Nancy, my DH feels the same as yours. He knows how lonely I have been since moving here and is thrilled that I have a place to "meet" other women who are into fitness. He totally supports my exercise (except when he thinks I'm overdoing it) and has even started doing my tae-bo tapes :)

The cutest thing is that almost every day he asks me, "so, what's up with Cathe's fit women today?"

Oh-oh  Gosh, Laura, I'm sorry...hehehehe...that's okay...I'm addicted to old (1930's to 1950's) movies...hehehehe

Sparrow, that is great!
Maybe we should start a new post to find out how DH's and SOs regard these forums.

If you already started that thread, I'll have to double post this.

My DH thinks it's really cute how much I enjoy the forum and Cathe. That's the highest kind of compliment he gives me- cute. ;) When I'm here and reading something and LOL, he asks me what I'm laughing about and I have to take 8 minutes to explain it to him. ;) But I appreciate that he knows how much you all give to me.

Sometimes I'll email threads to my mom if they relate to something we've just been talking about, and she's always impressed with the load of information and support you all give me.

I mentioned you all at Christmas, and my sister asked me what the forum does and what I get from it... and that was a looong conversation!! But I wanted to cut it short since my BIL and grandpa had zoned out, LOL. I ended emailing one of the threads to her after that, and she was really impressed. I don't think you really understand how you can form a bond without seeing someone, if you haven't experienced it firsthand.

My friend at school sits behind me and can see every time I'm on here. She's always laughing at me. But you know, she gave me a Cathe tee shirt for Christmas, so she may be laughing, but she's pretty supportive too.

Which is all to say, I think people mean different things when they say "obsessed". I know several in my life who say it to mean "I appreciate your dedication to something you love, and I'm amazed that you can care that much about your physical self to work so hard". In that case, go ahead and say I'm obsessed!!! :D
