Push It

Hi everyone :)

Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's + 100RC Bi's left me...oh how can I put this lightly...not be able to MOVE MY ARMS!!!! Seriously, I've never been in such a bad UB DOMS in my life! I was scheduled to do Cardio Leg Blast yesterday, but I couldn't even pick up a 3lbs weight, so what's the point? I'm not sure, but I feel as though my right shoulder is a bit strained. Not sure if it's DOMS or something worse . I'm laying off the weights for awhile so not to get injured. I think my body might need an early recovery week.

In light of my UB paralyzation :D I will try to do Low Max today just so I can get some LB w/o in.

Stacie
I will take a look at the pic ;).
Glad you liked HS :). Apparently, it's been the least fav w/o of Xtrain so far amongst some reviewers from Collage and VF.
Hope your performance review went well :).

Jennifer
I'm not sure if the crock pot curry fish dish would be a hit amongst super-bowl party watchers. People can be picky with fish and curry. If you know the crowd, and are sure it might be something that they like, then go for it! You can also use chicken, as this might please everyone. Be sure to cut it in pieces and then quickly saute it in the pan on high (don't fully cook it) to create a light brown sear. Then add to the crock pot.
No, Leslie only has w/o DVD's. Cardio Coach much be more of what you are looking for if you want to take the w/o outside.
WTG on finding those heavy hands! That's awesome

Toni
Don't be jealous of my Barre abilities :). I did TB weekly for 1 month remember? I've also been doing barre every month just to try and advance. Once your legs get acclimated to barre, you will notice a difference. It might be slight at first, but everything add's up :).

Heartymax
I'm SO impressed that you can wake-up before 5:00am and do those w/o's!

Have a good Saturday ladies!

Tasha--- my body is wiped from Xtrain. I took a rest day instead of doing All Out. My body is thanking me. Sunday is my planned rest day do I'm not sure if I will make up or rest tomorrow too.

Hello, quick check-in for me today. Yesterday was SuperCuts....loved it!! Very functional workout. Somethings were deceivingly difficult and will take a time or two to master. This workout really reminds me of Afterburn, but without the dread!!

I was not supposed to do Cardio Legs for four weeks because I wanted to rest from high impact for a while, but I'm not going to be able to do it. I MUST do Cardio Legs tomorrow :) I'll switch back to SuperCut the week after that.

Ok, it's 60 degrees here today. We just finished cleaning the garage and now I'm off to check out a spot for Jasmine's BDay party in April. Hope it works out!!

Be back tomorrow for personals....oh and today was a rest day.

Good afternoon everyone! Today was a rest day or The Ride and we chose to do The Ride. We tried to do it at the apartment gym and the experience was a nightmare. There was a man (if you could call him that) using one of the bikes and he was a complete jerk. He was mad for whatever reason that my son was with us. My son was being so good too. He just sat there in the corner playing his DS and wasn't making any noise at all. The man grabbed the remote, kept it in his hand the ENTIRE time, and turned up the TV as loud as it would go even though he had head phones on. He got mad too when I used the treadmill next to him. We were both getting headaches from the noise of the TV so my neighbor asked him to turn down the volume. He said that he would if "kid would quiet down". Can you believe the nerve? My neighbor pointed out that he was being quiet and he finally lowered the volume. Then when he was done, he got off the bike and left it all gross and nasty -- no wipe down at all. He got pissed off that Tyler was in the corner where he wanted to do weights and started making comments about it being a gym not a daycare. We were the only people there and Tyler was just in one little corner...there was plenty of room for everyone. We finally just left and went to the gym at my office since we couldn't find anywhere to set up the DVD player and because the guy was being such an a-hole. I admit that I was bad and made my own negative comments about him and I'm sure he heard them (in fact, I was hoping for it) but he really ticked me off with his crappy attitude. Anyway, next time we will just go to my work gym. It was much more pleasant there and the overall quality of the gym is nicer too.

All told, today's workout was 30 minutes on the treadmill with inclines up to 8 and walking speeds up to 4MPH with the first premix of the Ride. Last night we did Bi's and Tri's with Core #1 so I have a good burn pretty much everywhere right now. I totally agree that X-train is exhausting my body. When we got back, I slept for 3 hours! I admit it felt heavenly since I have been staying up until 1-2:30am working! :D

Natasha
Wow! That's some serious DOMS! I hope you feel a little bit better tomorrow! I love DOMS but being that sore would freak me out too.

HeartyMax
Enjoy your rest day!

Toni
I felt the same way about Supercuts! I can't see how much dread with that one because the moves are fun and the music is great. Were you staying away from high impact because of the hip? Maybe it will be ok to do Cardio Legs since it's feeling better.

Have a great day everyone and sorry for the rant about the psychopath at the gym!

