one of the abs routine that is so pretty). And Leaner Legs deserves its other name: Meaner...

    Cathe... Push/Pull Supersets advice needed...

I don't know where to fit these into a Cathe rotation, unless it's a Body Blast rotation...I'm sure Cathe has these in other rotations, but that would be quite a hunting trip! I've used Supersets and Push Pull in LGI8; also Push Pull is a great shorter full body workout. I agree with Jordan...

Do you consider yourself high maintenance?

I was about to say, YES, definitely getting high maintenance...then I read a couple replies and realized I'd have to define "high maintenance". I don't wear make-up (hard to put on when you can't see without glasses) and forever forget perfumes. With a good cut, my naturally curly hair really...

    Peanut butter

RE: Please no more emails about peanut butter! Uh, no emails on peanutbutter...but I just had to chime in:) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE me some peanutbutter...and have been in mourning over the latest debacle over Peter Pan:( My favs are Skippy or Peter Pan, chunky or smooth. The low-fat varieties just...

I am soooo mad this morning

Carrie, I don't think a divorce is at all a good idea...AT THIS TIME...but I would be really thinking about getting away if he's prone to violence. Destroying ANYTHING of yours (or anyone else's for that matter) is really extreme. That he's that threatened by your return to slim and healthy and...

DVD Player That Can Handle Cathe's Premixes

My dvd player that seems to play everything was a freebie from the satellite company for installing a dish. It's an Apex...so I guess another cheapie:)

    The Comeback Kid Update 4/21/06

Wonderful news, Cathe!!! How relieved and ecstatic you must be! It's been a long, difficult winter for you, more than for anyone (except maybe your three favorite guys:)). Thank God the doctors finally found out what was wrong with that knee and were able to repair it...no wonder you're walking...

    Update - 4-13-06

Cathe, glad the surgery went so well and you're doing well the day after:) Please, be gentle and kind to yourself and patient (know that's the hard part:)) and allow yourself to mend completely. Happy Easter to you and your family.

workout, but feel you've wasted your time?

Strength workouts are never wasted as I know I can always heavy up on the weights or put more into my form. Sometimes emphasizing the form can make a huge difference. I have finished some weights sessions and thought, well I had a nice workout, but nothing terribly challenging. And the next day...

Did any of you USED to hate step?

Hi, August, Welcome to Cathe's world:) I hated step at first. I have an old small step from the 80's I think, a Bodyshaping one with a vhs tape. At first I was tripping all over it and fell a few times. Any complexity frustrated me terribly. But I guess I'm stubborn. And I was too heavy for...

My REVIEW of "Finding your core"

RE: My REVIEW of Christi, you just nailed it on the head...the beauty and need for workouts like the TLT's! Great explanation of how they work, what to expect from them and why they are so helpful for so many of us.

    Psalm Of Cathe

    >I agree. Why does it seem ok to disrespect Christian's holy >book (i.e. the Bible), but we'd never let people get away with >doing the same thing to other faith's holy texts. That really >annoys me. Heather I agree with you, Heather. This is just wrong.

    Update 12/30/05

Cathe, two things: first you're right about focusing on your sons now while they're young and you still have them with you. Second, give that calf muscle time to heal before you start filming. But you already know all that:) Thanks for touching base (but I think most of us knew already what...

    VF ?

Amongst all the criticisms of Cathe being over the top or too hard, surely you caught more than an occassional praise for her...then again maybe not. I like Cathe's workouts, but I don't get involved in the threads where the complaints run to "where are the updates" or cs issues, mostly because...

    obsessed with Cathe

    >Hey wait just a minute......I AM addicted to soap operas! > >Crap Lydia, you just made me confess my most shameful >secret......I hope you're happy! :o Oh-oh :o Gosh, Laura, I'm sorry...hehehehe...that's okay...I'm addicted to old (1930's to 1950's) movies...hehehehe
