To work on set with Cathe and Cedie and the rest of the fabulous gang!

Or be a world travelor!

But I will stick with what I do now because I love it!

This is a fun question. Currently, I am doing my dream job: homeschooling my three youngest children. However, if I wasn't married or didn't have children, I would love to be a host on a television travel show like GlobeTrekker. Another dream job would be a historian or archeologist.

Best wishes on pursuring your passion and fullfilling your God given gifts and talents.

Hi, Lauramax, After 23 years in utilities I am retiring next week. I am going back to school,(again) I have been accepted into the radiology program at the junior college. I won't work for 2 years and will have to live off my retirement fund. BUT I decided to just go for it. I don't want to wind up shoulda, coulda, woulda. I don't have children so this decision is easier for me then some people. If you want a career change but still have to work can you go to school at night or take online courses? I went back to college when I was 30 and had to start from scratch. I enjoyed every minute. Good luck with whatever you decide.:) :9

Let's see now...if I could pick any job, I would be a well paid on site geologist for Rocky Mountain National Park (I have a minor in geology...thus the "geo" part of geojill). Oh my gosh, or better yet, a well paid trail guide or something like that. I think that would be bliss :) I don't think park rangers get paid enough to pay off my student loans and help support my family.

Great thread!

I'd love to:

Full time step/circuit aerobics instructor
Weight Watcher leader (it helps if I was at goal ;-) , and I am working on that)
Motivational speaker

Marcia.

I have always wanted to own my own event planning company. I would love to do every thing from the initial planning to catering. I love to cook and bake. I am already the official cake maker with friends and family for weddings and special occasions.

I'd like to be a kept woman or just independently wealthy.

Other than that - med school would have been great, but if I won the lottery (or had had any brains 20 years ago) I'd go back and get an RD and a Master's in nutrition. Couple that with training certification and then I would do something about all the fat kids we're raising now.

I could think of maybe some small business ventures I wouldn't mind, as well.

I have a great dream job, I am writer, and I work from home!:)

But I always wished at times, I would have gone to medical school and was a doctor, or I would love to be a animal doctor, you know those people who get to work with elephants, big cats,etc...sigh. But I am pretty darn happy with what I do now!

work for bill and melinda gates (foundation) or win the lottery and set up my own foundation for improving the lives of poor and neglected children in the US and around the world and the elderly who have no one to take care of them. :)

My dream jobs:

1. Own a bed and breakfast on the Isle of Skye or on the west coast of Ireland (but travel elsewhere during winter months)
2. Novelist (o.k. technically I could be working on this but usually I end up just writing short stories and have trouble finishing larger things)
3. Episcopal priest (this is one I may actually pursue once both kids are in elementary school so I can have time to go to seminary)
4. Why not all 3?