Happy Sunday fit ladies :)

Yesterday I did Cardio Leg Blast without weights. I did not want to risk injury and let my UB recover. It was on the easy side (of course  ) but I found it to be pretty fun. For some reason, I still think Plyo Legs is more challenging, but I'll have to re-assess once I've actually done it with no modifications.

Can I be honest about something? I'm a tad bit disappointed that Cathe did not include a heavier leg routine in Xtrain -- kinda like along the lines of 4DS-ish or Gym Style. I know I can use heavier weights in Cardio Leg Blast and Legs + Rear Delts, but it's not the same :(. I still love both workouts, I just wanted a little more "heavy" to balance out the UB heavy. Am I making any sense here?

What a beautiful warm day out we had! I went for a 2 mile walk with Bella to enjoy it :).

My UB DOMS is almost gone and so is my right shoulder strain. My w/o of the day is undecided. I still think I need to lay off the weights for a bit and recover more.

Stacie
That dude was a complete a$$hole! Ahhh man, I have no idea how you managed to keep such composure . I hate it when people act is if they are the center of the universe . Poor Tyler too :(. He was being such a good little boy.
Ya, I don't like that extreme DOMS. I'm not that psychotic ;).

Heartymax
Enjoy your recovery days! You are really good at listening to your body. I like that you hold back when/if you have to. Actually I noticed everyone on this check-in is very good at that. I see some people push through injury, illness, pain, and wonder is it really worth it?

Toni
Where are you holding Jasmine's b-day party this year, if you don't mind me asking? Near my home, we have several locations that fulfill the "princess desires" of your little girl :). It's a princess tea party with costumes, snacks in a "luxury" dining room (with real china!), hair, nail, make-up, all done. I was invited to one a few years ago and was blown away! Bella was still very little, so she was not really "into it". I was afraid she was going to pick-up the china glassware and smash it on the floor .

Have a great day ladies

Good Morning,

Les Miserables is a good movie; a bit long, but it's good. I've never seen the play but the girl I went with had seen it a hundred times and even she said the movie was great. Some of the cast have amazing voices! Everyone's acting was great.

This morning I did All Out LI HiiT (All Out Cardio premix - which was perfect); I took my rest day yesterday.

I love Hard Strikes, especially using my hand weights. It's different than KPC and Kick Max, but I love the cardio and the low impact aspects of it... I do wish there was a premix for Double Strikes Cardio or something but I didn't find one... Instead I have to just start the DVD from the beginning again - not a big deal, and I guess I don't mind redoing the warmup. I'm just mentioning it because every premix under the sun is practically offered with Xtrain:D

Tash,
Incredible DOMS - wow!
I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself!
I think I will try the 100RC with Triceps after my next Bi's/Tri's workout.

Thanks for the tip on the fish/curry. Chicken might actually be a better Superbowl selection.

Cardio Coach - that sounds familiar. I think it came up in an OD once. Thanks again for your help:)

Stacie,
Sorry about the Broncos. Peyton Manning showed a lot of class when he congratulated the QB on the other team.

OMG - what a jerk that guy was, especially since Tyler was being so good! I don't blame you for strongly voicing your opinions. I'm also sorry it required you to go somewhere else for your workout.

Heartymax,
Wanna do 100RC Triceps after the Bi's/Tri's workout that's later this week? I'm going to see if THAT will fry my Triceps... although I'm afriad of what happened with Tasha's Biceps experience:eek:

Toni
WTG on cleaning out the garage and taking advantage of the 60-degree weather!
BTW, I didn't find the impact of Cardio Legs to be bad at ALL. I hope you find it to be fairly joint-friendly as well.

Have a beautiful day!

Stacie,
I forgot to answer your question... I didn't notice AB being in the Xtrain/LIS rotation but I agree, that might be a good one to do next.

After becoming familiar with Xtrain I'm sure will probably substitute some of the LIS stuff for Xtrain or other Cathe workouts... Cardio Supersets and Low Impact Challenge are not my favorites so I can see myself subbing with something else.

Jennifer---yes, I am in---let's do the tricep challenge. Tri's definitely didn't burn like the biceps. I hope I have my replacement DVD by then.

Tasha--- I've noticed several comments about wishing for heavier leg workout. I haven't done Legs yet so I can't comment.

Stacie-- what a total jerk that guy is. It obvious that he doesn't like kids or then again---unhappy with his own life.

I made DS10 some fried pickles today and he said they were just as good ad the ones he had at the restaurant last month. I guess that recipe is a keeper.

