Pam I hope is just the blues like Janie said so, I feel some kind of waisted oh well I just have to kick my own self and get back to normal... Yesterday I forgot to say that I did legs and today I'm sooooo sore going to the toilet is a challenge hahaha!!:p I think I hurt one of my quads since I did the very heavy one because yesterday I did legs and my quads are killing me the left one I felt like I was pulling open the muscle,:confused: I don't know why! Better to be a food pusher then a food eater.
Good job doing the original Imax:p I wonder where are those regions AFT ones :p I think all of my AFT regions are feeling it too.


Julie Good job doing the spinning workout, did you got new ones? we got new bikes at the gym and new equipment I can't wait to go do cathe spinning video. Oh, so you are in your recovery week, good for you.
Yeah, I think I'm going to take it easy while the girls are at home, Brandy still working so I cannot go to the gym with DH now. I hope I feel better soon too I hate being so sleepy around 3-4pm I can't hardly keep my eyes open. Oh yes Sam is a cute pie, I forgot to tell you guys that the other day he chased the kangaroos and one of them didn't took off fast enough so when Sam got close to him he touched he's leg I had my camera on hand but I was soooo worried thinking what was going to happen that I forgot that I had the camera.
So did you help your DH with the cookies?

JanieGood job doing TBS and stretches with your honey. I think the same thing since last calendar Cathie looks different. Nothing its wrong well actually my shoulder its being nasty lately and I can't get it back to normal so between my super sore quads and bad shoulders its a pain getting a good workout, I haven't be able to have a good sleep because I can't sleep on my left side:( Maybe also the holidays blues who knows. I'm glad that Joey liked his zentangle its pretty cool.


Cheryl I can't wait to get back to my old self that's for sure. Good job doing step blast, love that one too. I hope it did work that fast! hahaha!!!:D

Monday I did upper body only from Total Body STS, Tuesday was off, Yesterday I forgot to say that I did legs and walk 25 min in the treadmill incline 11% to 5.5 speed and today I'm feeling it today I did chest/triceps and the incline again for 25 min, and my shoulders its annoying me :mad::mad::mad::mad: I hope is not for too long.
Stacy and I did chocolate chips cookies and I only had a bite..... for now, I hope I can stay that way.

That is funny that you DH wants help eating the cookies! Our oldest had a bunch of friends over for a bonfire the other night so I told him to feed them cookies! They made a pretty good dent in them! You are sooo funny, but no no Jeannie hop add ons for me,


Janie Great job on TbS, abs and stretching with Joey! I thought the same thing about Cathe having implants when I first got the shock cardio series. I'm so glad to hear that Joey liked s Zentangle, but how could he not?! I finished the first Hunger Games book and will start in the second one on our drive to the beach today.

Cheryl great job on Step Blast. That is one of my all time favorites! It's fun but go you a great sweat!

Eunice I sure hope you are of your blues soon. It sounds like your shoulder issue and your leg issue are probably part of the problem :( big hugs to you!!! Uh oh, failing the toilet test huh? I am still feeling Afterburn from the other day, but not failing the toilet test at least. I sure hope you didn't pull a muscle in your quad! Ouch!

This morning for me was slide and glide. It is pretty hard, it always surprises me because it starts off kind've easy. All of those different pushups are killers! Today we are leaving for the Beach for our annual New Years at the beach so if I don't get a chance to post I hope that everyone has a very Happy New Year!!!

This morning I did Yoga Max. Man, do I have balance issues. Or at least this morning I did. I don’t remember having that hard of a time the first time I did this workout.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching with Joey! Yea, so glad you got your calendar. Hmm. You know, I noticed that Cathe looked different in the new series but I thought it might be the bra she was wearing making the difference. I didn’t think she looked bigger though.

Cheryl Great job on Step Blast! That is one of my favorite step workouts. So much fun and yes I’m sure it helped blast away quite a few calories for you. I was thinking of you during lotus and camel poses today and lightened up how deep I went. I was pushing myself and started to feel it.

Eunice Great job on upper body from STS TB! Wow walking at 5.5 speed! That is running for me. I think I can maintain a 4.5 mph pace walking but anything over that and I have to break into a jog/run. I’ve had these spinning videos for a while I just don’t always do them. I like Cathe’s spin video the best but I don’t want to overdo it. What a cute story about Sam and the kangaroo! Glad he didn’t get hurt, I heard kangaroos can sometimes be mean. I hope your shoulder and quad start feeling better.

