Strength in Numbers

Eunice It seems like we are always in a drought here and usually it's just a question of how severe. The only time I remember us not being in a drought was one time right after a hurricane where we got all kinds of rain and flooding. When you were talking about Rachel's itching I thought at first maybe it was poison ivy or something like that. It sounds like she is allergic to something though, any idea what? You have just had one thing after another lately!
Your lunch sounds so good, I can't believe she made all of that for lunch! I can understand you not being able to eat any dinner after that. Your baking day sounds like it will be a lot of fun. I love coffee cake :)
The extra warm up is a good idea, but of course I am always so impatient with the warm up and just want to get into the workout. Maybe I can warm it up while I am feeding the cats and scooping the litter box  That is what I do before I start my workout every morning.

I saw on fb that you did Muscle max, good job! Your facial sounds wonderful, enjoy yourself. :D

Cheryl I have never taken aleve, is that the one that they say makes some people do strnage things in their sleep? I remember stories about people waking up and having candy wrappers all over their beds and other strange things..... at least it was just weird dreams, but those can be rather freaky. Glad to hear you got a good sleep Monday night and are back to normal.
Your neighbot was probably happy that he kicked your butt in bootcamp. There is something very satisfying to instructors in inflicting pain like that on people :p
I'm glad to hear that you got some nice weather and got to eat dinner outside and enjoy it. We are at the point now where it is too hot to sit outside. Yesterday it was around 100 and then with all the smole in the air there was no way we wanted to be outside. I guess the winds shifted because the smoke is gone today.

Janie Oh boy, I hate those days when you are running around doing errands all day. By about my third stop I am usually ready to go home! Did you do the sleep machine last night? how did it go?

This morning for me was CCC. I didn't notice until I was marking it complete in Workout manager that I was supposed to do the cardio only premix, so I did the whole thing. I was wondering why no-equipment abs was scheduled for the same day. I still plan to do that when I get home tonight. I set it on the kitchen counter where I do dinner prep so that I won't forget. As usual, that 4th round killed me. I can never get through all of the crossover pushups in that round. I did about half of them and then collapsed on the floor. I was not too excited about doing round 5 after that, but I got through it! Happy Wednesday/Thursday everyone!

Pam

Ugh!!! I thought I posted yesterday but obviously lost it or forgot! So to recap (again), Monday night I did disc 19 CST. Tuesday morning I did Step Heat which was the first time I had ever done that one. This morning was disc 20, Legs. Now I am waiting for the DOMS to settle in!

Pam Great job on 30/30 and MB Abs! That’s weird that your Meso 2 is T/Th/Sa. Mine was loaded into my calendar as M/W/F. Did you choose the plyo legs? I wonder if that makes a difference. Your Father’s Day dinner sounded yummy. Great job on disc 13! I really, really am loving Meso 2 upper body. I actually prefer Meso 1 legs over Meso 2 but I am so happy to be done with those pushups! I thought about doing Cathe’s pushup challenge but I am not sure I will do it. WOW! Great job on doing all of CCC and I have no doubt you will get No Equipment Abs in tonight.

Janie Great job on TBS and stretching with Joey! You would be so proud of me and DH! We have taken the dogs for a walk every day since Saturday except Monday because it rained all day. I even got up extra early today to take them for a walk after my workout and before going to work. They are getting spoiled now. ;)

Eunice Wow you had a busy weekend with Intensity! Great job on SH Triceps/Biceps and All Step cardio from CTX. I’ll try to take a picture and post it when I am done with STS. I took before pictures and want to compare after pictures to it. Hope you enjoyed whatever workout you chose yesterday. I bet you will truly enjoy your spa day! Sounds fabulous!

Cheryl Hope you got your workout in and got good sleep without those crazy dreams. Do you think it was the Alleve that gave you those dreams?

Have a good Wendesday!

Pam Good thing that I only had weird dreams. I would really freak out if there were candy wrappers all over the bed. My neighbour seemed quite happy that he had kicked my butt. I will see how I feel after this weeks workout. Our good weather didn't last too long. It is suppose to be cloudy again for the rest of the week . I must have missed your post about the smoke. Are there forest fires burning around you? CCC always gets me. That is one I need to get into the rotation more. Good job doing the whole thing even if you didn't have to.

