Do you watch your videos before you do them for the first time?

Yes, always. Especially my Cathes. Heck, I like to sit and watch the clips on the website, just for grins. LOL

Trying B&G tonight for the first time.........

I was scared to try B & G until one of Cathe's rotations called for it. It's an awesome and surprisingly doable workout, even the leg blast premix! Cathe sequences the exercises perfectly so you avoid total burnout (until the next day when you can barely walk LOL).

Catheites w/ kids home for summer

This is my biggest frustration. I pretty much stopped working out after school let out on June 15 because I can't go to the basement or my room for more than 10-15 minutes without having to break up a fight, feed someone, wipe a bum, clean up a mess, etc. I'm resigned to resuming my workouts...

at what age did you get married or have kids

I was 19 when I first married, and had my oldest DD about 6 months later. We only lasted 6 years, then we divorced. I remarried at age 27, then had my second DD at 29, DS at 32. About the sacrifice thing - I dunno. There are tradeoffs in every life decision we make, whether it's to start...

    Strained calf muscle/plantar fascitis

Unfortunately, I can't wear flip flops. :( But I did indeed see the many styles of Crocs at Dick's when I was buying a pair for my younger DD. It was kind of dizzying, really.

    Strained calf muscle/plantar fascitis

ITA about not going barefoot. As ugly as they are, my poor PF afflicted foot just LOVES Crocs!

Cathe - slight differences in your pictures

I noticed your lovely eyebrows right off the bat. I have similar coloring to yours (green eyes, dark eyebrows) and just love your makeup this time around. Not that you've ever looked bad! :-) Thanks for taking the time to respond to such a personal question!

    Strained calf muscle/plantar fascitis

I'm no doctor, but heel pain could be a strained Achilles tendon, which can feel like PF. Or you may have had a PF setback. If it does not improve, you may have to make another trip to the doc. I'm really sorry. :(

    Cueing in Low Max?

I seem to recall that this workout was designed with minimal breakdown of the moves. Constant TIFTing can get monotonous with time. I could be wrong, but that's my impression.

    Cathe's smile

Hee! I knew before scrolling down that Cathe would chime in. :-)

    B&G Leg Blast premix

RE: Can't find this video. What is the title? I didn't have nearly as many titles 4 years ago as I do now! :7 Mostly I used Cardio Hits, and the Intensity Series (DH got them for me on VHS one Christmas). I also walked a lot, biked, etc. for some extra cardio. I did the Firm, too, but it...

    B&G Leg Blast premix

RE: Can't find this video. What is the title? I've lost 23 lbs. (give or take one or two) since January 2 of this year. I'm in a holding pattern this summer - my schedule has gone a little haywire and it's been hard to squeeze in a regular workout routine. My youngest is 4 and when he was 6...

    daughter showing signs of anorexia

I agree with the post above. And as for resenting your interference, as a previous poster mentioned, I can only say "oh, well." You (OP) are the parent and you have to do what's best for your kid whether they like it or not. Hang in there!

You will love the results! This workout makes me sweat like no other. Seriously.

My last dance with the FIRM

You will not regret switching to Cathe. Her workouts are advanced, but keep in mind you can always stop and rest for a minute or modify if you can't quite keep up. My first Cathe workout was Step Fit, back in 2000. I liked the music and loved Cathe's down to earth and genuine personality...

    Cheating men......

I haven't read any of the other responses, but if anyone said to say goodbye to the schmuck, I wholeheartedly agree! I'm so sorry!

The frustration of being overweight and unfit

My gosh. You are so young, of COURSE there's hope! Well, there's hope at any age, but at 20 the world is your oyster. I went to a really interesting seminar last night and one of the things I learned is to visualize myself in 20 years, if I keep going on the same path. What will I look...

    Question for SAHMs

I've been a SAHM for 7 years and have no regrets. Yep, it's monotonous and lonely at times, but that's true at work as well as at home. Staying at home is pretty much what you make it. I volunteer for my DD's marching band quite a bit, and my younger two kids have friends in the...
