Another tip is to try the shorter premixes. Doing only the first half or only the second half a few times. It makes it less daunting, IMO, when done this way. I used to do that when I first started Cathe. One day, you will be amazed at yourself and wonder what was so complicated?
I love, love, love L&G!! I think it is one of my favorite Cathe LB workouts. Not only is the workout killer, but Cathe (and crew) seems to have a ton of fun doing it. I find myself doing the countdown at the end. Tough but effective. :D
You have gotten some good advice about S&H so far. I will add that it is definitely something that takes hmmm....concentration? It is very easy to lose focus when doing these workouts because of the slowness of the reps and stuff. It's great for a plateau buster.
Tax free weekend here so I am taking the kids out tonight (hopefully to get a jump start on the weekend crowds) to get some new stuff for school. Tomorrow hair done, then probably Sunday, clean, blah, clean, blah... ;)
Cathe, I would love a yoga from you too. IIRC, you are certified and the stretch class during the July RT was WONDERFUL. I would love some yoga from you. :)
I totally love the cardio in DM and 4DS so another vote from me for these types of workouts. It gives a nice change from just step, kickbox, or hi/lo for cardio, KWIM? Effective and tough!
I say get it. It is a great DVD for times when you can't devote a full hour to working out. It gives a little bit of everything cardio-wise and covers all body parts. I love the BB series in general so I think it makes a great addition. Plus, there is some weight stuff that is not found on...
As someone else mentioned, it's hard to find the time to make meals all the time. I do occasionally have Smart Ones or Lean Cuisines for lunch. Rarely for dinner (kids, DH - so meals homemade usually). But if I'm rushed, they work for me.
I love the 4DS Cardio Power - tough, solid workout when looking for a good cardio. If you are short on time but also want a solid cardio Drill Max cardio blast really gets the job done.
Those are just off the top of my head. I used to stick with just the workout as is but as my time...
I love BM2. It isn't too complicated and really a fun workout. Of course, it also has millions of premixes so there are tons of options if you are pressed for time, just want cardio, cardio/UB, cardio/LB, etc. Worth every penny, IMO.
