Julie It is really hot in your area. I am very glad that it isn't that hot here anymore. I am glad that you got your air conditioning fixed and that you didn't have to pay much for it. Good for you in doing 30/30, Strength Training for Fat Loss and Ride.

Pam I saw your pictures on FB and it looked like you had a great time. It is best not to panic when you run into a bear, you just need to keep calm and give them space. That would have been scary to run into that many buffalo, they are very big. You must have been at a high elevation if you got all that snow. I bet you were glad when they got the roads open after all of that snow. That is great that one of the kittens got adopted. That is so nice that you will be taking another kitten to foster. Great job on Cardio Slam and abs from Cardio and Weights.

So Saturday I went dragon boating in the morning and again in the afternoon to help out with the learn to paddle group. Sunday I was going to do yoga but I got busy doing things and the day got away from me so I didn't get it done. This morning I did STS disc 16 Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. In the afternoon I went out for a walk. I haven't done much of that this year.

This morning I did Lift Weights Faster. It’s really busy at work right now and I didn’t get good sleep last night. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about a meeting I have and making sure I bring up some items during that meeting. Ugh!

Pam Welcome back! I saw the amazing pictures you took on FB! It sounds like you definitely had quite the adventure. Not sure I could handle all that wildlife so close. I love animals but I would be nervous with them being free to come up to me. That is great that one of the kittens got adopted but how fun to have another new one to care for. Great job on CS and C&W abs!

Cheryl Great job on the doubel shot of dragon boating! Bummer you didn’t get yoga in but I bet it felft great to get so much done. Great job on STS disc 16 CST and your walk! With the weather and smoke you have had this year, you haven’t had many good days to be able to walk. Hopefully that will change for this Fall.

i forgot to mention that I was laughing when I read your posts from last week. I definitely did not go on a 254 mile bike ride ! I'm not sure where the 5 came from, it was a 24 mile ride. This morning was LIHI back, shoulders, and biceps. Have a great day!

Julie Great job on Lift Weights Faster. Sorry that it is so busy at work and that you are waking up thinking about it. I haven't gone for a walk much this year at all. It has either been too icy too rainy or too hot. I hope to get more walks in this fall.

Pam I was wondering about that 254 mile bike ride. That 5 just wanted to sneak in. Good work on LIHI Back, Shoulders and Biceps.

This morning I did Rhythmic Step, I haven't done that one in a long time. Then I got some housework done and then in the afternoon I went out for a walk. Tonight was the last Tuesday night dragon boat practise. It is getting dark out early so we will only be going out on Saturday mornings.

Today is my rest day. We are finally seeing a break in the heat. The temps are cooling down to the 70s which is great because my department is doing a picnic at a park today.

Pam Great job on LIHI BSB! 24 miles seems much better than 254 miles. I’m glad the meetings are over that I was stressing about but for some reason it didn’t help me sleep better last night. Maybe I will be so tired I have no choice to sleep well tonight.

Cheryl Great job on RS! Bummer that Tuesday night dragon boating is over. It stinks when it starts getting dark out earlier. That’s when you know winter is on its way.

This morning I did STS disc 17 Legs. In the afternoon I needed to go to the mall to pick up a few things so I decided to walk there. It was a nice day and I wanted to take advantage of it. Tonight was the last dragon boat for the other team that I am on. Now it will be only Saturdays until the end of November.

This morning I did RUUB plus the bonus abs. Since I don’t like the reverse crunch/pilates move, I did my own thing and broke them up into two separate moves without combining them. It didn’t seem as bad this time but there is one oblique move that I am still not doing right. Oh well, I tried at least! I am taking tomorrow off work. We are supposed to get our couch delivered that we ordered earlier this month. So excited!

Cheryl Great job on D17 Legs! So glad you had a nice day and could walk to the mall. You still have Saturdays for 2 more months for dragon boating but it will be sad when you have to take a break from it.