Today was Cadio Leg Blast. Man oh man did that workout wipe me out!! My entire inner thigh is on fire. I think this is because its the weakest part of my leg right now. There were only two cardio moves I couldn't get through, so I felt good about that. I also did the hip thrust challenge. I also did it on Friday. I started with a 20lb barbel, but had to drop back to 15lb. Today I got through all of it with the 20lb barbell. I'll add one lb per week until I hit that same 30lb that she has in the video. I really hope this rounds out the bottom of my booty. I feel like that's the last piece that needs work.

I'm seriously considering getting a spin bike. I feel like I need more kick butt low impact options. The concept of spin DVDs sounds like it will work for me. I don't use my elliptical much because I can only do it if I have something to watch on TV. I don't watch much TV, so that just becomes a chore. But if I can pop in a spin DVD, that may work. The bikes are pricey. It will take me all year to save for it. And I figure if I don't decide to buy one, I'll just have a chunk of cash sitting there. Can't really go wrong with that :)

Jennifer
You are right, the impact in Cardio Legs isn't bad and it helps that there are some lower impact moves in there. Do you mind me asking what type of spin bike you have and how much it costs? Do you have any other spin DVDs besides Cathe?

Tasha
Jasmine's BDay bash will consist of a Limo ride to and from a place called Hands on Pottery. They will be able to pick out and paint a piece of pottery to take home. I got a super good deal on the Limo ride and the pottery piece is on par with any typical BDay party. The party IS the present, so I'm pretty much done after I pay for all that. Oh and of course there will be a sleep over to follow!!

Stacie
I was staying away from the high impact because of my knees. They feel a bit achy lately. I don't like to feel like an old lady so I try to make sure that I'm not too hard on them during workouts.

HeartyMax
I also feel like these workouts are really working the body well. I could feel Cardio Legs Blast all over my entire body today, not just legs. I've been trying to get in some extra stretches and some foam rolling to make sure my muscles stay loose and to help with DOMS.

Yesterday's w/o was Rhythmic Step :D. I don't think Cathe could have a made a more perfect complex step workout -- besides Step Blast of course which to me is #1 :).

Wow, my legs are surprisingly sore from Cardio Leg Blast. I used NO weights for heaven's sake!

I had my aunt, uncle, and cousin over yesterday. We ordered take-out pizza for dinner. Man, it was delish :p. I only had 2 slices, but that already felt really heavy in my stomach. I can tell right away that my body is not accustomed to cheese laden bread and all that gooey, yummy, deliciousness :(. DH says I eat too healthy and my body see's the food as a foreign object. Oh so funny dear husband :D.

Toni

Great idea for Jasmine's party! It gives me some idea's for when Bella get's a bit older :).
I have wanted a spin bike for the longest time! I love biking, and I know I would ADORE spinning. I heard the initial crotch soreness is pretty bad  but once you get used to it, it becomes a great w/o!
BTW, if you get one, the green-eyed monster in me will come out :D.

Heartymax
I love heavy leg workouts :(. It was the missing puzzle in really leaning out my legs. But for most people it seems, don't like to train heavy for the LB as they are afraid it will make their legs too bulky.

Jennifer
I have never seen Les Miserables. I have seen Phantom Of the Opera (in play) about 3 times. It was phenomenal!
Ya, I was not a fan of that DOMS. I was not sure if my right shoulder was injured -- it was an odd feeling. I feel 100% now, so I guess I'm ok :).
I was really taken with Hard Strikes :). I can't wait to get those Everlast Gloves!

Have a great day ladies!

It's Monday  Back to work and not lovin' it. However, I am thankful to be employed :) Today was BS CBS + 100 rep lat raise w/ 3#. I was going to do core with it, but I just didn't have the energy. The other thing about these workouts is that they seem to be surprisingly good at sneaking in core work even when it's not a core workout. Love that!! I liked BS CBS. I haven't done heavy lifting in a while and I forgot that I really like it. Something empowering about being able to lift the weight and plan for increases. Reminds me of my P90X days. Now I MUST go back and do STS, but I honestly think I will skip Meso 1 and just do 2 and three. I was able to do chest presses with 16# and flys with 15. I will be increasing that next time. FINALLY get to use my pace weight :) Shoulders were not bad. I used 5 and 6 lb for the moves. I really love the one arm lateral moves. My shoulder is weak with that move so it's nice to be able to work on that!! Back was also go and I'm feeling it now. That muscle all down my spine is toally fatiuged. I see icy hot in my future today!!

I made my second quiche today!! LOVED IT. Today was a little red onion, cheese, spinach, mushroom, and red pepper. Sooo good. I seriously could have eaten the entire pan. And the flavors of it totally make me more hungy!! I think it's the salt, not sure. It's actually a perfect dish to have water with, which is something I would NEVER say about any other dish!!

My Vitamix comes today. Def going to be a green smoothie in my diet today!!

Tasha
Your body rejecting grease is not totally a bad thing!! I am really going to concentrate on cleaning up my diet as a lifestyle change this year. I have the workouts under control, now on to the eating!!

