Would you be interested in an easier way to search for Cathe workouts?

Cathlete
Nancy Pollock from Cathe Friedrich - Workout DVD, Fitness DVD, Exercise DVDs and Videos suggested that I post this idea.

This is my email that I submitted: "I have many of Cathe's workouts. It's difficult to remember all the options that are available. Would there be a way to search quickly for the info. An example, I wanted to do a 30 minute strength workout and I'd select the different filters/questions to refine my workout choices (workouts or premixes). It would save my time and I'd use my Cathe workouts to their full advantage. I'd have my workout suggestions within seconds versus hours of sorting through them."

Would you use a quick search to find workout options?

Thank you - Sandi

I probably would use it if it were available. It'd be nice to be able to type in what you felt like and have an answer that meets the requirements. I'm not very organized with my workouts so this would be great. Some people have their workouts loaded on their computer now and are able to do that themselves. Maybe one day I'll load them all. But if available I'd use it.

I would use it. Even though many of Cathe´s workouts are on my computer, there is no way to do the type of search you are suggesting...unless I am missing something. If so, I´d love to know!

I too, would love such a thing. I find I end up doing the same premixes and I know there are so many more options - I have printed out the old compendium and I search through that sometimes, but it doesn't have the new workouts in them and I just love those!

Sandi,
I think that would be a great idea. I sometimes use Anna's Cathe compendiums when I am searching for a premix or want to remember what I have. I have so many Cathe workouts that many go unused because I forget about them. Just yesterday I referred to the compendium to find an upper body workout for less than 45 min.---thanks Anna! An online search feature would be amazing!!!

Thanks ladies!

I think most of the information is in Cathe's Workout Manager but it needs a search function. I love all the choices that Cathe gives us but need something to organize them. Looking through the previews or putting the DVD in and looking at the menu takes so much time. I'd love a search feature to do most of the work for me because I'd rather do a workout than look for the workout.

I love this idea. With the tremendous number of workouts available, I forget what I have and what premixes are on the DVDs I have. I like to mix things up, and this would allow me to really find some hidden gems in those 100+ Cathe DVDs.

Not sure if this would be possible.

I'd love the search feature, along with a date of when a particular Cathe workout was done last based on the workout calendar. So that I could choose one that I haven't done in a while.

Hope that makes sense.

I think that would be very cool, especially if they could include the premixes in the search results. I often forget about some gems of premixes.

And a step further would be to narrow it by the workouts I have, so I it doesn't give me a suggestion of what I don't have. Although, I have all but 2 or 3 of the early ones  In our user profile there is a spot for us to click the workouts we have, so I wonder if it could pull info from there?

Nan - that's a great suggestion

I have most of Cathe's workouts but not all of them. We could make our choice quickly (we might have time for two workouts instead of hunting for "the" workout).

A resounding YES! I'd LOVE to use my premixes but I don't have time to figure them out. It would be great for the regular workouts too, sometimes a few get forgotten. And handy to have if I'm looking for a shorter 2nd workout later in the day. Yes!
