Why would post count have anything to do with it?

Hey I'm not the only one who thought he was a troll. Am I getting singled out because I have the lowest post count?

Because in general when referring to trolls on the Internet they have low post counts and post with the intention of provoking other users. I was asking you on what basis you are judging Snidey Spidey as a troll or not a legitimate user. Based on the post count? Based on what he said? What? Why?

You are NOT getting singled out for a low post count or that you said he is a troll, but you were the only one who in response to Liann that Snidey probably won't come back after reading all of that, said "Good". That was rude!!!!

Especially since there is no evidence that he has done anything mean-spirited or troll-like, just YOUR gut feeling.

I suppose it's a combination of low post count, content of posts, and what threads he would post to.

Is there a way to go back and see specifically his posts? I thought there was. Maybe that would jog my memory as to why I initially thought he was a troll.

Well, shoot; it works for me. If anyone wants to do a search, you go up and click the little triangle next to Search and then choose Advanced Search. Then you enter SnideySpidey in the box on the right for "Find posts by user" Then click "Search now" near the bottom.

There is nothing wrong with people voicing their opinions, but you (and I say that in the general sense of "you") still have to use a little tact. I could go into a thread that has nothing to do with me or anything I'm interested in and randomly post that I don't like the person who started the thread. I could say that I'm just posting an opinion and aren't I allowed to think someone is a dumbarse. But it would obviously be rude and inappropriate for me to do so. A thread where someone is sending a shout out to a friend isn't the place for people to start posting their opinions on said friend. Catherine didn't start a poll saying "do you think Snidey sucks???" So she didn't solicitate people's opinions in any way. That was all I meant by no opinion was asked for. It was directed at everyone, not just you.

"Pithy" just means he writes short posts--very succinct posting.

To see posts by Snidey, just go to this thread and then click on Snidey Spidey's screen name in his post. It will bring up a drop down arrow where you can choose "see all Snidey Spidey's posts" or something like that.

I have to say that i really enjoy SnideySpidey's posts. I find him to be quite witty and I actually wish he would post more.

Who cares how many posts someone has? I really don't get why certain members place such high importance on that. Maybe some people are more selective about what they post. Why can't everyone just be welcoming and considerate to all the members here? If you really can't stand someone why not just ignore their posts or threads started by them?

I have to say i have been shocked by some of the "fights" i have read on these forums. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but there is no need to be hurtful or rude to another member.

Fellow guy here...and I don't mind telling you I have zero problems chatting with a bunch of women, I even had the pleasure of being one of two males at the July RT, and had the time of my life doing so.

I've made a couple of friendships for life through these forums, and just had a great workout at Cathe's club with a couple of them, not to mention hanging out for lunch after the class.
