RT for Tuesday July 10

Today is 20 min. of cardio and ab work.

Don't cha' just love the pictures in Cathe's blog? I don't know which I'm more excited for..new workouts ..or the RT;-)

Good Morning Ladies!

Today I did Step Blast and that is always a fun one for me!:) I sent in my info and picture for the RT book last night. Have you guys done that yet? I have got to buy some more workout shorts for the trip. The elastic is shot in 2 pairs of my shorts and I have to hold them up with a safety pin!!:eek: Not good!

Hi everyone. Yesterday I did 30 minutes of Imax 2 and Gym Styles Chest. Tonight will be cardio and Triceps.

Michelle - I am more excited about the Road Trip but I do love seeing the blog updates. :)
 
Hi!

I just got back from teaching my two in a row morning classes. I still have one more to teach tonight at 6:30. 6&1/2 hours to go. I usually only teach one class per day, but the person who scheduled the summer sessions ( who has no clue) scheduled me this way for the whole summer. Three classes in a day on Tuesdays and two on Thursdays ( plus still another class on Fridays). Plus my heavy weight training and cardio with Cathe and of course my walks... yup, I know!! So, here's some thoughts I wanted to share.

1. I am very sweaty. I mean soaked through the tank to the bra top and I have a syndrome I like to call "Swamp Ass" This especially feels swampy right now since I am sitting here at the computer still soaked... ( I might be over- sharing right now??)

2. I think I might smell. My hands smell like neoprene ( you didn't think I used heavy metal weights for two classes in a row, did ya?)My pits are okay, but I'm pretty sure the rest of me is offensive.

3. I won't admit this in a court of law, but I pretty much kicked my own butt. I am tired ( don't tell anyone)and even a little sore.


Moral of the story: at 41 years old, I taught two really hard classes in a row and did them in their entirety. My second class was with all dancers ( from the conservatory where I teach) and they think I am nuts! And they dance all day every day! Yet I kicked their cute little butts! Ha!! Oh, the moral... I won't know till I teach the third class later today. If I am still alive after, then the moral is, I'm alive but nuts. If I need resucitation, then I'm just nuts! ( Nothing really new about the nuts part, but a good moral anyway?)

Okay, obviously I am delirious and I can't stand to smell myself anymore, so, off to the shower!

P.S. I'm really hoping teaching three classes in one day is preparing me for 4 classes in a day with Cathe! ( It is FOUR classes, right?)

Hi Belinda, Michelle, Gin, Tess and Vickie. Sorry I'm such an irregular poster here. I just don't have the time to post everywhere I would like everyday.

Michelle, the blog is great, isn't it? I can't wait to see the outfits. I wonder if they will be available before the RT.

Gin, I love Step Blast. That and Rhythmic Step are my favorites. I haven't sent my info in yet. I'm getting a haircut tomarrow and have been waiting for that.

Hi Stinky Vickie, yeah 4 classes if you show up for all of them.

Today is a premix from GS Legs. I'm so glad this months rotation focuses on saving time or I'd never get a workout done. Things have been hectic. Tomarrow and Thursday I have plans after work and will be (trying) to get up at 3:30 to fit in a workout. Wish me luck with that!

Randi- Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Hope you're feeling better today.

Liann- Sounds like a wonderful vacation! I wish sometimes my DH would want to do something like that but he hates long car rides.

Lara- How exciting to be shopping for your wedding. Sometimes I wish I could have another wedding (married to the same man of course) there's so much I'd like to do. We were young, clueless, and broke the first time.:)

Belinda- Sounds like a great workout!

Michelle- I find myself checking for new blog updates too often during the day. The new workouts look great.

Gin- I love Step Blast! I still need to send my picture. I think I'll have my DH take one of me today.

Tess- Are you doing the One body part a day rotation?

Vicki- All I can say is: YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Robin- It's always great to hear from you. You're one popular lady!!
Good luck with the 3:30 a.m. workout. I could never do that. I can't seem to function before 9:00.

Hi everyone!

Just a quick check in to try to get back in the habit. I've been so incredibly busy with 2008 investment planning at work, client conferences, HOA drama at the beach, and helping out with the planning for a fishing tournament. . . I haven't really been online much at all. My workout schedule is starting to suffer at the moment and I might just take a break for a while if not for the Road Trip to look forward to.

This morning was IMAX 3 and I plan to do a segment of Stretch Max tonight. That was supposed to be yesterday's workout, but we had a 10.5 hour marathon meeting at the office yesterday, so I was out the door at 7am and not back home until 8pm. Bleh. I hate days like that. Hopefully I'll get back on schedule with my rotation by doubling up on Friday.

Today I did kickmax warm up, blast challenge, sculpting drills,50 calf raises straight, 50 calf raises toes turned out and 50 calf raises toes turned in and Legs and glutes ankle weight work.
Might do abs later

Happy, happy, happy dance. :)

Did ME this morning using the same weights as Cathe and crew!! Woo hoo! This was my pre-furlough goal and I've been working up to it for the last 3 months!

No time to chat. It's 10pm and I have a long drive tomorrow.

RT starts one month from today. Strangely, today is likely to be the last Cathe workout that I do until then. We'll be traveling and I won't always have access to a TV. It'll be running, push-ups, and sit-ups for me.

Hope to stay in touch, but if not, I'll see you in August in NJ!!

Hi again,

I knew I shouldn't post my workout before I actually do it. It's always subject to change:) What I ended up doing was; CTX Kickbox and 10/10/10 cardio, and the ab work from Power Circuit (I really need to work on those planks).

Mona- Sorry to hear your work schedule is so hectic. Hang in there:)

Randi- Great workout! My calves are screaming just reading about it. Sounds like you're feeling better.

Laura- Way to go with ME!! Isn't it great when you reach one of your goals. Have a safe trip tomorrow.

Hello, everyone! I haven't posted here in a long time, but I am still totally looking forward to the Road Trip; and meeting everyone:) I figured this would be a good day to start posting again. (One month to go:D ) Even though I am very busy, just like everyone else, I think about the trip often! I am working out 6 days a week, and doing pretty good with the eating. I'm feelin' good, and will try to post once a day!! Take care, Nancy J.~~~~~
 
Good job on the workouts today everyone! Vicki you are a workout machine! You will definitely be blowing the rest of us (at least me that is) away at the Roadtrip! ;) I ate very clean today until a small piece of coconut cream pie called my name this evening. The good news is that it is no longer in the refrigerator tempting me. Bad news is that I think I just gained 10 lbs from a 10 gram piece of pie!

I plan to get up early tomorrow and do a cardio coach on the bike. It will take all the will power in the world to drag myself out of bed, but I really need some work before the RT!!!

Hello.

No time for personals tonight as it is very late. I have read everyone's posts though:) I had planned a big workout today, but I got some exciting news, and it did not happen. :) One of my good friends has been trying to adopt a baby for over 2 years. They got the call today that a baby was born on the 7th (a little premature) and he would be delivered to them tomorrow or the next day!!! We are so excited for them!! They have wanted this for so long. Obviously, we had to celebrate tonight, so no workout tonight--but it was well worth it to spend time with my friends!!
