PYGFO Sisters:

I am officially training for the July Road Trip. Yippee! I am looking forward to a reunion with some of my 2007 Road Trip sisters, but I wish all of us could be together again. I am sure someone will start a new Road Trip check-in soon. I love y’all and want to keep checking in here too.

I booked my plane tickets last night. I have a roomie. All I need to do is make sure my butt will fit in a plane seat for the long flight to Philly. I flew first class on miles last year. I am detoxing from processed junk and fixin’ to start a new rotation in the morning. I am more concerned with how I feel than how I look for this Road Trip. My game plan is to bless my body with nutrient-dense food, pure water, exercise, and restful sleep. On that note, I am wrapping up this day and sending hugs to everyone until tomorrow. Sweet dreams!

Hugs to Carolyn, Gin, Lara, Laura, Liann, Michelle, Randi, Robin, Tess, Vicki, and any other 2007 Road Trippers who visit this thread. Feel free to jump in anytime!

Carolyn, I am looking forward to seeing you in July!

Gin, I am looking forward to seeing wedding pictures! I hope you are “in” for the July Road Trip.

I am hoping to catch up on personals tomorrow after church and respond to all the messages in my inbox!

Blessings,
Heather B.

Heather you made it too!!!Congrats!:) That would have been so cool if we all made it! Would you guys that are going in July go in August?
Today I might do 4DS kickbox and legs. This week is what ever I feel like doing that day rotation:)

Hello.

Today has been very busy. We went to church, ate lunch with DH's parents and my parents , and then went to 2 open houses. We have decided with the new addition to the family that we are going to need more room.
Yesterday was 4DS KB/BC cardio and GS CT. I am a little sore today. I am trying to get the energy to workout now. Not sure what I will do.

Heather...I am glad you are in for July! It sounds like you are all ready to go!

Randi...How long until your cruise?

Gin...I hope the wedding went well. Will you share pictures?

Hello to anyone else. I am hoping to check back in with a workout.

Hi Everyone,

Heather - I absolutely love you post on the RT forum, you know , the one Jerry requested. Just reading it got me all excited and I remember all those emotions and anxieties from going alone last year. I was scared to death, but then I realized that I wasn't the only one feeling nervous. I ended up meeting some fantastic ladies and am looking forward to meeting some more this year.
Are you flying in on Thursday or Friday? Which hotel are you staying at? I am hoping to come up on Thursday and then go to Cathe's Friday am class. My friend from Atlanta is coming also so I need to check her availability on when she can leave. I'm thinking we will stay at the Farifield Inn. Who are you rooming with this year?

Gin - Looking forward to some wedding pictures as well.

Hi Lara - How many weeks are you now? I am so excited for you.

Hello to everyone else.

Hi ladies! Congrats to all of you that made the July RT!!! Now, I am getting nervous again as another sign-up is upon on us - this times it's for me.... Anyone else signing up on Friday??? I'd like to keep this check-in going to Heather.

I will have to come back for personals (have a conference call in a few minutes), but wanted to pop in really quick and say hi. I'll be running on the TM tonight and working out my legs afterwards (if I can stand to after the run). My lower body is really my weak area - not in strength but in looks... I really need to lean out the legs. I have 0 hips and no butt, but then these big thighs come out of nowhere. They must be overcome before summer!!!

Hugs to all you gals!

Hi Girls!

My DH was able to get a spot for me on the RT...#74!! YIPEEEE!!! I am so excited!
We have had a lot of trouble with our computer and he had to go to his office to register! I have not been able to post much either b/c of the computer trouble!x( Repairman today said we need a new modem.

Wedding weekend was wonderful. PM your e-mail address and I'll send a pic of rehearsal dinner. I don't have wedding pics yet. They are so crazy about each other and it was very sweet!:)

No time for personals right now. Later...
Gin:)

Hi, everyone! I haven't posted here before, but I know some of you from the '07 roadtrip! I have a question: What does PYGFO stand for?? Thanks, Nancy J.~~~

Congratulations Gin!!

I was hoping that you were able to get a spot. Sounds like the wedding was a good time for all. Now that the wedding is behind you, you can focus on the RT!!

Can't wait to see you there:)

Hello.

Today was a long work day and then I had to go to an awards dinner with DH and his parents. I am SO tired--I can hardly keep my eyes open. I am hoping for a long workout tomorrow.

Gin...I will PM you. I bet it was wonderful! Congrats on getting in for the RT! I wish I could go too!!

Carolyn...I am 23 weeks. Just one week from the 6 month mark!! It has gone fast. Everyone tells me it will all slow down when I start getting bigger. I still look like I have just eaten a few too many cookies:9 I know I will wake up one day and she will have just popped out and nothing will fit!

Nancy...I remember you! How are you? Are you going on the RT again? PYGFO stands for "Put Your Game Face On"!! A saying we heard a few times on the RT!

Liann...How was your leg work?