Yesterday I did Rockout Knockout and Core max 2. I didn't get a chance to post because my sister is in the hospital and we were heading over there to see her early. She was pretty disappointed because the surgeon came in and said that the surgery that she was hoping for isn't a good idea for her because it would be too risky. She is also supposed to be starting dialysis, and the combination of the two has too many complications. This morning I did LIHI chest, shoulders, and triceps. I'm always happy when I finish all of the push-ups in that one! I got my new little foster kitten on Tuesday afternoon and he is just so cute! He's just a tiny little ball of fur and he walks around like he owns the place. We haven't figured out a name for him yet, we need to get that done. Have a great day!

Yesterday I did RWH LI Hiit 1 and core 1. Then we headed out to my parents to mow their lawn and to do more yard work for them. Of course it had to be 90 degrees out yesterday. Both DH and myself were drenched in sweat after we were done. Then because it is probably one of the last nice days we had a BBQ with friends of ours. This morning I was so drained when I woke up that I didn't workout this morning. I had a really hard time sleeping because it was so hot out but today it is raining though it is still humid. Our neighbours were going out and I had told them that I would walk their dog for them in the morning. So I did get some exercise by walking him.

Friday I did EBE 2 Weighted Legs (love it). I took Friday off because my couch was supposed to be delivered. They called me between 8 and 9 to give me my 2 hour delivery timeframe which was 5 to 7! Crazy late! They didn’t end up getting there until 6:30 and it took about :30 for them to get the old couch out and the new one in. I love it though! Saturday I did RWH Plyo HiiT 2 with NO breaks! Whoo hoo! After that, DH and I had a lot of errands to run. Sunday I did Strength Training for Fat Loss and then was lazy the rest of the day. This morning I did Cycle Sweat. I really did not want to get up as I got horrible sleep but I did because DH got up too.

Pam Great job on RK and CM 2! Oh no, I am so sorry to hear about your sister. Great job on LIHI CST! The pushups in that one is brutal after that weight work. So cute about the new kitty acting like he owns the place. Great job on CF plus LLA abs! Hope everything went well with taking your mom to see your sister.

Cheryl Great job on RWH LIH 1 plus core 1 and yard max at your parents! That is really hot out to be doing yard work. Glad you were able to have BBQ afterwards to celebrate that hard work. I can only imagine you were so tired after sweating so hard from the yard work. Glad you were able to get a little walk in with the neighbors dog.

Saturday I did LIHI Legs and the abs from Lean legs and abs, then spent the day at the hospital. My sister had a really bad day and they didn't think she was going to make it Saturday, but they were able to stabilize her for the time being. Things don't look very good though, they are trying to figure out if there is anything they can do to at least get her out of the hospital. Sunday was my rest day and I was at the hospital all day again. This morning was cardio kicks ad the abs from LIC. Have a great day.

Saturday morning I went dragon boating. It was a really nice morning for it. I went back in the afternoon to help out with the learn to paddle session but just before we were going to go out to the boat there was thunder and lightning. It is too dangerous to go out when the weather is like that so it has been postponed until next Saturday. Sunday I did Yoga Relax which felt good since I have slacked off on my stretching. This morning I did STS disc 19 Chest, Shoulders and Triceps.

Last night DH’s truck wouldn’t start and we had to have it towed to a shop. We think it is the starter. Hopefully because that isn’t too expensive. This morning I was supposed to do Lift Weights Faster but I was so tired. I have a toothache and my nose is runny so that doesn’t help. I think I might be falling apart. I just didn’t feel like lifting weights. Which I don’t think I say often. I ended up doing CrossFire. I didn’t do too bad for being out of shape cardio-wise. I had to pause after the firewalker tabata to get a drink and catch my breath and I didn’t always do all the 1/2 turn jumps or the pushups but I did the rest as is. Ozzie is at the vet today. Hoping they can do one more chemo treatment and his lymph nodes have gone down but I won’t find out for a while.

