I posted on here about a week or so ago that we were thinking of adopting a dog. She's had heartworms, but has gone through treatment. She is precious. Her name is Patsy. She and our dog Buster, a cocker mix, are getting to know each other. They are in the cold shoulder stage right now. She's a schnapso ( schnauzer/ lhasa apso). If I can figure out how, I will add some pictures to this post. I'm in love. She was rescued from an irresponsible breeder. When they got her she gave birth to puppies that night. She had 6 but only 2 survived. They are as cute as their mommy. She was in terrible shape, but is putting on weight, and is just loveable. She has this great sweet, but not needy personality. I think she's going to be a wonderful addition to our family. We lost our Lhasa, about a year ago. I know she's not Tickles, but she sure has a lot of her good traits. The organization we adopted her from is called "Soft Hearts for Sad Eyes". They are a group of people who foster rescued animals in their homes till new homes can be found. She was taken wonderful care of there.