Julie Way to go with disk 19, 20 and Step Heat. I don`t think I have that workout. It was the Alleve that gave me the weird dreams. I never remember my dreams and they rarely if ever wake me up. It did get rid of the DOMS though.

This morning I did MMA Fusion. It felt good to get a workout in.

Have a great Thursday everyone.

Cheryl

Chery That is weird that Aleve pill give you weird dream I never hear that before:p I hope you get to sleep better tonight, don't you just love DOMS they are a reminder of the awesome job you did! To bad that your good weather was teasing you:confused: well latter you will do it more often for now just enjoy when you get the chance!

Janie That's a lot stuff going on in one day I know the feeling it drives me nuts that I can control my time like I'm use to but we just have to done all those thing! Hope you get a better day tomorrow! OOo I will enjoy my sand paper face spa! I hope it does good to me!

Pam I hope you get some rain soon, I don't know what happen to Rachel but now she is fine, lets hope stay like this for a long time! Ooo yes she always cook a lot and really good I love her food! You are to funny and impatient too I think the extra warm up its going to help us because my left shoulder is always more sore than the right one after a weight workout too.. Thanks I will I can't wait for that one! Good job on doing CCC and abs I'm pretty sure that did it! Which one the pushup elbow/knee or the roll back and cross legs coming back into a pushup? I always always do those pushup/elbow/knee one of my favorites core exercises I end up with red face and very sweatty floor so I have to make sure I have dry mat for that one.

Julie Good to have you back I bet you had being so busy with your house projects and double workouts dogs work that I don't know how you do it all!!! Good job doing all your workouts! Step Heat is a good one! Good that you took picture of the before so you can compare your self!

Cheryl Last night I was thinking about which workout I was going to do today and I thought about doing this one this MMA:Fusion one of all of my favorites ones, good job on doing that one I hope your DOMS are getting better!

Well this morning I got a phone call from my friend telling me that she had time today to do the baking so we did it today we baked both of the caked coffee cake and poppyseed cake we had lunch and spend the day... and I didn't get to workout so tomorrow I will have to double them up!!! Have a good one!

Julie I hate it when I forget to post! Great job though with all of your workouts! How did you like Step Heat? I think I have only done it once a long time ago and wasn't crazy about it. Isn't that one where they are wearing thongs and scrunchies?
I'm not really sure what the deal is with my weights being T/Th/Sat. I think there might be multiple copies of the STS/SC rotation in the workout manager and I just loaded the first one that came up. I'm pretty sure last time I did it my weight days were M/W/F. I am doing plyo legs, are you? i just looked and it goes back to M/W/F for meso 3.
So far I'm liking meso 2 better than meso 1, but I'm only 2 days into it so that could change. The drop sets and tri sets seem to go really fast for me. I started to do the pushup challenge, but my chest and shoulders were so sore when I tried to do them yesterday that there was no way. Oh I bet your dogs are just loving those walks!

Cheryl I was laughing when I read your post about the Alleve because we had just watched a TV show that day where this woman found our her husband was having an affair. She gave him 2 Alleve and told him to go to bed. Then she went in and shaved his head while he was asleep. That was all I could think of when I read your posts.
I think I better stay away from the Alleve. I already have a lot of weird dreams. The other night I dreamt that I was out for lunch with my DH and he left me there when I went to the bathroom :rolleyes:
The forest fires are over 100 miles away near the coast, but on Tuesday the winds were blowing just right to bring all of the smoke here. It was amazing how thick it was for them being so far away.
Yes CCC is a really good one, but I have a real love/hate relationship with it. I'm always a little nervous when I see it in the rotation. Maybe I just need to do it more often to get over that? I used to feel that way about 40/20 but I don't anymore.

Eunice There is a 40-50% chance of rain every day for the next 5-6 days, so we will probably get some. Some areas about an hour from here got 6 inches in one storm the other day! We only got .25 inches!
I'm glad to hear that Rachel is fine now, hopefully your whole family will stay healthy for awhile now!
The pushups that I can never finish in CCC are the elbow to knee ones. I don't think it helps that they come right after round 4 with the roll back and spring up jumps:rolleyes: I workout on carpet so all of my sweat just soaks into it :p It looks like you made BOTH coffee cakes huh? Which one was better? Im glad to hear that you had a nice day with your friend.

