Good Morning Chickie-Poos!:)

How is everyone? Im gonna read through yestedays thread to see what I missed. I didn't workout yesterday. I took a deserving rest day but today will be cardio and all the GS UB.:) Thats my punishment for resting! LOL

Well...not so much going on here today. DH is gone fishing for the whole day and Im home with the kiddies. It looks like its gonna rain so I may not get outside for a run. If it clears up a little I may go. Im going to wait and do UB's when he is gone for a nap and then cardio.

I had alot of compliments on my dress sat night. I also posted some pics on the Facebook website and alot of people have commented there as well. I think the dress was hotter then I even thought:) I have another wedding in Aug so I may buy something else, we will see. I have a b-day comming up this week so any money I get may go in clothes:)

Robin, whats your workout plans for today?

Amelia, did you find a dress after? I hate walmart to but its just one of those stores you have to go to! I usually go in the evenings when it isn't so crowded.

KIm, how was your rest day? Did you get anap like moi? haha Thats what I call a rest day! we think our baby is pretty cute to!

Cheryl, good job on the workout yesterday! And thanks for the compliments:) Man...my bites are still there and just as itchy.I think its to late to put anything on them but they aren't going anywhere unless I stop scratching them.

Nancy, glad to hear you had a nice trip. Will I ever get to California, I wonder? Prehaps someday. Sorry to hear about the pup! We have 2 dogs (one who got out last week when you were away) but he was returned safe and sound. DH was outside today with them getting ready for his fishing trip and when he looked Charlie was starting on a little adventure again! I heard him yelling out to him. So from now on, he as to be in his kennel. He isn't trust worthy...even when we are out there!

Kali, so today is the day you finally get back into the swing of things? Thats probably the hardest part. Are you following WW's? Did you follow ww's the last time you lost weight?

Alright, it took me forever to write this! I had to change a pamper, feed him cereal and have in my arms while typing with one hand and reading yesterdays post! He wiggled so much I put him on the floor and he is happy, its probably where is wanted to be anyway!
Im still bf'ing but we will see how this week goes. I know, I know...sh*t or get off the pot, right? hahaha

Hey Everyone

Today I plan to w/o with cardio coach/ power walking for an hour. I’ll let you know how it goes. My kids made me a birthday cake last night, I just pretended to eat it. It looked funny and lopsided. I think they really made it for themselves. One of my gifts was a three CD set of Disco Hits. LOL

Lori- good w/o yesterday. How heavy are your weights with GS UB. I was planning to buy these. The Guy with the yellow hat…..TOO FUNNY…

Kim- wow you got a great discount on that ball. Maybe I need to look around garage sales for DBs. My rest days are usually Tues or Wed.

Nancy- I glad that you enjoyed California. I’m sorry about your doggie. I hope that he is not in too much pain. They are just like our children.

OK Kali- D-Day??

Amelia- I love Wally World, the best time to go around here is Friday nights and early Saturday morning.

Kim- I’m going to try the cocoanut water and see how it taste. I tried aloe vera water and didn’t really like it. I may just save my money and drink ice water with a splash of lemon.
 
I just finished my w/o and I'm tired and hungry.
Cardio Coach Volume 6 is a killer workout. Very challenging with MANY intervals. I usually do a steady pace powerwalk, which is a easy w/o for me. I guess I'll have to power up when listening to Cardio Coach and the music helped me keep the correct pace.

On tabs for today is one of my favorites...LIC.Although im not sure if I need to do it,I woke up with another stiff lower body and it hurtsx( . When I was around 18/19 I had a lumbar sprain and its starting to feel like that agian! I may have to go to a chiropractor if my back doesn't improve! Im keeping a heating pad on it! I also took some Ibuphrophen,its not gonna stop me from my workout todayx( .

I had a great workout today - Push/Pull UB 2x premix plus all of Rhythmic Step. Just right, and I'm feeling gooood. Here's to a Marvelous Monday for everyone!

Hmmm...did I write my update wrong? LOL Robin, there was no workout yesterday...hahaha And Cheryl...I am home alone with 2 kids today:) :) hahaha You guys don't really read do you? You just skim through! LOL

I did my workout and I also got a 40 mins run in. It was a good workout but it took forever to finish b/c DS woke only 20 mins in. I had to stop during back to bring him downstairs, then I had to stop during shoulders to feed him the rest of his cereal and then he just yelled the whole way through biceps. I gave him a bottle and then he was fine during the run.

Robin, I usually match Cathe during the weights. For chest I use 20's and 15's. Tri's 10's,35 lbs barbell,20 lbs db. Back, 20 lbs db's,8 lbs, Shoul 15's,10's , Bic 35 lbs bb, 15 lbs & 12 lbs.They are really good and you should consider getting them.

