    "hell of a half marathon

Google Hal Higdon's training plans (they are free). He has several to choose from, and the intermediate and advanced plans have hill training and sprint schedules.

    Pillow Advice Please!

Mine was a bit pricey because it is a Tempurpedic, but I've felt other memory foam pads, and I don't know that there's much difference. QVC is probably cheaper and just as good a place to find one.

    Someone please tell me...,

I love that one! It's a list-topper for sure. I think Cathe's circuits are my favorites by far.

    Pillow Advice Please!

If I remember right, it was about $300 for my king size. I bought the extra deep sheets that fit up to 27 inches since my mattress was already kind of high. I purchased from a mattress store, but google it or look on Amazon. They sell them other places.

    Favorite barre workouts

I really like The Bar Method as well as Cathe's Turbo Barre. They are both tough in very different ways. Bar Method has really helped strengthen my legs, upper body and core in a way traditional weight training never has. I love it. If you do it right, it's killer. You won't sweat, but you...

    OHHH firewalker Tabata's!

I love this feeling! It almost feels like a little bit of a rest since I don't have to pull my legs back in on my own. That band just snaps them back together!

    Pillow Advice Please!

I have a regular mattress with a six inch Tempurpedic topper. I don't know if there's magic in that combination, but I sleep very well. My in-laws have a full Tempurpedic mattress, and it is very comfy. I wish I had the $$$ to get one myself.

    Pillow Advice Please!

I bought mine online, but they also sell them where they sell the Tempurpedic mattresses. The pillows conform to your head and neck, and are so comfy! No fighting with your pillow anymore.

    Pillow Advice Please!

I bought a Temperpedic pillow a couple years ago, and it is the best thing I ever did! I bought The Cloud model. They have several different styles for your sleeping habits. My husband has one as well, and we will never go back to regular pillows again. They are about $120 apiece, but worth...

Folic acid pregnancy prevents from Neural Tube Defects

Judging from this and other of your posts, you are clearly not a medical professional, nor are you at all knowledgable about the causes and probable complications of neural tube defects or pregnancy in general. I say this with all kindness, you need to stop posting in this forum as some sort of...

    Cathe! Please, please help!

Hey there! Cathe just posted this the other day in response to another similar question. It's in this forum down below... Here's what Cathe said: "Hi Che0013! We all have a unique set of genes that our parents gave us that strongly influences how our body responds to diet and exercise...

    Firewalker bands

Mine haven't ripped, but they have stretched out a lot. I realize they are just trying to accomodate those with a latex allergy, but I think latex is more durable. I have ended up purchasing the six foot latex Dynabands from Amazon and tying them around my ankles and then cutting to size...

Difference betw. ladies' & "unisex" HRM?

Yes, the goal is all that matters! I don't look at the calorie count much; I use the monitor just for my heart rate. I find that sometimes I feel like I'm working too hard, but my heart rate says otherwise, so I can push a bit more. When the weather is so hot I use it to make sure I don't...

Difference betw. ladies' & "unisex" HRM?

It's just the style. In the settings you have to specify male or female. I have a couple of Polar HRMs myself.

    Pure White Noise (my recommendation)

We have a king sized bed, and it makes no difference! Maybe you could do two double beds in the same room, if he likes your company so much. :)

    tricep flab

I love dips off the step, triceps pushups over the stability ball, and side lying triceps pushups. I also really like using the band for "kickbacks" and the move where you hold the band in one hand (say, the right), cross the right hand over to the opposite shoulder and hold the band there...