I received Tracey's 2 new DVDs today in the mail. Did anyone else order them? Maybe I will try them tomorrow. I also wanted to chime in on Amy Bento. I had a really good customer service experience with her! She is always so friendly and responds so quickly. I ended up with a few free DVDs out of it, too!! Anyway, just thought I would share:)

Have a great Tuesday!

Morning gals. Just a quickie post to congratulate those of you going to the July RT. Have fun.

Gin, I'm glad to see the wedding went well.

Lara, have fun house hunting. I can't imagine moving into a new house during a pregnancy. Take it easy!

I've been doing pretty well following the 4DS rotation. Hope you are all meeting your goals.

PYGFO Sisters:

Good morning! I am feeling like a new creation after 4 days of blessing my body with restful sleep, pure water, nutritious food, and exercise. I am officially training for the Road Trip. I found a pretty turquoise Nike tee shirt on a clearance rack last week and bought it for the Road Trip on faith that I would get in. It fits now but will look better if I firm up the fluff around my middle. I am not pressuring myself to lose a certain number of pounds by the July Road Trip. My game plan is to bless my body with nutritious food, pure water, and restful sleep for the next 12 weeks. My body will naturally look better after 12 weeks of clean living. The number one thing I am doing to prepare for the Road Trip is sleeping restfully before I go. The weekend is very intense, emotional, and exciting. I know that I will likely be too excited to sleep the night before I travel to Jersey, so I am resting now. I am also starting to shop and prepare early so I do not overwhelm myself the week of the Road Trip. I need to find pajamas for the Friday night stretch class. Yes, we are having a pajama party! Fun, fun, fun! I am still a long way from my goal, but I care more about how I feel than I how I look this year. I would love to shed a few inches around the middle so my new Nike tee shirt fits better, but there is no pressure to change. The 2007 Road Trip was a life-changing experience, and I am free from those anxieties about my weight and size. My goal is to feel as good as possible that weekend so I can fully enjoy every minute of the experience. That starts with clean and healthy living now. Fitness is about freedom, not a size!

I kicked off my new rotation Sunday morning with 4-Day Split Higher Intensity Step. I love the chest and back work in this one. I love my slanted risers too. They are so much more stable and secure than the traditional risers for incline work.

I started a new photo album in my PictureTrail for Road Trip outfits. You can see the turquoise Nike tee shirt and my Nike Shox Rhythmics in this album:

Day 4 of this journey was a great one. I woke up early yesterday morning and enjoyed a delightful quiet time of worship and Bible study. I started my morning workout with the 4-Day Split Kickbox cardio and core and wrapped it up with my favorite Butts and Guts leg blast premix.

I booked my hotel room for the Road Trip yesterday morning. I am so excited! I am so happy that Gin is returning again. Yippee! Cathe will have a big group of Texas girls again. I personally know of at least half a dozen.

I put my game face on and returned to my friend’s cardio boot camp class after work last night. It was more like a cardio butt camp class! I was begging for mercy. She had me crying for Jesus during the warm-up! She told me that I was awesome last night, and she was right. I felt so good after getting through such an intense workout that I asked her to show me how to use the assisted pull-up machine after class. Feeling confident, I floated into the fitness center eager to try this toy that Cathe and Chris adore so much. I had this fantasy that it would make pull-ups easy for me, but I was quickly slapped back to reality! I was only able to do 4 dips and 4 pull-ups (with a wide grip)! My trainer set the machine for the heaviest weight of 160 pounds (which counter-balanced my weight and made it feel like I was pulling up 60 pounds). Needless to say, I have some serious strength training to do before STS arrives! My goal is to do 4 unassisted pull-ups with perfect form by my 40th birthday.

This is my rest day. I am looking forward to enjoying a segment of Stretch Max this morning so I can recover from cardio boot camp and get ready to return to the 4-Day Split tomorrow.

Randi, I hope you enjoyed your workout.

Carolyn, I am flying up there on Wednesday and staying at the Fairfield Inn with PennieAnne.

Liann, I am praying you in. Practice those speed typing drills!

Gin, I am so excited that you are in too!

Nancy, welcome to the check-in!

Lara, I am keeping you and your little one in my prayers.

Robin, welcome back! I have missed you. I am enjoying the 4-Day Split with you this month.

Blessings,
Heather B.

Good mid-morning ladies!!!

I also received my two new Tracey workouts so the leg workout went out the door and I did CoreBlast instead. I really enjoyed it and am feeling it today. I hurt all the way around my midsection - abs/back/sides. I even feel it in my butt from this one exercise where you lay on the balance ball and put a medicine ball in between your knees and do reverse crunches just with your legs. There were a few exercises where my DH actually looked like he felt sorry for me (he was doing his own thing). Doing the workout made me sad though that I am not going to get to see Allison and Tracey at the RT. They are going to the July one. :( Oh well... Say hi to Alli for me Heather!

Gin - Yeah, congrats on getting in!!!

Lara - Wow, almost 6 months already! :)

Hi Nancy!

Robin - They are building a new winery down the street from my house. Once it is done, you will have to check it out with me on one of your trips down!