I did do the no equipment abs when I got home last night. It was a good thing that I left it on the kitchen counter though because I had forgotten about it until I saw it sitting there. This moring was disc 14 legs. Ouch, I will be feeling this tomorrow for sure. To top it off I have the big drive to Pennsylvania this afternoon so my legs will be very unhappy with me. I was remembering this morning why I bought those versa grips. The weight is starting to get heavy and my forearms don't like it. I just need to go back and practice on how to use them. I tried to get them on during one of my 60 second rests but wasn't successful so will try next time. Oh yes, one of the kids was looking out on the porch last night and commented that there was a raccoon eating out of the cat bowl. So now we are feeding at least 2 cats and 1 raccoon. We ran him off but he came right back so I brought the bowl in for the night. I thought about putting a camera out there to see what other varmits might be visiting..... Not sure if I will be able to post for the next few days, so if not, I hope that everyone has a great weekend and keep up the great work (outs!)!

Pam

This morning I did MMA Fusion and Ab Circuits Stability Ball. I love the last combo of MMA Fusion because it really makes me feel like I could do some damage!! :p I also love the turtle spins in the conditioning drills at the end. I think I could do those all day. Now the 1-legged pikes are another story. I didn’t even attempt to do them one legged but I did do four 2-legged during that time!

Cheryl Great job on MMA Fusion! I really didn’t copy you with that workout, it was on my schedule for today! Step Heat was ok but it is not one I would choose to do on my own if it wasn’t on a rotation. I think it was just a little too slow and repetitive for me. It only had 2 combos, so maybe I felt like it was missing a third one.

Eunice A baking day sounds good even if you didn’t work out. Although if that was me, I probably would have eaten so much of what I baked I would need to triple my workout the next day. ;) I don’t know what was going on with me the last few days. I thought I posted yesterday and completely lost track of time last weekend. I hope my mind starts behaving again soon!

Pam Great job on NE Abs and Disc 14! I bet that long car ride will not sit well with your legs especially after working them. I hope you got a good stretch in to help with the DOMS! That is too funny (and scary) about the raccoon. I can’t believe they were all getting along! I actually loaded the squat rack version into the workout manager. My plan is to do that but I might try to add on plyo legs on Saturdays. That may be a little ambitious so we’ll see how I feel!! Let me know how you like the versa grips. I thought about getting a pair because my forearms poop out on me way before my legs do.

Have a great Thursday!

Eunice I don't think I have ever had DOMS that bad. It has gone away now but we will see if it comes back on Saturday. MMA Fusion is a fun workout. I like all of the MMA workouts that Cathe has. You had a nice day with your friend. I love coffee cake.

Pam That is too funny about the woman who gave her husband the Alleve and shaved his head. I only took one Alleve and it did weird things to me. It is so funny what we dream about, my dream had dinosaurs in it . It is amazing how far smoke can travel, it all depends on how the winds are blowing. Sometimes I think our minds can stress us out on some workouts. I have that too with some of Cathe's but when I actually do them they aren't as bad as I made them out to be. I think we do need to do them more to get comfortable with them. Do you guys need some rain????? We have lots here that we can send your way ;). Racoons eating your cats food.......they are cute but I wouldn't want to get in their way.

Julie Aren't the turtle spins fun. I think Step Heat was one of her first workouts. Were they in thongs and scrunchies? It is funny looking at the older workouts.

Friday tomorrow!!!!!!!! Have a good one everybody.

Cheryl

Yesterday Joey and I did TBS, abs and stretching from Cathe DVD's. Today Rolly and I went walking for an hour and a half. It was so nice this evening a little breezy, but not complaining at all. Felt sooooooo gooooood. I'm on FB now. Lots of my family (nephew and nieces) are on there. Wow. I even put my web site on FB. Cool place. Guess what? I did one full Pike on the Stability ball. Yahoo!!!

Pam, I used the sleep machine and it went well as far as I know. Will find out more within 1-2 weeks if I have a disorder. Great job on all of CCC! LOL, That's something I would do. I'm thinking about Cathe rotation for July. Wonder if I could do that along with TBS. I'm yearning for something different!