Pam Great job on S&G! That one is sneaky hard isn’t it? You think it will be moderately easy/hard and then by the end you feel pretty worked out. I think I am going to bring any leftover cookies in to work and have other people here help get rid of them. Have a wonderful time at the beach for New Year’s!

Eunice I hope you are doing better soon. The blues is not much fun at all. Good job on the upper body work of STS Total Body your leg and treadmill work. Take care of your shoulder you don't want it to get worse. Yumm chocolate chip cookies. You have really good will power if you only had a bite.

Pam S&G is deceiving, it starts out easy but by the end you are sweating bullets. Enjoy your New Years at the beach.

Julie I find that some days your balance is there other days it isn't. I think I went too deep with the lotus pose. I will have to ease back next time I do it. Step Blast did help with a couple of pounds. I have a bit more to go :eek:.

This morning was Athletic Training. I was dripping sweat by the end but it felt good to get through it.

Cleaned most of house today. Vacuumed, laundry, dishes, damp moped floors. It needed it so badly!

Cheryl, Great job on SB. I'm sure it helped with losing pounds.

Eunice, I sure hope your lack of sleep, aches and pain go away. Give it some time. Great job on Upper Body only from TB STS and your rest day on Tues. Also a great job on walking on the treadmill. 5.5 speed is really good with the incline you had! Also great for taking only 1 bite out of a cookie. Good for you!

Pam, Great job on S&G (I like that one, but oh it's a challenge). Enjoy the beach and New Years Eve. Can't get better than the beach. You must like the Hunger Games, or you wouldn't be on the 2nd book. It's really different isn't it? A good read.

Julie, Great job on Yoga Max. It is good for balance. Need to do that one soon.

This morning I did Cardio Supersets Extreme Premix. It was quite tough and exhausting. So I woke up this morning and couldn’t figure out why I had DOMS in my obliques. Could it have been Yoga Max? Crazy!

Cheryl Great job on Athletic Training! That is my second favorite out of the new series (after Afterburn). I’m right there with you on needing to lose a few (maybe more than a few) pounds but I just can’t get myself motivated to worry about that yet. Hopefully in a few more days or so.

Janie Great job on Clean Max! I bet you feel so much better now that it is cleaned. DH and I hate cleaning but afterwards we just love that whole house clean feeling.

Janie You and me had the same clean max workout today :D. I am just leaving the laundry for tomorrow. AT did hurt but it was a good hurt.

Julie You could have DOMS from Yoga Max. I think you do the boat pose in YM, that could be the cause of your DOMS. AT is a fun workout and I think it is second behind AB for me too. Way to go on your Cardio Supersets Extreme Premix. I haven't looked at that premix yet but I bet it was a killer.

Today it was Hiit 30/30 and the balanced core premix of Core Max. I hadn't done either of them in a while. After that it was clean max. It feels good to get all of that done, all I have left to do is laundry.

Joey and I did TBS, abs and stretches. Also my GERD has been acting up big time. Scarry! Decided to treat myself with fine food made for GERD. Feels much better today. I can't stop this, this is the way I have to eat from now on. It scared me it hurt so bad. So glad the holidays are over for me. I abused my poor tummy so badly.
Now, to get healthy again with proper nutrition and exercise. :confused::(:mad::eek::rolleyes:

Julie, Fantastic job on CS Ext. Pre. Oh yes, Yoga Max can cause DOM's for sure. I do feel better that the house is clean. Nothing like it.

Cheryl, Fantastic job Hiit 30/30 and the balanced core pre. of CM. Yeah, cleaning makes a big difference to me too.

JanieWow, you did a lot of work in the house!! Good, that's exactly what I need to do as well. I took your advice and I didn't workout for 2 days. My neck, shoulder and quads are feeling a lot better. 5.5K its diff from Miles a lot slower. Yesterday I had double truffle it was sooooo good.

JulieGood for doing Cardio supersets extreme you are always looking new ways to do the workouts and doing the blender thingy is a good thing. Having sore obliques is good.

Janie Yes we have to race care of our selfs, I know that's what I keep telling my self, no more over eating, tomorrow we start the healthy eating again, good for working out with Joey.