Heather - Isn't it so much fun buying new clothes for the RT??? I bought several new outfits last year and I haven't worn any of them since the RT. They are all folded and ready to go again for this year. ;) I also have my pink gym bag from the RT still packed with some stuff from last year! I'm sorry I will not get to see you again this year. :'(

Hope everyone has a great afternoon! I will either do my previously scheduled leg routine tonight or pull out Tracey's new Circuit Blast.

Heather -

Love the color of your new Nike T-shirt. That's a good idea to start a little RT shopping now. I was so stressed out the week before the RT trying to find the perfect workout outfit. Not doing that again!

I am hoping to fly in Thursday night. Already made reservation at the Fairfield for 3 nights. I am waiting on my friend to let me know when she can go.

Hi ladies

Tomorrow Morning: 4DS bi's and tris maybe abs again not sure
Ok it's only 8pm but i'm going to bed have to get up at 4 to workout.
Take care ladies
Randi

Hi.

Today was LIC mish mosh of lower body circuit, blasts, upper body circuit, and abs. I was feeling very tired when I started working out, but after I got started, I wished I would have picked some more intense cardio. At least I did something--I almost talked myself out of it. DH and I watched American Idol and then I had to type an evaluation. I am ready for bed!

Robin...I really can't either!! I think I am going to use my pregnancy as an excuse to get out of a lot of packing and unpacking!! I know this is not the best time to move, but we still have wedding gifts piled in the office with nowhere to put them. I can't imagine bringing in baby furniture right now!! Glad to hear your rotation is going well.

Heather...How fun to get new workout clothes--especially on sale!! That is a great color! Good luck with your new goals! I am sorry that I will miss the PJ party this year!

Carolyn...Happy shopping!!

Liann...I am glad to read your review of Core Blast. I thought about doing that one today, but think I will wait until the end of the week. Did you try Circuit Blast? I previewed about 15 minutes of it, and then decided I didn't need to sit around anymore because I was getting tired.

Randi...WTG for working out on a busy work day!! Tomorrow is my 8-7 workday. I usually don't have much energy for working out after that--especially being pg!!

Gin...I haven't been able to post as much lately either. My computer was down and DH is always on his!! Thankfully, DH got mine up and running again.

Have a great day!

Liann, whoo hoo for a winery down the street! I'm there.

Last night was 4DS Kickbox etc. Today is a rest day.

Has anyone heard from Laura? Has she left the country? How about Vickie? Is she going on either of this year's RTs?

Robin - I think someone mentioned that Vicki wasn't going to be able to go on either of the RT's this year. :( Haven't heard from Laura in a while but I think she was getting close to going back. I'll let you know when that winery opens! ;)

Last night was a 3 mile run and then a little leg work. I also did some chin-ups on my bar and was so excited when I was finally able to do 3 in a row - a big accomplishment for me. That's 3 controlled chin-ups without swinging legs etc... I have to differentiate cuz' DH gets a little wild on his. ;)

My eating has been very good lately which is actually pretty shocking. I'm sticking to my 6 small meals with NO snacking in between. I can already tell a difference in just a few weeks with how my pants are feeling. I am also starting to see some definition in my arms that wasn't noticeable before. I need to take some measurements to see if this is all in my head or if I am actually seeing improvements. :)

Lara - I haven't pulled out Circuit Blast yet. I may preview it tonight.

Randi - Ugh, split shifts are tough. My dad used to work those. Good job on keeping up with the workouts! ;)

Good Afternoon PYGFOers!

I have had computer trouble and finally got it repaired. I have missed checking in!
Today I ran and then went to a outdoor exercise class that one of the mom's at the pre-school where I teach is putting together. All I can say is...I am used to Cathe's workouts and I now realize how hard she works us!!}(

Heather--I am also so glad that you, my sweet TX friend are going on the July RT!! I love your new pic in the turquoise tee.

Carolyn--I would love to fly in Thurs. also and go to Cathe's Fri. class. My DH will be coming along, so don't know yet.

Randi--So glad you were able to get a spot also.

Lara--Good luck with the house hunting! I can't believe you are 6 months along and barely showing!!

Robin--I think Tess keeps up with Vicki and I don't know if Laura will be going this year.

Liann--WTG on the clean eating and looser pants. Good luck Friday on getting a spot for the Aug. RT!

Gin:)

Hey PYGFO pals! I think I'm going to be joining the July pre-RT festivities on Friday morning. I just realized that I'm off that day, since I'm working the weekend. I'm hoping to get to New Jersey Thursday evening and hook up with some of you. I'm almost as excited as I would be if I were going on the RT. I think what bothered me most about not be able to go this year was missing out on all of you. Cathe and the crew are amazing and the workouts inspiring, but meeting fellow Catheites is the BEST!

Yeah Robin!!! I am so glad that you will be able to be there on Friday morning! I am so hoping that DH ( who will be traveling with me) will not mind my going Friday morning also!!
Gin:)