Julie, Great job Mon. on disc 19, chest shoulders and triceps and Tues. SH. Do you like it? I love it that one a whole lot! Also for doing disc 20 legs. I think DOM's is a certainty.:D I am very proud of you and your honey walking the dogs. I think it's also good for you too. Yeah!:D spoiling your animals is a wonderful thing.

Cheryl, Great job on MMA Fusion. Yea!

Eunice, Did you enjoy your sand face spa? I can only imagine.:) Sounds like you had a lot of baking to do.

Pam, Great job on the equipment abs. Also disc 14 legs. Ouch is right! I bet you were sore. Versa Grips does save the day. That would be interesting to see other animals around the house at night. We have raccoons, opossums, and bob cats. Once (a long time ago) one of the cats or raccoons got our beloved Fritz. It was Joeys cat, and the best and first cat he ever had. Such a sad story. Yep, raccoons can be viscous, be careful around them.

Julie, Great job on MMA Fusion and Ab Circuits Stability Ball.

Have a good one everyone,

Janie

Pam I've done Step Heat but only on my free week and maybe once too I don't remember a whole a lot but I'm happy when I can finish a new step workout now I can hear Cathe and do whatever she say with out looking not always though with new steps and rhythm's its hard but fun to see the sweat fly;) Hopefully you get some rain.... Oh men I'm doing the pushups challenge as well and I started with 11-14- and today 18 I was glad that I did them before the workout today! Good job doing legs have fun this long weekend take pictures and I hope you get to stop during the long drive and give those legs some stretch.... I don't know which one was better we baked 2 and gave her half and half, when DH got home I told him that and he was "Grrr" so between DH, and 3 daughter's its almost gone maybe 2 servings left and really, really hard to chose a favorite one:D too funny about the raccoon you should put the camera out to see what else you get to visit you at night:p

JulieGood job on MMA:Fusion Love, love that one too and abs good job on the2-legged stability ball pikes that's awesome... My goodness two cakes on one day... To my standard I don't think I ate to much *wink* and you probably right I should it had have triple the workout but I didn't I walked with Sam too and did one workout! I know I have to work harder;) and eat less and stop baking:confused: I would say then that Sam its pretty spoiled, we go out for a walk almost-almost every day... Good for you that decide to start doing it with you husband they love it:D

Cheryl She is a very special friend to bad that we have to go back home and its going to be hard to see each other again, when I got to met her she was planning a trip to visit her son who was working away in Tasmania a week latter I didn't see her or heard any from her, I founded out that her son was found dead in his room. Such a trauma something you don't wish to the worse person in this world and then I felt it because of my daughter being away there was something that scared me to death, and she is one of those person that you get to meet once but you felt like you have being known for ever.

Janie Good for you and Joey for working out together and walking with Rolly for a long one hour and a half, I take Sam for a walk but not for that long he got distracted with other dogs barking inside the fences or birds or kangaroos and right now he has to be tight to the leash I don't let him eat anything, nothing, I have to take care of him till he gets 100% good, which I think he is now but still.:p Good that you are in FB finally I'll get to friend you.... Wooohoo!! for the full pike on the ball, very impressive and didn't you just feel awesome!:D My sand face spa its tomorrow so you wont hear from me tomorrow till Sunday or Monday... Fun day baking love my KitchenAid it does all the job for me. :p

Question for the STS girls where did you get the rotation for the cardio I download the 6 months into my calendar and it doesn't have cardio planned I'm thinking about doing legs on Monday so I can do 2 days of legs I will try this coming week and see how my legs behave.... Tomorrow its my face spa appointment, so no workout for me and one more week of school and they are out, hopefully we get to do some things for fun only if DH doesn't go to the field or he doesn't get the surgery..... So today I did the pushups 18 on my toes that's the most I have ever done very slow but I did it after that I did STS total body it was good love it my chest was still sore from muscle max so my chest muscles woke up pretty fast after I did the first set of bench presses.. Love lifting heavy:D:eek:;) Have a good weekend everyone and I'll talk to you guys latter!!!!!

