Who's Kicking Your Patoot Today?

For me it was Coach Sean, #7. That whole 10, one minute intervals alternating sprints/climbs challenge slays me every time!

Anyone else? :D

After work today it's Meso 3, Wk 1, Day 1 - Chest and Back! Still stiff and sore from that 7.6 mile run yesterday, too! That kicked my butt, but good!

After work, I'm going to the gym to do 45 min of intervals on the elliptical. That should kick my bootay but(t) good! :D

I have CC V7 on tap. That is if it stops raining today, otherwise, I might have to take the poochies interval wildwater rafting to the tunes of cardio coach

GS chest and biceps tonight, and the CM complete core premix. I hurt for 4 or 5 days in the chest and lats aftert this one last week. DH would hug me and I would squeek "Not so tight!"

Nan

Well, I'll be in pushup and pullup hell with Chest & Back from P90X. I decided to start another round to see how I've improved after doing 2 rounds of STS. Wish me luck!

Sparrow- ITA with you on CCV7 interval with the 10 sprints & hills:confused: I did CCPP over the weekend and once again it kicked my butt!

Shaun T's totally kicking my butt! I finally jumped on the Insanity bandwagon and recently got it from QVC. It was a great deal because it included two of the three deluxe workouts at the basic workout price. (It didn't include the upper body workout from the deluxe set, but I've got plenty of other upper body workouts)

Anyways, I was really scared prior to starting this, but I feel such satisfaction at having completed my first week. Today was Plyo Cardio Circuit and tomorrow is my first rest day. Yahoo!! I'm doing CLX along with it and am in the Push phase of that right now.

This is the hardest I've pushed myself in awhile, and I love the way I'm feeling right now! I never thought this old body could handle this.:)

Craig Ballantyne! I'm half way through a 12 week Turbulence Training rotation and loving it!

And speaking of Cardio Coach, I've been using the instrumentals, Volumes 4 through 7, to train for a 5K and I LOVE them. I was never quite sure how to incorporate them into my workouts until I discovered a C25K phone app that allows you to play your own music in the background. I can't use the coached versions because Sean's cues don't match the C25K interval structure, but the instrumentals work PERFECTLY! :D

P.S. For anyone who's interested, I just noticed that the CC workouts are on sale through March 17. You get 15% off with the discount code seanomalley.

P.P.S. this is the iPhone app I'm using for the C25K http://c25kapp.com/

Hee hee, as soon as Sparrow mentioned CC I knew Michele would pop in and talk about CC as well. I love you and your Coach Sean enthusiasm, Michele! :D

I'm on my second week of ChaLEAN Extreme so I'll be doing Burn Circuit 1 today. Probably in a few minutes. Ouch. Wish me luck!

I guess you could say Rippetoe (I'm doing the barbell program in his book). Tonight is workout A: squat, bench, deadlift...then eat. :D

Enter The Kettlebell Week 9 Day 1 - but it didn't kick much because Day 1 is easy day. Ask again on Saturday, then I'll be sending bunches of curses to Pavel and Anthony. :p

Melissa, is ETK an e-book or a DVD? I have The Kettlebell Way 1 and 2, and one of Anthony's training clinic DVD's, but I'd like to try something else.

I'm hitting the backyard and doing the following workout:

3 Rounds
45 Ball slams
45 Sit ups w/med ball
400m Ball run
200 Step ups w/med ball

Hey, girl! :D

ETK is a book. I have read Pavel's book, and am following the ETK workbook from AOS. The first month is 2 days of swings and 2 days of Turkish get-ups each week, and the next 8 weeks is ladders of cleans and presses and pull-ups 3x a week. It is rotation for building strength (and boy does it!). Surprisingly, this is a rotation I have not grown bored with despite the fact that it is only a few exercises repeated! I have a serious case of Rotation ADD, but for some reason I can stick with this one. :)

CC and Coach Sean = the Michele bat signal. :D

LMAO!!!

And you can add Anthony DiLuglio to my short list. I <3 him!! I heart him real bad! :D :D :D

P.S. Did I mention that I also use the CC instrumentals when I do my Turbulence Training workouts? The TT workouts are from an e-book so there's no DVD to follow along, and the CC music is perfect with it! ;)

For me it was GS chest and triceps...YES those 72 push-ups!!!! followed by HIIT 30/30. I am following Cathe's march rotation and it's kicking my butt so far. I am adding also some fast walk/run combo's. I'm not a runner but would like to add this to my routine. It's so nice here in Montreal I really want to do something OUTSIDE.
