Suggestions? - Cardio and Weights

I vote for both lower & upper on the weights. Also, can you please do some kickbox on the step? I just love that, it's my favorite cardio. No hi/lo cardio, please.

Hi Cathe! I personally would rather see upper body work in these circuits. I much prefer to go all out on the step aerobics and I also prefer to just work my legs on my leg workout day, nothing else. Thanks for asking us. Kathy

Hi Cathe,

60 minutes, no leg work just uppper body & step. Pilates work no crunches. I love a good hard advanced workout, but not killer so one can keep coming back for more!

Thanks for asking.

This sounds great. Can't wait to try it! I personally would use a workout like this as more of a cardio than a weight day. So, I would like to see the upper and lower body weight portions combined like in circuit max, but maybe at a faster speed and with light to medium weights. I love those compound exercises and they really keep the heartrate up. Please make it 60 minutes and have a good thorough ab workout if possible. Thanks!

Dear Cathe - I am a great fan of yours - you have converted me to weights - and I have orderd all your strength videos and love them (at a very high cost - I live in Malta, Europe - just shows how much I like your work - you are a true professional).

I realise this may be a bit too much to ask - but would it be possible to have a cardio plus weights video wich is NOT step? (I hear howls of protest) I am step phobic, a weak ankle and other factors have put me off step for life. Come to that I hate high impact too. and it is so difficult to find a work out which combines strength work of your calibre with some nice cardio. I have some good low impact cardio but itch to find a good tape which combines, was thinking of getting your Circuit Max or body max but think that it will be too much hassle to modify all the way through.

So do you think maybe one day you might - if not this time - make a cardio - strength tape with no step? It could even be high impact to satisfy your typical Amazonian fans and maybe with a background exerciser modifying for low impact..... Full body, not just upper boday - and I think from the way MIS and bodymax are so popular, you could afford for it to be over an hour - which might make it possible for it to be more thorough than most combined tapes on the market.

Thanks for all your fabulous and encouraging tapes!

Francesca

I would love that, just weights & step. Then, you could do the same thing on another step video using with a lower body workout!! Also I would love a kick box step tape with upper & lower body intervals, Karen

I like the idea of cardio and weights working both upper/ and lower with the weight intervals keeping it balanced even with the step work! To make it an hour maybe you can add weighted ab work and a longer cool down !Your friend in fitness~~Francine

I vote for 60 minutes with some High intense cardio (I don't think you have enough of high impact)

Thank you

I definitely would prefer to focus on Upper Body in this workout and save my legs for the step aerobic portions!! I feel there are a lot of good leg workouts available and not enough good Upper Body with cardio videos.

My vote goes to focusing on Upper Body strengthening in the weight cycles..no leg weight cycles.

I greatly prefer more cardio over weightlifting. If you added weightlifting for legs you could do it at the end of the cardio.

I love your simple, athletic, intense step workouts that move all over the step (not repetitious), but don't like the dance steps on the floor, turning your back to the camera (I make up my own moves when you do that), walking around the step (I keep moving over my step when you do that). Please remember that some of us work out on carpet in limited space when designing your workouts.

I'm so impressed that you seek input for future workouts. I commend you heartily for that. Many blessings to you and your continuing success and happiness.

I love the idea of cycling upper body and lower body weight work with the cardio. I'd like to be able to use this workout as a total body day since you are also releasing the upper and lower body splits.

Here is what I would like. I would like to have the first 30-45 minutes be a step workout like Step Works, or Rhythmic Step or All Step. This would satisfy all of us who would like a new step routine with interesting choreography and high intensity and maybe an interval blast or too. The next segment would be 30 minutes of upper body circuits. This way the workout could be broken in to two different workouts if one only had a short amount of time but wanted to cover a lot of territory (ala CTX) I vote for no leg circuits, save the legs for all out on the step portion.

I would like upper body only. I would also LOVE for the step choreography to be similar to Rythmic Step. I just can't get enough of that :)

I say go with this the way you have it.If you have your way we'll be working our legs plenty with the step! :D Susan

My suggestion is to have both upper-lower body work, introducing new step moves ala "Rythmic Step"??, also I feel the workout should last for 60 minutes not 50, another important factor for me and many others is the music, fun, loud and upbeat, that should do it. :0)

It goes without saying PLEASE make it tough!

Cathe, I'd like to thank you for providing the best videos in the market and for allowing us to voice our opinions in the making of your new videos.

Hi Cathe!

I give a BIG vote for upper body only...save the legs for cardio.

I also vote for the interesting, complex choreography you are so good at...I love Rythmic Step and would love to see more of the same.

Thank you for listening to all of these views...that is truly rare!

Take care,
Mikie
