Turbo Fire HIIT workouts

NRG Woman

Did any of you notice that after the intervals in the HIIT 15 (or was it HIIT 20) that Chalene was barely breathing hard. I was breathing so hard I had practically stopped breathing:eek::eek: and she was perky as ever and able to get out not only whole sentences, but whole paragraphs.:eek: Now I will know I have made it when I can do that!!!

Hi,

Yes, I felt HiiT15 from Turbo Fire was right up there with Cathe's HiiT Double Wave Pyramid and Pure Cardio from Insanity. I was gasping for air and hoping my lungs wouldn't fail me, LOL!! It was intense but in a really good fun way. Chalene is my hero that girl kicks some butt and makes you give your all just like our Cathe and some others.

Happy Turbo Fires to you!

Nora

You are all making me want these workouts. Where can I purchase them from?

I have to agree with the comment about Chalene's energy and stamina!

I thought the same thing about Cathe on Hiit 40/20 -- she whips her legs over the high step on the butt kicks like she's just starting the workout! I can't quite keep up with her pace on either the butt kicks or the jumps over the step top. It's like she has bionic springs in her legs.

You can get them directly from Beachbody also.

HIIT 15 is pretty intense!

Does anyone elses feet bother them while doing the workout? The arches of my feet are killing me. I just bought the Nike Lunarglides which seem to help a little.

I tried HiiT 15 for the first time a few days ago and it was intense and tough!! I haven't tried Cathe's (I have it) but it scares me because I figured hers would be even more intense! LOL

I do find that my feet bother me at times too - especially for anything high impact. But I also find that they are getting better the more I do but I switch to low impact if they start bothering me too much. Also, I'm getting these foam mats for the basement since some of it for me is probably because of the carpet over a concrete floor.

I CAVED AND JUST ORDERED TURBO-FIRE!!!:eek::cool::D I couldn't take it any longer reading all the reviews watching the video clips over and over!! Phew! I feel better!! The UPS guy had better beware!!! :p:eek:

Okay- now I gotta go do Turbo Jam to celebrate!

Pam

I never noticed Chalene, I'm too busy gasping for air and fighting the feeling of having to throw up! Though I did HiiT 20 today, and it took about 4 intervals to get to me like that. Maybe because I didn't know the moves as easy and missed a few of the reps.

I think the TF HiiTs ARE as intense as Cathe's, but just beware, the 15 and 20 minute ones are SHORTER and not as intense for as long.

Turbo Fire 55 , kicked my BUTT BIG TIME , though. Holy COW! INTENSITY for 55 minutes with FIRE DRILLS in the middle!!!!!

WORKNPROGRESS- I don't know what I am missing but I am going to return TurboFire. Maybe it's because I just finished a rotation of Insanity, but I didn't fine the HiiT workouts to be challenging. There wasn't any time where I thought, "gee I am not going to make it through this." They weren't easy but I would say that Cathe's 40/20 and 30/30 are much more challenging.
I realize that I am the dissenting opinion here so please feel free to help change my mind. I will probably keep the advanced DVDs from Turbo Fire but return the others

I can feel a difference as far as getting smaller. I do Turbo Fire 6 days per week and lift weights 5 days per week. I'm on week 4 of the 12 week challenge for Turbo Fire and I measure this weekend so I will post more info once I get the actual measurements!!!!
I do like the Turbo Fire but I am doing some of the stuff low-impact because of bad knees so I may not be getting the full "affect" but I do notice it. My hubby even said I am tightening up! Wooo Hooo!!!
