Pyramids and Supersets - do I need these?

Oh - thanks. I have that one and just got stuck on Cathe and haven't tried it. I put it in my head to try it soon. Yes, I love SloMo - I am doing the rest of it this week to see if I love it as much as the leg portion. Her moves are just so different. The change is nice for the body. Let me know what you think of it, and APX (now that I know what that means ;)) too. Maybe I'll work that one in next week.
 
The Pyramids are my favorite. I love PUB because I get DOMS from it every time. With PUB I can always use sections of it to add on to another workout or I can use parts of it when I am short on time.


That is great! I am psyched to try PUB especially! I love working upper body so I'm very glad I caved....just don't know what took me so long!

Will do! Hopefully they won't take too long to get here. I'm not all that patient when waiting for a new workout dvd :rolleyes:
 
I like Pyramids, but not as much as GS or 4DS. Supersets I hardly ever use, that having been said, since I had surgery and was not lifting for 6 weeks, I am finding that this DVD is tremendous in getting back into lifting.
 
Tonight I was able to increase all of my weights on PUB! Yeah me:p I am going to give PLB a whirl again, but use heavier weights and see what I think. Not sure if tomorrow will be that or Butts and Guts. Wise purchase, IMO! It is a favorite, and has helped me increase my strength and my arms now look defined more than they ever have.
 
Watch out, here comes the DOMS! I just did PLB this week and increased my weights by 10 lbs over what Cathe does...my legs were fried by the time it got to the floor work.

I'm right at or a little above Cathe for PUB weights depending on the exercise. Hmmmm, who knows maybe next time I'll be able to increase the weights. On biceps I'd like to go up on those but that bicep section is killer!
 
Oh, this is making me WANT to get back to my "regular" workouts. Things are settling down and week after next I should be able to get back into a "normal" routine. I love mixing up my Amy/Cathe workouts. Maybe I will do PLB one week with SloMo upper then do SloMo lower one week with PUB or GS upper using Advanced Step Challenge 2 & 3, Hilo Knockout, HiLo Dome Challenge, In the Ring, and 4DS cardio premixes for cardio. Oh, how I look forward to getting back to my regular workout routine. How I've missed it!!!

By the way, I've sort of rediscovered PP/SS during this time. They are nice and short and when you heavy up, get the job done quickly. The premixes are dreamy as well.

Well done on the weight increase! I can't wait to get started! Have you done the 4DS upper body premix? I found that one really pushed me to go for those heavier weights. I hope PUB will be another gem :D

OUCH! 10 lbs over what Cathe does? Impressive! I haven't had lower body DOMS in a while so I'm looking forward to this! I think to start I will just try to match Cathe, after that I'm looking forward to trying PLB with the weighted vest:eek:

Thanks for the ideas! I've been doing strictly Cathe for weights for a while (started off with Jari Love but like Cathe's heavier weight work better) so it might be nice to switch it up with Amy's strength workouts. I find having some variety in my workouts keeps me interested
 
HI

I have Pyramids, SS and Push pull. I would suggest that you wait until you receive and do STS and then decide. Also with the pre-mixes that are included in Cathe's DVD's you can definitely create and do your own push pull workout and superset workout.
