Carolyn, been there with DS too. His fear was so large. Once he gets there he will be fine, but until then, no amount of assuaging will help:(. Just lots of hugs and comfort. Is it next Monday?

Missy, it's wonderful you and Tim are go, go, go people. You get so much done in a weekend!

I pulled out SuperCuts and Ab Circuits Wts & Plates this morning. I really love SC! It's so dynamic and fresh and uses all muscles! And the best part: low impact. I hope Cathe makes more of these.

Gorgeous day! Especially when the sun is out! Near 60! Alas, it has started to cloud up though.
 
Good Afternoon...it is so beautiful outside....and I am stuck inside...:(... It is 80 degrees and sunny!

I have allergy issues today....I am battling a headache and eyes are watery....yuck!

I have to work late tonight.....but I am hoping to get home in time...to do atleast 30 minutes of exercise.....I have been slacking these past few days....I need to get back on track.....Tomorrow....I will be back on track!!! Diet and exercise....I just ate an apple...it was so yummy!

Betty---I like SC too....I hope some of the new stuff is low impact....I do enjoy them most!

Back to work I go.....:confused:
 
Carolyn---I feel ya on the 3 weeks till bathing suit....I had mine on over the weekend...and I thought I new to be good....I have a few inches to lose...."winter weight" LOL:eek:

Busy day today. I did a total body BB workout today. Between that and TTOM starting today my muscles are fried. Hope everyone had a nice Easter. Just a quick check in BBL.
 
Quick check in for me. Headed to the Wild game in a bit with Tony's parents. It'll be Breckin's first hockey game so I'm excited to see what he thinks.

I did intensity this morning. I needed to crush some major calories since I ate so much yesterday. However burning all those calories led to eating too much again today including my ever favorite cereal. I was going to try and give it up April 1 but that didn't go as planned. Oops!

I'm thinking of loosely following Cathe's latest rotation she just posted. I have never done one before. I don't think I will do two days of upper body though. I'm thinking one upper body day a week and make that second upper body day a cardio day instead and then have my rest day be UY. I don't have ab circuits though. Does anyone have those workouts? If so how long are they? Thinking I could do core 1 or 2.

Hello!

Wanted to check in before getting dinner ready. It was such a wonderful weekend I didn't have much time to get on the computer. Having the temps up and being able to get outside did wonders for me! Sounds like everyone had a nice Easter, us too. We have a tradition of easter egg hunts with friends who also have 3 daughters, have been doing it since they were very little and still did it even tho the oldest is 18. We brought out the chairs while they hunted and it almost felt like summer again!

I am enjoying my other Cathe workouts after Xtrain. Sat. I did AB, which I have not done in forever and it was the perfect workout to do after a rest day. I used my pushup handles to protect my wrists and they really helped. Then sunday I did UY Yin yoga. This was different from any yoga I have done before, you hold the pose for 5-7 minutes and it was really a mental challenge as compared to a physical one. It starts up right away and I thought I missed the warmup, but there really isn't one (my only complaint). My hamstrings are really tight so after about 10 minutes I stopped, pulled out Crossfire and did the warmup and first segment, then went back to yoga. Much better! Then I did Crossfire this morning, and I noticed an improvement already when I was doing the stretches in the cool down.

I hope no one minds that I talk about UY in a Cathe STS forum :)

Carolyn, your son will be fine once he is with his friends. Great score on the boots, I hope he has good weather. At least the bugs won't be a problem.

Jean, you have been busy!

So tired today! I had wine with dinner yesterday and ice cream on top of that, I was in a food coma with you Betty!

I have Ab Circuits and appreciate it more now that Core 1 & 2 are in existence:D! They're 10-20 min ab routines; so varied!

Hi girls!! Good morning.

Sorry I was sort of MIA the last few days. Just super busy with being home with Easter and spending time with the kids and family.

We went to my parents on Saturday and spent Easter with them. It took us over 3 hours to get home on Sunday when it usually only takes 2. Between traffic and rain, It was a long ride. Fortunately the kids were exhausted so they did sleep some on the ride home.

Mary, I love UY so I like hearing your feedback on it as well. I'm feeling really stiff this week so I'm thinking about doing yin yoga on Sunday.