I didn't workout yesterday we took the girls to the pool then in the evening we went to a BBQ it was really nice and I did have to much desert, oh well! Once in a while.
So today I did finally workout with DH, Brandy was home to watch the girls then we went to Eppin to look for school books that Brandy needs.
Not much going on this house hasn't being clean so maybe tomorrow is the day.
DH is going from Jan 4th to the 10th his going hiking with some guys from work he asked me if it was ok, i say YESSSSSS please do it!! Of course not like that but that's what I meant.
I need a little break then when he gets back we will do some driving looking places National Parks I hope we get to do it.

This morning I did the Extreme Premix from Cycle Max. I really like that one. My oblique DOMS are pretty much gone but I have outer glute DOMS from Cardio Supersets. Oh those discs sure do get you good!

Cheryl Great job on 30/30 and balanced core! Plus clean max. That is what I am getting ready to do today. That and some running around from errands. I wasn’t sure if it was the boat pose or the warrior 2 pose where you stretch your arm over your head to get a deep torso stretch that gave me the DOMS. Either way it was kind of nice since I rarely get ab DOMS. The extreme Cardio Supersets premix is really good except you have to do all the pushups and mountain climbers sets twice instead of once.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching! Uh oh! I’m sorry you have problems with your GERD. Eating to help control it sounds like a good plan and should be easier now that the holidays are over. I think it is a continuous journey to get healthy through nutrition and exercise. There will always be setbacks but hopefully we get farther ahead than behind.

Eunice Great job on your workout with DH! I’m glad you guys got a workout in together. Your BBQ sounds like it was fun and I bet the girls loved going to the pool. Oh I understand that it is nice to spend time with your DH but it is also nice to spend time apart. That is all part of a healthy marriage being able to do both things. I’m glad you are feeling better too. I was having a lot of trouble sleeping and major neck pain earlier this year. I ended up getting a new pillow and things have been a lot better now. I think I read that you are supposed to replace your pillow every 6 months. I don’t think I have done that in the past but I might start trying it if it helps me that much.

Did The Wedding video today. It was great! It's been a long time.

Eunice, Sounds like the BBQ was fun. Great job on whatever workout you and DH did. What did you guys do? Joey and I sometimes go places apart as well. It's good and refreshing when we get back together again. Double Truffle sounds so good! But, for me, I've learned my lesson for now.:eek: I've already started and have a journal to write down everything.

Julie, I've found changing pillows back and forth sometimes helps me with my neck & shoulders too. I'm controlling everything that enters my mouth, and I must say GERD is now under control. Yea! Yes, it is a continuous journey for for getting healthy for sure. I think this time I got behind, but working on getting better again. Great job on Extreme Pre. from Cycle Max. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Enjoy the DOMS I didn't get to too sore from yesterday only back and we did legs but I also we did hanging knees for abs and DH told me to use my back to hold me up and I did and there where I'm sore. Yes, that's for sure sometimes being apart its good too... Oh I didn't know that we need to change pillows every 6 months:eek: that explain why I', having trouble I haven't get a new pillow for years, I think is time for me to get one. Thanks for the tip.

JanieGreat job doing the wedding video only good things I hear about that one. Yes, I forgot to mention that we did legs and shoulders, Good for you for starting a food journal I just need to get back to normal as well since the kids are at home and DH is too, it is very hard to keep it clean I try but sometimes is hard, but I will keep trying to eat clean and healthy.

Today was a rest day for me is so very hot over here too. I cannot believe that today is the first of January time goes by so fast.

Janie Good job on TBS and the Wedding Video. Sorry that your GERD is acting up but it will be easier to get into a cleaner eating plan now that the holidays are over. You are not alone in abusing your tummy. I was the same way and am glad to get back to normal.

Eunice Enjoy your rest day. Lucky you that it is hot where you are. I am freezing to death right now. I have the heat on and the space heater going. Some warm weather would be nice right about now. Sometimes a new pillow really makes a difference. It is not fun to have a sore neck. I hope your DH enjoys his hiking trip and you too :D.

Julie Way to go on the Extreme Premix from Cycle Max. I sometimes get DOMS in my abs but not very often. When I do I know I worked them good :D.