Pam Great job on LIHI Legs and LLA abs! Oh my, I didn’t know your sister was in that bad of condition. I am so sorry. I will be praying for them to find a way to help her get out of the hospital and be comfortable. Great job on CK and LIC abs! With all that is going on with your sister, you need to take care of yourself.

Cheryl Great job on your dragon boating session! Too bad the lightning and thunder prevented your second round. Definitely nothing to play around with when it is lightning out. Great job on YR and STS D19 CST! I have been slacking off on my stretching too. When I do paper workouts like ST4FL and LWF, it definitely falls by the waste side since Cathe isn’t forcing me to do it at the end of the DVD.

Julie Oh boy, I hate car trouble, I hope it isn’t too expensive! Crossfire is a toughie, so I’d say you are in better cardio shape than you think! I’m thinking you aren’t falling apart, just needed a break from weights. You’ve been going pretty hard! I sure hope things go well for Ozzie today.

This morning I did PLB. My hamstrings were really talking to me during those ball roll ins! I was quite happy when the were over! My sister seems to be doing quite a bit better yesterday and today, so hopefully that is a good sign for her. Have a great day!

Julie I hate having car problems. I hope that it isn't too expensive. If you didn't feel like lifting weights you probably just needed a break. I think you are better than you think you are cardio wise. Good job on Cross Fire. I hope things go well with Ozzie and his chemo treatment.

Sorry for the late post. I had a crazy busy start to my day. Ozzie’s vet appointment was somewhat good news. His tumors have not grown but they are recommending we switch to a different chemo protocol since they are not responding to his current formula. He started his first dose of the new chemo yesterday and they will see him in 2 weeks. He has been a little more energetic lately so that is good news. He is also on a steroid so he will be hungry and thirsty I am sure. After picking him up, we had to go get DH’s truck. Luckily it was just the starter so not super expensive but more than I would like to have spent. Today was my rest day. I don’t really feel all that rested. My tooth is still bothering me but I have an appointment at the dentist this afternoon. I am worried it might be abscessed.

Pam Great job on PLB! The weight work in that one is crazy enough but the ball section is added bonues/torture. That is great news to hear your sister is doing better. As you said, hopefully this is a good sign. I hope I am not falling apart either. I think it has been going hard with weights. Even though I said I wanted to focus on cardio and muscle endurance, I always seem to fall back into the heavy weights trap. Great job on Imax 3! That is a toughie but at least there are no Jeannie hops!

Cheryl Great job on KPC! That is a nice one to revisit. I always find it fun. Thanks for the vote of confidence on my cardio. I am sure I am better than I think but man when I am huffing and puffing all I can think of is how out of shape I am.

Pam Great work on Imax 3. I haven't done it in a long time but I remember that it almost kills me too.

Julie I am glad that Ozzie is doing better and I hope the new chemo protocol will make the tumors shrink. That is good that the car repair wasn't too expensive. I hope your tooth isn't abscessed and that it is something that is very simple to fix.

This morning was STS disc 20 Legs. Tonight I went out with my Wednesday night dragon boat team to a pub for an end of season get together. It was a lot of fun.

Last night I went to the dentist and my tooth has an infection in the root. He gave me an antibiotic and will see me in a week to see if that solves it. It is still hurting but I think after a few more doses of the antibiotic, it should calm down. This morning I started a new program that will hopefully help me stay on track of light/moderate weight to increase endurance and my cardio capacity: Metashred Extreme. Today was the first upper body workout Metapocalypse Upper. It was surprisingly intense. I previewed it earlier this week and thought ok, I can handle pretty heavy weights but it sneaks up on you. It has a lot of band work in the begnining which actually gets your muscles pre-fatigued and burned out. Then in between every exercise you do a metaset which was 30 seconds of plunge lunges. It starts off not so bad but quickly builds. My upper body is burning right now.

Cheryl Great job on D20 Legs! Glad you got to have some fun ending the season with your team. Hopefully it won’t be too long and you guys will be back together ready for another season to start.
