Strength in Numbers

Oops, forgot to post yesterday. I did do AOLIH on Monday and suffered the most oblique DOMS on Tuesday because of it. Not sure what move(s) in AOLIH did them in but they sure were not happy with me. I was able to do weights with DH on Tuesday night. Yesterday was the first decent weather day we have had in a long time. We actually saw the sun most of the day. Back to rain and storms today though. The fields are full of rivers and lakes.

Pam Great job on AOLIH extreme! I almost did the extreme version but it was DH’s birthday so I wanted to do a quick workout and then spend time with him. Now I am thinking I am glad I didn’t do the extreme given how much my obliques were sore yesterday. Great job on LIC upper body premix!

Cheryl Great job on STS 21, 4DS HIS cardio + yoga abs, Yoga Max, and STS 22! I am feeling a little better about my project. I think I will have it done this week (maybe even Thursday if I am lucky). Of course, right after that is more deadlines to hit. Not that I expect downtime at work but sometimes it would be nice to have a breather in between projects. Great job on RWH Plyo 2 + abs! That one is very tough. I only use 1 riser and figure that leaves me room to grow.

Janie No worries on being MIA! Check in when you can and enjoy yourself, you deserve it! Great job on keeping up with your workouts and activities. You have so much going on and you are doing great with fitting in time for all of it.

Janie I think it's fantastic that you are enjoying life so much. That is what it's all about. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well with your rotation too. No need to apologize when you can't make it here, it happens!

Cheryl I'm ok with the heat. I would much rather have it too hot than too cold. I think it's funny that my long haired cats love to be out on the screened porch when it's so hot out. They sit in the sun and just bake. I am hoping they have enough sense to get water when they need it! Great job on RWH pylo 2 plus abs 1. Those first two rounds in that one really got me the first few times I did it. I couldn't even come close to keeping up with Cathe and the crew with 2 risers the first time. The second time I did those two rounds with no risers and then with one. I usually add the second riser after I finish those rounds!

Julie Great job on AOLIH, that is strange about your obliques, I wonder what did it?! Sounds like it is a very good thing you didn't do the extreme premix! Great job on weights with DH on Tuesday too and belated Happy Birthday to him. I hope he had a good day. I'm glad that you finally got some nice weather. All of the rain has been wild!

Last night I did remember to do the abs from LIC when I got home.This morning I really didn't want to get out of bed, and it didn't help that I knew I had Tabatacise on the calendar and wasn't sure if I was up for it. I did finally drag myself up and did it and it wasn't so bad at all. I didn't even have to pause the player before the 5th round like I usually do. Not sure what that was all about. I certainly wasn't expecting that after having to drag myself up there! Have a great day!

Julie Good job on AOLIH and weights with DH. Ummm I don't know what would have caused your oblique DOMS it was just a surprise bonus :D. I am glad that the sun came out for you for a while anyway. Yuck rain all the time can be a bit depressing. I am glad that you are almost finished your project. Those deadlines never go away do they.

Pam My cats love to be in the sun too. You can hardly touch them they are so hot. I am glad that I wasn't the only one the RWH plyo 2 got. That is one tough workout. Good for you in doing the LIC abs when you got home. Great work on Tabatacise as well when you weren't up for it. It feels good though when it is done doesn't it.

Today for me was STS disc 23 Legs. I really felt this one in the lower back for some reason. After that I did some housework and then we went grocery shopping. It is still hot here but it is suppose to cool down a bit. I am actually looking forward to some cooler weather.

Cheryl Great job on Disc 23 and be careful with that back! It is supposed to be 101 here today but they canceled the heat warning :confused: I am headed to Pennsylvania tonight for the weekend though so I expect it will be quite a bit cooler there.

This morning for me was Athletic step. I hadn't done that one in quite awhile, but it felt like I had because the beginning is so much like TTM. Have a great day!

Total Body Stretching today.

Pam, No, Joe usually has something planned, but tonight he will stick around and maybe sing a few songs and will go to bed shortly after. His bedtime is around 7pm and gets up at 1am. I know... Great job on Athletic Step. I love this workout.

Janie Good job on Total Body Stretching.

This morning I did Hard Strikes without the conditioning drill and added on Core #1. After that I went to my specialist to find out the results of my sleep test that I did last month. So I found out that I have moderate sleep apnea. I stop breathing about 17 times an hour and one of the times I stopped breathing it was for 45 seconds. No wonder why I have been tired. So tomorrow I have an appointment with a respiratory therapist to get set up with a CPAP machine o_O. DH has one of his own so now we will both have one. I really hope this helps and I am able to feel energized when I wake up in the mornings. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Oops forgot to post again. It has been a very busy week and I am thrilled it is Friday although I may end up having to take some work home since my day is full of meetings today. Should make for a fast Friday but not much getting done. Anyway, I did do Ride Express and a walk with DH Wednesday night. Last night was weights.

Pam Great job on doing abs from LIC when you got home! Awesome job on Tabatacise especially when you were dragging a little. That is a nice surprise that you didn’t have to pause the dvd before the 5th round. Great job on AS!