This morning I did CTX: 10*10*10 Cardio Only and the Cardio Only Premix from Circuit Blast. For some reason, I just really love those frog hop things in Circuit Blast! I feel like a little kid when I do them! :p

Cheryl Yes they were in thongs and scrunchies in Step Heat. I think that was the only thing that made me somewhat enjoy it because it made me chuckle at the old styles that used to be in. I think she was also wearing high top sneakers too! :D

Janie Great job on TBS, abs, and stretching with Joey and your super long walk with Rolly. That is so great about being able to do a pike on the SB!!!! I love it when I can finally do something that I have struggled with for so long. Those pikes are hard; some days I can get some in, some days none. I’m waiting for the day I can pull of the levitation hold! I think you should do a rotation in July. You might have to lighten up on the wieghts in TBS some days to accomodate whatever is on schedule in the rotation that day or the day before but you can do it!

Eunice Great job on 18 pushups on your toes! I love it when I beat my old record and hate it when I can’t even meet an old record! Great job on STS Total Body. I love that work out along with Muscle Max being my two most favorite total body workouts. I am right there with you on the eating. If I could control what I put in my mouth, I think I would look 10 times better but I like food too much. It is fun spoiling dogs but I understand about dogs wanting to sniff and check out every little thing along the walk. All I want to do is go, go, go and they just want to sniff the grass, garbage cans, look at birds, etc. I only downloaded the STS Squat Rack rotation without cardio because I wanted to be able to add my own cardio in on the other days. There is an “Official STS Strength and Shock Cardio Program – 3 ½ months” rotation under the Cathe rotations. I think there is also the official strength and cardio 3 ½ month rotation under her rotations too (that one is the older workouts-not the STS workouts). Hope you enjoy your spa day, lucky girl!

Happy Friday!

Janie Congratulations on your full pike. Isn't FB great. I don't go on it much but it is nice to see what is happening to your friends where ever they are.

Eunice That is terrible about what happened to your friends son. I couldn't imagine what she is going through. It is good that you have each other. Is she in Australia short term like you or is it her home country? I can't remember where I downloaded the STs rotation. I think there must be something in Workout Manager. I hope you enjoyed your spa treatment.

Julie Good job on CTX10*10*10 and cardio only from Circuit Blast.

I went to restoritive yoga last night. It was very relaxing. It is a nice little yoga studio but I think it is a little too far to keep going after my free month. This morning I went to my Bootcamp workout. It is a lot of fun but it sure was raining. The instructor said that he has done 20 sessions so far and for 16 of them it has been raining. I am getting rather tired of the rain and cold. It really doesn't feel like it is almost July. I am still in jeans and a sweat shirt.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Cheryl

Yesterday evening my one of my daughters and my grandson came over for the night. Today Monique (daughter) her dog and Rolly went for an hour and 15 min. walk. Very beautiful outside, and the most fabulous walk.

Eunice, Yes I did feel awesome doing that pike. Tomorrow I may try another.

Julie, Great job on 10*10*10 cardio and cardio from CC. I love 10*10*10! OOOO I've been working on the levitation hold. Those are hard too. You talked me into it. I'll do the July rotation. Yea! I think lightening up on weights for TBS is a good idea.

Cheryl, Great job on restorative yoga and this mornings BC workout. Rain Go Away!

Have a good one,

Janie

Yesterday I did Kick Max Bootcamp/Kickbox Premix and the Heavy Bag Bonus from MMA Boxing. Then Jason and I had errands to run and work to do on his truck. In the last 2 weeks we have spent $500 on our cars. Ugh!! Oh well, it was all necessary work. Today I actually did a Stretch Max! :D I'm kind of proud of myself for taking time to do that since I always struggle with doing stretches outside of workouts.

Cheryl I don't blame you for not wanting to drive far for yoga once your free month is over. I also don't blame you for being sick of the rain. We have had more rain than we need to. It doesn't feel like summer at all.

Janie I bet you had a blast on your walk with your daughter and the two dogs! Seems like a great way to have some mother daughter time. I am glad you are going to do the July rotation to help spice up your workout routine. I can't wait to see what Cathe comes up with for you! ;)

Have a great Sunday!

Janie Today was a great day for a walk. Nice for you to have your daughter and grandson come for a visit. Doing BC in the rain wasn't much fun but it was a great workout.