Carolyn, that so awesome about the boots. Glad it made DS excited about going again. When do you leave for fl? Good job yesterday on your eating. There is a 21 day sugar detox that I'm debating about stating. I took have been eating too much junk lately and I'm up a few pounds. I know they will come off but I'm thinking about starting to get ready for bathing suit time.

Today I did 30 minutes on the rebounder and then a 20 min BB ab segment. I was suppose to do my abs yesterday and I ran out if time.
 
Good Afternoon.....I have been super swamped!

First of all, I went home after a long day of work yesterday....I had a headache all day and my allergies were going crazy. After dinner I layed on the bed and fell asleep at 7:30.....I woke up at 10...yes, I didnt get to do my evening exercise....so I showered and went back to bed....woke up this morning @ 6 and jumped on the treadmill. Then I come out of my room for a brief second to find Tim sitting in the recliner....sick as a dog. He has either the flu or a bad cold. He didnt go to work today....that means he is sick. So I gave him some advil and sent him back to bed. Did all the morning chores and left...yes I dont want it. He had fever and chills....yuck!

So, I am at work...and okay with that. LOL...I love my husband...but he is grochy when sick. He knows thats and has pre-appoligized! LMAO!!!

I am looking forward to my workout tonight....not sure which one I am doing....but I want to do somethinf fun, but something that will butn massive calories....I have been extra good today so far....no candy!:p

To everyone that mentions other exercises.....I like reading all reviews as you have to explore to stay motivated! Thanks!

I will definately check back later...hopefully my maddness is about over....:p
 
Oh no I hope Tim feels better soon. Open some widows and go crazy with the Lysol. Lol. Glad you got some much needed rest.
 
Carolyn---yes...our husband are alike....mine in on his death bed....and yet...he is still working...I just called to check on him and I asked him what he was doing...he said taking online John Deere classes....he said I am using my time wisely....If I have to be home...I might as well knock out some of these classes I have to take. So I said how are you feeling...he said horrible, but I cant just lay in bed all day. OMG!!!! just rest! :confused:

Now that you bring up HST....that sounds like a awesome workout....I just love love love that one!!!! Maybe I will do it tonight???? :p
 
Colleen---I will lysol the entire house when I get home....I have told him in the past...dont take it personal...but I dont want your sicknes...LOL...and the windows will definately be opened!!! hehehehe
 
BTW....I have been good all day.....I have had NOTHING bad....all healthy....if I can just do this for 3 days...It will get easier! :confused: But, it is hard! HARD is not the word.....
 
Yes, it is so hard to eat clean. No junk for me today as well. I'm so proud of us!!!

All my DH wants to do is sleep when he's not feeling well. He is always the last one to go to the doctor but always the first one to make me go...

Just went out to an Italian restaurant to use an expiring Groupon. 2000+ calories later!:eek: Pasta and shellfish for entree, and DS and I split a lava cake. Lots of bread with butter too! Oink oink.

Colleen and Carolyn, I'm reading a book about chia seeds. What an amazing superfood, and its high fiber is supposed to help people with IBS, diverticulitis, and other digestive ills. It's a non-allergenic seed, no flavor, and gels when it gets moist. Read up on it.

Great job, everyone, in eating clean. Help, I've fallen (off the wagon) and I can't get up!:D

Good evening!!!! My friend and I are going to the beach saturday......omg....i had to hit the exercise hard tonight.....i did hst and omg...i so forgot how hard and how much i loved it.....Carolyn....do it tomorrow....you are the one who got me hooked on it.....remember.....those squats towards the end where you sit and stand....yeah...i didnt make it....i so sat....lol!!!!

Collen- i agree with the hubby situation...mine will not go to the dr.....but if i cough he says you better go get that checked...

So i didnt even have my skinny cow ice cream tonight......i can do this!!!

I am meeting my friend at 7 to run saturday morning....then coming home and showering...then meeting my other friend at 9 to go to the beach for the day! Its a 1.5-2 hr drive from here.....not too bad! Going to st george island (florida)

Carolyn, just modify the impacts parts. That what I do with that ones. Do cardio moves that work to keep your heart rate up. Don't fret over not doing the moves cathe does. Just my 2 cents.

Today I did ballet body lower body segment. I did 3. They all seems to be very glute focused. I need to do abs. I will so those tonight.

I slept a great lad night too. I had a headache last night and was really stressed out about work but I didn't cave in in the sweets.

Betty, your lunch sounded so good.