Cheryl Great job on STS 23! Hope your lower back is doing better. I’m with Pam, I love the hot weather. I could take 80s and 90s all year and be happy. I’m cold blooded though and maybe part reptile or cat. Great job on HS with conditioning and core! That is great that you have a diagnosis. Sleep Apnea sounds so scary. My dad has it and has a CPAP machine. He doesn’t like wearing it but likes being able to sleep better.

Cheryl, Great job on HS w/o the conditioning drill and add on Core 1. I had a sleep test done once. I'm borderline for that breathing machine. Wow, glad you found out what was wrong. My sister and neighbors all have CPAP machines. They feel so much better. Keep us posted.

Did STS disc 24 back and biceps. After that I went to get my CPAP machine and got all the housework done. I didn't have a very good sleep Friday trying to get used to the machine. I woke up with big bags under my eyes and I have no energy to work out. We were doing Father's Day yesterday so I had stuff to do to get ready for it. Last night I slept better and we went to the flea market early so I didn't get my yoga in. I got a bunch of plants so I was busy gardening this afternoon. I hope tonight will be a better sleep as I am getting used to feeling like an elephant when I sleep LOL. It is just so sexy and attractive. A lot of people seem to have a CPAP machine now. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Saturday I did Cycle Max Extreme and then DH and I met my family for brunch for Father’s Day. After that we visited some more with my mom and dad at their house. Sunday was weights with DH and then laundry and laziness. My sister got me hooked on Pinterest this weekend and I spent an embarrassing amount of time on it.

Cheryl Great job on STS 24! I actually ended up getting out of taking work home with me which was good since I got into Pinterest. I bet it would take a while to get used to sleeping with the CPAP machine. Hope it gets better with each night.

Julie, Great job on Sat. Cycle Max Extreme and having a good family brunch for Father's Day. Also for Sun doing weights with hubby and doing laundry. Yep, Pintrest is a time gobbler.

Cheryl, Great job on STS disc 24, back and biceps. Glad you are getting a CPAP machine. It takes awhile to get use to I hear. I may need one as well. Need to see my doctor, not breathing well at night and sometimes gasp for air. Wakes me up with coughing. Gardening is wonderful as you know. Enjoy it.

This week in my break between Meso 2 and 3. So I decided to do Crossfire. Wow I hadn't done that one in a long time but I did pretty good. After that I had some running around to do and had to get the oil changed in the car. Then I did some more gardening. Now I am pooped.

Last night I did Tabatacise rounds 1-3. DH did intervals on the treadmill. We were supposed to go for a walk afterwards but he was having some feet problems so we just stayed home.

Janie Great job on BS + LBHW! I’m trying to limit my time on Pinterest as it seems to suck you in and it is hard to get out.

Cheryl Great job on CF! That one is fun and a doozy! Mostly I am pinning pictures of dogs and recipes on Pinterest. Not sure when I will try all the recipes but they sure do look good.

Cheryl[/B\] Great job on Hard Strikes and core 1. Oh wow, that definitely would explain being sleepy. I have heard that they have new CPAP devices that are lot smaller than the original masks that people had to wear. Oh matching CPAP machines, how sweet :). I hope it helps!

The weekend in Pennsylvania was nice, but I did WAY too much eating and way too little activity! I did do Tabatacise on Monday morning to try to make up for some of the excess over the weekend. I got home last night at about 8:30 and this morning I did Afterburn Double Trouble pre-mix. I hope everyone has a great day!

Pam My mask only covers my nose. I know some people had the masks covering their nose and mouth. I tried out one of those masks but I didn't like it. LOL yes I am a sexy and attractive elephant. Good job on Tabatacise and Afterburn Double Trouble.

This morning I did Party Rockin' Step #2. I like that one because it is fun. Then we went to get some paint because I want to paint the bedroom and then put down some laminate flooring. Our place it looking a bit old and it is time for an update. Then I did some yard work. I do think I am going to sleep well tonight.

Pam, Joe plays on the computer and when it starts to get some light, he works on projects outside. I sometimes call him my Vampire. LOL! For eating a little to much and less exercise, you did good with Tabatacise and for doing Afterburn Double Trouble pre-mix. You are doing just fine.

Cheryl, I found out why I was not sleeping well and sometimes gasping for air. I didn't clean my bedding for awhile and with Rolly's awful shedding it made me do that at night. I haven't cleaned my bedding for two weeks and I suffered for it. I learned the hard way to clean at least every week. I'm so embarrassed. Great job on Crossfire. You seemed to have done a lot of stuff! Get some rest.

Yesterday was the first day in a long time where the weather was nice and DH could get some much needed work done in the yard. He mowed, weed eated, cut down a small tree, cleaned the gutters and some other stuff. I told him he did so much he could take a break from working out last night. I did TBT total body express. It was short and effective total body workout.

Pam Great job on Tabatacise and AB DT! Glad you had a wonderful weekend in PA! I am sure it felt nice to have a little break with all the traveling you have done recently.

Cheryl Great job on PRS2! Sad to say, I have never tried to the PRS. Actually I think I tried once when I had a cold but got frustrated and didn’t make it past the warmup. Wow you got a lot done. What color did you get?

Janie Great job on your rest day! So nice to have those. I thin DH's feet are doing better. We will see tonight if he can go for our walk. I am glad you found out why you were not breathing well at night. I was worried when you said you would awaken gasping for air. As much as we love our furry friends, sometimes their fur can wreak havoc on our respiratory systems.
