    Why is it every time

If you don't ask, you won't get it. Cathe wants to produce things that sell, she CARES what others have to say. Not to sound snarky, but what does it matter to you if others discuss options/wants/dislikes? Sounds controlling to me. Becky

Wisdom Teeth Percocet or Vicodin ?

Just so you are aware, you can take ibuprofen with percocet and/or vicodin. Sometimes, adding some ibuprofen w/the narcotic helps get the pain under control. However, you should avoid Tylenol as it is already in the narcotics he is taking, you don't want any liver damage. Good luck! Becky

    Latisse--not a good thing

Thanks for posting. From someone who definately needs lash help, I was so excited to see the commercial. And then the part where all of the side effects came, and I heard, "which may be permanent" (the pigmentation). I let out a deep sigh, I was bummed. In the time you have used it though...

Saying good bye to my dog...

Sending big hugs your way. This same thing happened to us this past February. We lost our 12yr old Golden Retreiver in the same way. Remmy was his name, and he would run/walk with me all of his life. Very fit and active. He started having what I thought was arthritis...slow to get up and...

    Athleta sizing

Yes, size deviations definately occur. I can order the same size 4 jeans from Gap, and one may fit, but the other is too tight. Same style, same brand, etc. I even asked a Gap clerk about it, and she said, "oh yeah, you HAVE to try everything on, because they each can be so different, even if...

    need advice re: ACL injury

Hi There! I tore my ACL back in 1990, when I was just 18yrs old. I had mine repaired 4 months after my injury. I wanted to wait to see how much stability I could re-gain. It didn't work so well because I was very active in softball and volleyball, and everytime I would move laterally, my...

    Yoga for those who run

Anyone have a good DVD recommendation for those people that like to run? I just finished my first 10K and I had some really bad hip flexor pain and knee pain. I have well fitting shoes (went to specialty store), so I'm thinking it's my gait, and very bad core strength, or lackthereof :-)...

    Wrist pain w/Yoga Based Abs

Hi Cathe...I am soooo thrilled with the new abs circuit CD. I have some low back issues, that make some of your past ab workouts painful for me. I love the Yoga based abs, but I am finding that I can't finish some of the planks due to some really sore wrists. Do you (or anyone) have...

    Weight Loss Accountability

Thank you for your help! I took the advice of others, and purhased the BFFM book. I haven't gotten very far, but it has already helped motivate me. I think for me, it's a lot of negative self-talk that gets in my way. I also ran 4.5miles in 36 degree sunny weather, which for us...

    Calling all CC users!

My absolute favorite track, is track 4. For some reason for me, it is so motivating. I started with 2, and it just didn't do much for me...I live in the cold Midwest, so it really takes a lot to get my groove on, when running on the treadmill :-) Becky

    Weight Loss Accountability

Thanks for the reply! I did get STS, and it is scheduled to arrive at my house on Monday YEAH! Sadly, I don't have any family around me right at the moment. I will snoop around here to see if I can find a weight loss check in too. Thanks, Becky

    Weight Loss Accountability

OK...I am training for a half marathon in May. I would like to lose about 10# by then. I am 5 feet tall and 117#. I was in the 105-109 range last summer eating clean, and running about 15-20 miles per week. I live in the midwest, and running on the treadmill just doesn't give me the same...

Are you SURE STS is for various fitness levels?

I was a bit discouraged today as I started doing my 1RM testing. I started entering my results and according to the average person, I am a WEAKLING...seriously. Should I not even attempt the STS stuff and just focus on the Gym Style series I have? Ugh!! Becky

    Instant reaction to bad food

Instant headache and fatigue for me. I'm not sure exactly what the culprit is...but I pay for eating the stuff for even a couple of days afterwards. It's like I get "heavy" and my runs aren't as good (distance) or my lifting isn't as heavy. Becky

    Recovering from abdominoplasty

Obviously not Cathe here, but I wanted to give you some information. I am 14 months post abdominoplasty. I just wanted you to know that once I got the "all clear" from my PS, it was a very slow process to get back to where I was pre surgery. I biked and walked for a good 3 months after I got...

    I caved and pre-ordered!

    Eating clean?

You can do a search on this site, and you will get a lot of information on clean eating. Basically, it is eating whole foods in there most natural state. Nothing processed, no chemicals. Becky

    cathe to firm

They are a step back in terms of intensity. I can't speak for the old firm tapes/workouts, but the new ones just don't compare. BUT...I have been known to drag one out when I'm just not feeling up to the intensity of an hour plus workout. So I guess I'm saying that I wouldn't invest my $ in...

How would you start w/BodyMax 2?

Thanks for the help you guys! I did use the workout yesterday and did the cardio timesaver premix (OMG!) and then the upper body x 2 premix. I loved it, although TOUGH is a word that I would use for that one! Thanks a bunch! Becky