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday as it was busy. Our garage door opener broke so we spent time fixing it and then I had to go and get a few things for dinner last night as we had our nephew and his wife over for dinner and the hockey game. Then I had to get dinner made so yesterday went by really fast. So yesterday I did High Step Training, one I hadn't done in a long time and today I did Yoga Relax. Waiting to see what Cathe posts for January's rotation. I am sure it will be a toughie. Tonight we are going over to my parents for New Years dinner and then it is back to normal.

Yesterday was spent making lunches for work to put in my freezer. Didn't get yoga in but I did it Thursday so I did get in during the week. This morning I did disc 13, chest shoulders & triceps and man were my triceps weak. I think some if had to do with doing it first thing in the morning before eating since I usually wait until the afternoon. The rest of the day is going to be spent having a Criminal Minds marathon since DH and I are both off of work.

Janie Great job on the wedding video! I'm glad you are getting your GERD under control. I think eating is the hardest part of the fitness journey. For me, it is so easy to forget how what eat affects how I feel.

Eunice Hanging abs sounds like fun. I have never heard to use your back to hold yourself up but I guess it makes sense. I have straps to do hanging abs with but have only tried them once. Maybe again someday. Hope the new pillow does help.

Cheryl Great job on Yoga Relax and High Step Training! HST has those crazy one arm triceps dips. Glad you were able to fix your garage door opener. My garage door is on its last legs but it is not the opener but the actual door. I'm hoping we can go another year before replacing it.

I got a second helping of breakfast casserole the other morning and all do the kids were shocked because I never eat seconds, I told them it's the new me! :D I dont't think they believed it though!

Cheryl Great job on HST, that is a toughie! Great job on yoga relax too. I haven't looked at Cathe's January rotation yet. I decided to restart the December rotation since I was only a week into it and then missed a few days and then maybe the January rotation depending of how it looks.

We had a great time at the beach, we got back last night. The weather was so nice, it was about 79 every day so we were on the beach in shorts. I hadn't even packed any shorts, but Ashley let me borrow some of hers. I did no workouts except for long leisurely walks on the beach and ate a lot, but somehow didn't gain any weight :D now it's time to buckle down for awhile. This morning for me was AT and I could tell I hadn't worked out in a few days. It was tough! I got very bad news on New Years morning though. My good friend who was fighting cancer passed away early in the morning. The memorial service will be this Saturday morning. :( So sad, but she was just amazing through the whole ordeal! Anyway, have a great day ladies.

Julie Good for you to make your lunches in advance. I wish I could get organized enough to do that. It doesn't matter what day you get your yoga in as long as you do it. I am finding that I am much more flexible now. Good job on Disk 13. I am the same as you in that I am much stronger in the afternoon. Enjoy your Criminal Minds marathon. Those one arm dips are hard in HST. I think we need to get a new garage door opener. Ours is quite old now.

Pam At does leave you feeling like a wet noodle doesn't it :D. Cathe hasn't posted her January rotation yet. I am hoping that she will do it sometime this afternoon so I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Wow 79 degrees.......it isn't that hot here, it is somewhere in the 40s :p. So sorry to hear about your friend {{{{HUGS}}}}.

Janie I am waiting for Cathe to post her rotation too. Hopefully she will post it soon. That is so nice of you to send us all something. I will send you my address. Normal is nice, I am looking forward to get my eating back on track.

Today since January's rotation wasn't up I did Slide and Glide. I did pretty good with the burpees and the pushups until the last set of cross over pushups. I found myself kissing the carpet at the end :eek:.

Cheryl OMG, I don't think you would like to be here right now it is 38.8C humidity 14% so freeeeking hot!!!! and no air conditioner only the swan cooler doesn't do that much, I haven't get a new pillow I have being sleeping without one and I feel so much better.
You had a lot of work fixing your garage door and having dinner at least you had some fun.