Amelia, have fin with LIC. Hope you fee better soon.

I do not know what I will do today. I am finished with the August 04 rotation. I may do Tone It Up! since I have not previewed it. Yeah, that's a good idea!;) Tone It Up! it will be. I still feel soarness from Shape it Up! on Saturday.

Lori- First, I want so say that I saw your post about your concerns about DD. I do not have any words of advice. I will pray for her and for guidance for you!

Amelia- Are you stretching? You may want to stretch your back. When CIA was having its give away of vhs tapes I got Yoga Wisdom for Thight Hips and Thighs. You may want to check the webstie to see if the sale is still on. Youjust have to pay $2.99 (??) shipping. CIA is Creative Instructor Aerobics.

Hey ladies,

I decided to not do LIC,my back is getting worse.I called a chiropractor(the one my DH has gone to in the past)and shes booked until next monday....I may just go to the E.R.

I was cooking my kids some breakfast and the pain went from a 1 to a 8 in about one second! Its almost like a muscle spasm,I just hope its nothing seriousx( .I'll let you guys know!

Gidge, glad to hear you got your workout in even tho it was a challenge w DS! LOL! No I've never done WW's. Trying to get back to what I was doing originally is the hardest thing I think I've tried to do. But I am adamant (sp) and WILL DO IT! I'll have to check out that hot dress of yours.

Well today is not turning out like I planned. I guess I should let you all know that I am a struggling alcoholic. Maybe telling you guys will help me. I was sober for almost 2 years. That's when I lost all my weight. One night I drank and went down hill ever since. That's why my weight came back. I was still working out, but drinking beer for the last 2 years which what has ended up on a daily basis. I went to a meeting last night and saw all my old friends. I have TONS of support there it's just a matter of getting off the fence and surrendering again. I've already had 2 beers today to stop the shakes. So there won't be a workout. Tomorrow is another day. I am going to keep busy and go vacuum the pool and go to a meeting tonight. They tell you to never stay away even if you were drinking. Maybe letting you guys know what I'm going thru will make me get off my fat A^% and get started doing what I need to do. Because I AM GOING TO DO THIS. So there you have it. Hope you don't all think I'm a creep.

Kali, {{{ HUGS }}}}} I had no idea! Not once did you ever mention this! I can not even imagine what you must be going through. I can't even give up sweets for a full day, never mine something I am actually addicted to. I know you have a rough road ahead of you, but you did it before and you can do it again. And its a great idea to go back to the meetings,you need to talk to people who are going through the same things as you are. AND there is no way I would ever think you were a creep!!!

I can't believe this, DS just went down for a nap and 30 mins later...he is awake again! I thought he would have a long nap b/c of this mornings short nap...UGH! I can't believe there is no down time for me today, I just sat down and now he is up again! Not only that...but here comes DD with him in her arms!

Kali- I will be praying for you!! I believe we ALL have some kind of addiction (be it alcohol, drugs, food, chocolate, shopping, exercising, cleaning). I am no where near and expert, but, I have heard of people trading one bad addiction for a good one. That is what I am trying to do for my bad eating habit and trying to trade it for exercising consistently and eating right. You have our support and know that you can come here and receive support and not be judged I BELIEVE YOU WILL DO IT!!!!
 
Hey girls -

Well, we had to put our dog to sleep. We're soooo sad!!!! It was the hardest thing to do but best for the dog. He gave us his all for 14 years and I paid him by not letting him suffer. Sooooooo sad!!!

well ladies,I was on the way to the ER and decided to turn around and come home.I going to make an appoitment to my regular M.D. for thursday or friday! Im just not sure if I should go to my M.D or a chiropractor....what do yall think?

The worst thing is I can't workout until I know what this isx( x( x( ( I don't want to injure myself)you guys know how NOT working out makes me CRAZY:+ ! I was looking forward to LIC today too:( then bm2 tommorrow:( then PH on wesnday:( and so on and so on!

Wow, what a day of drama for our small WW club.

Amelia, so sorry about the horrible back spasms. If I were in your place I'd go to the chiropractor for sure but possibly the medical doctor as well, who might give you a back brace and prescribe some muscle relaxants, then the chiro could help address what's causing it to spasm in the first place plus help to work some of it out.
I am so sorry for you!!

Nancy, how hard to tell your dear pet goodbye! You made the right decision, but still, so very hard. My prayers are with you tonight.

Kali, of course we don't think you are a creep and it was very courageous of you to tell us. Yes, you will make it, but it is a hard road. Please continue to check in with us.

Lori, wow, you're right, I went back and re-read your post and you made it very clear the kiddos were home with you, not out with DH. So you had a more challenging day than we'd realized. Good for you getting in a 40 min run, plus some weights.