Julie Good job on your Kickbox premix and the Heavy Bag bonus from MMA Boxing. Cars are expensive to own but we all need them. We get along with one car which works the majority of the time. Sometimes it would be nice to have two though. It takes longer to get to the yoga studio than I thought it would. I am going to try to go again tomorrow night for hatha yoga.

Today I rode my bike to yoga. It was finally a nice day here. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Cheryl

Julie I don't remember the frogs part in that one I might gonna have to do it! Good job on doing the 10-10-10 I haven't done that one yet, how is it? it is cardio? You are right it feel good when I can beat my personal record, I almost don't even do the same today but I pushed my self and did 18 again! You just don't hate how hard it is to get in shape but to loose it you just need one week to gain weight :confused: I hate it, hate, hate last month I didn't work as hard as I did when I was doing February rotation, well, I feel like I gain weight NOT much but I did  I will pick my own cardio too!:D.... Oh boy the facial Spa was sooooo good!!! almost 2 hours of pampering the lady gave me massage even on my upper body, my back, shoulders, I thought it was dermabration but it wasn't I got a microcurrent that it suppose to improve muscle tone in face, improve facial circulation, masc, and color therapy that it is red light and blue light, it was good, next time I'm going to get me a body massage:p

Janie sounds like a very lovely day you had with your daughter and the dogs, enjoy your weather, that's just great:p I did get my facial spa it wasn't any sand paper on my face it was all massage and all that good stuff! Of course it was 2 hours away from where we live so it took us all day to get this done, very nice area of Melbourne very nice:)

Julie You are a very busy lady, good for you for doing all those workouts Kick Max BC, Kickbox premix and Heavy bag workout.... a very good combo;) It is very expensive to maintain the cars, last time DH spent 9000 on hes truck because when he went deploy I didn't run the truck for him so of course it was my fault according to him, but to me it was just because he bought an old truck:p good for stretching that's very important too.

Cheryl Ooooh! you did the BC again? what you think, you are going to be sore for the rest of the week?;):D Good for you!! It looks like you are enjoying yoga, I was reading that they are so many types of yoga, even for injured people, that one I would like to do and see if my shoulder get better. which one are you doing? We also have one car here we don't need 2 we are just fine next year we are going to have to sell it, its funny I don't feel like I own anything to me it feels like I'm borrowing only:confused: About my friend they moved to Australia her husband change over the Australian Army so they are permanents here. I did enjoy my spa experience it was my first time and I can easily get use too :p:D It sucks that it rains and it gets cold when you are ready for a good sweat, maybe next week it will get better and your yoga sounds good too, good job!:D

Pam Are you having fun? good!

Today was leg day for me it was a good workout, first I took Sam out for a little walk, he is not allowed to run free in the field yet, he is fine now but I don't want him to start eating trash.... not yet:p So after that I did disc 3 and core from musclemax I was going to do the lower part from that one but I don't want over do my legs because I have another day this week for legs so little by little I'm going to build up my endurance....
DH went to the field this week poor guy its freezing out side at night I hope he get his appointment soon that way he can get out of the field, so even when I miss him this week its going to be an easy one since I don't have to have to cook every night for him, feed the girls its rather easy:D:)
Have a good day everyone!

Rolly and I walked by ourselves today for 30 min. I was working on him to come to me on command. He's doing very well. He was off his leash a lot today. He seemed to have confidence doing that.

Julie, great job on yesterdays BC/KB and today's Stretch Max (Also proud of you). Cars can get expensive at times. But your right, it's necessary.

Cheryl, That's so cool to ride your bike to yoga practice. Can't get better than that. :D

Eunice, How do I get to befriend you on FB? Glad you enjoyed your day at the spa. Sounds so nice. Great job on the little walk with Sam, disc 3, core and MM. Great way to build oup endurance.

Janie

Janie Look for me Eunice Andrews and send me a friend request, I was looking for you I couldn't find you by Janie only..:(

Hi ladies, I'm back but not going to try to reply to all of the posts from while I was gone. I did read them all of course and everyone is really doing great with the workouts! Pikes, yoga, double workouts, yowza!