JulieDid you finish all your food already? yeah, your right I think you say something about having lunches all packed to last until Dec so I guess you are right, you are good that's a lot of work and you must have a big freezer for that. Good job doing disc 13 chest/shoulders/triceps, enjoy your Criminal Minds marathon I love that show. You should try to do the handing knees/up for abs, I love to do those is hard because you have to have a good grip t hold your self up to do them. NO pillow is working for now.:D

Pam I'm glad your back and that you had a good weather at the beach:D Is weird that during winter you are getting 79 degrees, nice for sure. I like your idea od buckling down together, I can't wait to go back to normal to do my own thing of working out, WO with DH is fun but more fun when he is spotting doing he's WO is good for a change but not to do it for ever. Yesterday was a lazy, hot day NOT GOOD!! when I'm bore I bake, when I bake I eat, (sometimes) we Stay and I baked cinnamon rolls, I found one recipe very easy to do and they were soooo good! I had to have some.... Everything was close I wanted to take the girls to the pool and it was close, I needed to get vacuum bags the store was close. So my day went by and I didn't do anything I had to wait for DH to go to the gym since I'm doing he's kind of workout, and we didn't do anything so I told him that today I was going to make him get up early so we could go workout and be done with that before it gets to hot or just in case we want to do something so that's what I did today, woke him up early we did legs again heavy 1MAX rep 70K 1 rep ouch!!!;). Then BAD NEWS he CANCELLED the trip wit the guys I was so mad NOOOOOOOOO please WHY? so because of that I'm going to make him take us somewhere, I don't know where and what but he has too.
Ok as I type temp went up now is 40.2C HOTTTT!!!!!

Cheryl Well our nice weather is gone now. This morning when I got up it was 25 degrees. Brrrrr....It is supposed to be back up into the 60's by Wednesday though. That is the good thing here, our cold weather usually doesn't last very long. I am worried about my outdoor kitties though :( Spooky at least has a nice bed that he sleeps in on the front porch when it is cold out, but I don't know what Rusty does. I am going to look for those heated outdoor cat houses. Thanks so much for your hugs.

Eunice We never know what we are going to get in the winter here. Sometimes it will be 80 degrees one day and 30 the next. The good thing though is that the cold weather rarely lasts long when we get it. We had a crazy winter last year so I'm hoping this one will be mild. I saw Connie posted on FB that she lost 2 friends to cancer over the holidays. I wonder if one of them was the Cathlete that you mentioned. Very sad. :(
Oh my, I just love cinnamon rolls. I haven't made them from scratch in a long time though. Why was everything closed, for the New Years holiday?

So it looks like I had a typo in my last post again. It was about 70 every day at the beach, not 79. Still pretty nice though. Last night a cold front came through though so it was 25 this morning. Quite a shock to the system. This morning was Imax2 for me, Jeannie hops and all! My hamstrings are a little tight from AT yesterday but not too bad. Coming back to work this morning was such a drag, especially having to set the alarm clock :confused: It's amazing how fast 2 weeks can go by! I hope everyone has a wonderful 2012!

This morning I did Afterburn Single Interval Premix. It was a nice short but intense workout to start off the work week. This whole long weekend was spent eating not so healthy food choices and I could certainly tell this morning as I struggled through AB. Definitely gotta get back on track on eating healthier.

Pam Great job on AT! Oh yes, when you don’t work out for a few days that first one back can be pretty rough. Sounds like your beach time had perfect weather. Maybe that will be a sign for how the rest of the year will go! I’m so sorry to hear about your friend. It is so sad to see someone fight such an awful disease like cancer. She is at peace now. {{{HUGS}}} Great job on Imax2! I was bummed at having to set the alarm after a 3-day weekend.

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching with Joey! Hope Cathe does get the January rotation posted soon. If I remember correctly, her January rotations are usually really good fat burners. I know she was out of town for the last week or so. That probably slowed down her ability to get the rotation up. I sent you my address. As Pam said, you are too sweet to us. We are lucky to have such a good friend like you!

Cheryl Great job on S&G! You know just when you think there isn’t possible another variation that can be done with pushups, Cathe gives us a killer one. I think my favorite one in S&G is the tricep pushup with the arm extension. Making my lunches for work really helps me with during the week but it’s the weekends that do me in. I just have to start focusing on eating for a healthier, happier me.

Eunice Great job on legs with DH! You are so good to keep working out with him. I bet he is enjoying it. Bummer on him cancelling that trip. Maybe it is a good thing so he can take you guys on a little family vacation. I hope you guys go somewhere fun and not so hot. I probably had a few more weeks left of food in my freezer but I wanted to get more made now since I had a long weekend. Now I should be set until the end of March maybe mid April. I have a big deep freezer that I keep my lunches in. I don’t think I could do this without that.