The weekend was really nice, the shower was beautiful and the bride is so sweet and so appreciative of everything. She got so much great stuff too! It was a terrible weekend as far as food and working out go for me though. Friday night I went to bed and my stomach hurt from eating too much spaghetti and garlic bread. Plus we were baking for the shower that day so there were a lot of little nibbles throughout the afternoon. Then on Saturday, for the shower we had quiche, croissants, watermelon salad for main course and 3 desserts: chocolate peanut butter mousse, lemon bars and flourless chocolate cake. We need a little pink pig icon for me to insert here....That night for dinner we got pizza and I again went to bed with my stomach hurting from all of the food. Ugh. Yesterday was the drive back and it was a little better. This morning I got up and did back and biceps disc 14 since I wasn't able to do it on Saturday. I will try to do Hiit DWP tonight to get caught up, but then we leave again this weekend for a week so I'll be all out of whack again. I was afraid to get on the scale this morning but I was actually down .2 pounds  It's probably just delayed in showing up though, so I'm not going to celebrate unless it lasts all week.

I was in kitten heaven this weekend. Both my MIL and SIL are fostering kittens, so between them there are 8 little kittens up there. One of them they named McLovin, climbed on my lap and laid on his back sleeping. They are so cute. Luckily I made it home without any! :p Have a great Monday everyone!

Pam

This morning was HiiT 30/30 and Ab Circuits Weights & Plates. Man do those plates get you every time!!! We have had severe thunderstorms and torrential rains all last night. Apparently there were 3 separate storm cells that came through the area. I only remember two but I tend to sleep pretty well through storms.

Cheryl So glad you got a nice day without rain and could ride your bike to yoga! Yea!! Is hatha yoga the one where they keep the room very hot? I don’t know my yoga practices very well at all. I kind of wish there was a place near me that offered yoga for a decent price but I don’t see my small town of 400 getting a yoga studio anytime soon!

Eunice Great job on disc 3 and abs from MM! I actually love the legs from Meso 1 so much that I kind of miss them! 10*10*10 is a good one. It is 10 minutes of kickboxing, 10 minutes of hi/lo, and 10 minutes of step. It flies by but is still a good calorie burner. Your spa day sounds fantastic! I would love to have a spa day or a full body massage. It has been 11 years since my last massage and I still remember how great it felt. I keep telling myself I will spoil me some day!

Janie Great job on your walk with Rolly! That is great that you are working on his come command. Oscar is terrible with that one. He hears us but just looks at us like we are stupid if we think he is going to come over there when he spent time running in the other direction. Maggie on the other hand will come with no problems.

Pam Wow sounds like you had a very good time! That’s pretty good that you didn’t gain any weight after that weekend feast (which sounds absolutely amazing but I would probably be right there with you having tummy aches all weekend). Great job for getting disc 14 done! And even better job on not bringing home any kittens with you! It can be so hard to not want to take care of all the animals out there.

Have a great Monday everyone!

Eunice Yep it was BC again. I have another 4 weeks of it. I was sore but no where near as sore as I was after the 1st week. The yoga that I do is Hatha, I have also tried Kundalini yoga which concentrates more on breathing. The spa is a wonderful place and it is easy to get used to it. I am glad that you enjoyed it.

Janie Nice that you can have Rolly off leash. Sometimes that is nice so he can run around more. Riding my bike to yoga is nice. It is a busy road but they have a bike lane which I like. I feel safer having it instead of riding on the road with the cars.

Pam You had a nice weekend. The food sound wonderful even though you had too much. Funny when you are with a bunch of people you always seems to eat way more that if you were on your own. I do the same thing and then go to bed like you with my stomach hurting. Kittens are so cute. I like the name McLovin. I don't know if I could have made it home with at least one more .

Julie Lucky that you can sleep through storms. We have had the torrentail rain but not the thunder. The yoga that they do in the hot room is Bikram yoga. I am not sure if I would like that one or not since I do not do well in the heat. Hatha is more of the gentle stretching. I agree that your small town won't get a yoga studio soon. Cathe has two new yoga workouts coming so that will help you out. Yoga is not cheap to go to at least not around here. Drop in rates are $15 and a one month membership is about $100 depending on the studio.

Well I stayed up too late watching the first episode of the season for True Blood last night . So needless to say I couldn't get up in time to workout.

Have a great Tuesday.

Cheryl