Good morning ladies! Last night's workout was XTBSCBS. The burnsets nearly killed my neighbor...and I mean that in a literal sense. We were doing Core #1 and she started feeling super dizzy and whoozy. She nearly passed out. I made her take in lots of deep breaths and drink some juice. That helped but she still didn't feel very good. Today she said she still feels tired and out of sorts. I think it was over exerction. It was really weird that it happened during the core work rather than the weights. I was keeping a close eye on her during the weights for over exerction but thought we were past the danger zone when we got to the core work. Obviously that was a bad assumption! Today I will make her take a rest day and I will split up the burnsets into daily workouts rather than one long one. Hopefully, this will help.

I had some bad luck today. The battery died in the car! I don't know if the cold killed it or if somehow one on the lights was left on. Unfortunately, the won't shift into neutral so I can get it out of the garage to be jumped. Instead, my neighbor is going to give me a lift to Sears to but a portable battery jumper. Another bad luck was that my boss sent out an email requesting 55-60 hour work weeks for the next 10 days :(. Egads will I be glad when this deadline is over.

Toni
The bday party sounds awesome! I am sure the girls will love it!
I'm a big fan on quiche too. Thanks for the OD post...I can't wait to try some of the recipes too!

Tasha
Phantom on the Opera is sooo amazing! I can't wait to see it again!

RS is a fav of mine too...except for that last combo. I still have trouble with it.
Is your DOMS completely gone now?

BTW, I tried one of Jamie E's recipes on BodyBuilding.com and it was delicious! It was the protein carrot cake one but I modified it to use bananas instead since I didn't have carrot baby food. The result were little bars that taste pretty similiar to banana bread.....very yummy!

I was surprised too by the low weight leg workouts.

Jennifer
My neighbor really wants to see Les Mis. To be honest, I am not that big on musicals but your never know...maybe I will love this one. People all say it's really good!

HeartyMax
I don't think I have ever had fried pickles. It's always awesome though to find a recipe that taste like restaurant quality items.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi!
My buns and thighs have DOMS today :D
It was Sunday's All Out Cardio premix that did it!

This morning was XTrain's C/B/S. It's my second time doing this DVD but it's the first time I did the entire thing. I skipped the last set of pushups, though. And I stuck with regular pushups for the reach-tap-pushups.

Heartymax,
Awesome - glad you're in for the B/T/100RC T!:) It's fun that we're doing the same rotation:cool: If I remember correctly we still have Ride and Supercuts before we get to it, though.

Congrats on nailing that recipe! I've never had fried pickles - were they dill ones or Bread/Butter pickles? Just curious.

Toni,
I have a Stamina CPS Indoor Cycle (Black, Yellow). I bought it on Amazon for about $550. There are less expensive models, and there are more expensive models. Honestly, my husband is the one who picked it out and read the reviews and comparisons of other bikes. I like it just fine. I've been to a few spin classes and my bike is just as good. I'm not a regular spinner, though, so I don't have a lot of experience with other bikes. Good point - have a bike or have the money, it's a win/win:cool:

I had to buy new pedals for the bike because it didn't have the shoe clips for my spinning shoes... the shoes really make a difference in the workout; they are not absolutely necessary but they make the workout more effective.

I don't have any other Spinning DVDs but I know there has been an OD about them in the past - there seem to be quite a few out there.

Sounds like a very nice treat for Jasmine and her friends:) For their breakfast you can make quiche and green smoothies for them:D

Stacie,
What a bummer - car not starting and not able to even get a jump. At least from now on you will always have a portable battery charger. Craig has one for his motorcycle - it's pretty convenient! But I'm sorry you had to deal with that, and also try to get in tons of hours at work.

I wonder what was up with your neighbor - I'm glad she's okay.

By the way, the story line is very interesting in Les Mis; you really might like it.

Tash,
So sorry to hear about the pizza! Hubbys say the *cutest* things, don't they?!;)
I can relate to that, though... the last couple times I had cake/frosting I got really bad heartburn and felt really sick to my stomach. I'm sure it's because I'm not used to that stuff anymore.

I have always wanted to see Phantom of the Opera but haven't:mad: I'll have to make a point of watching it - hopefully this weekend!

Isn't it interesting how Cardio Legs gets ya'?! I haven't done the regular Legs/Rear delts DVD yet. I wonder where that is on my rotation - I might need to move some things around. Anyway, I noticed my legs felt tired after Cardio Legs.

So glad you're feeling better! Are you using weights with Hard Strikes until you get your gloves? Did you see the OD post about Pe-ew? That was funny:D Hopefully you won't have to deal with that.

Gotta go - have a great day!

I was rushing this morning and didn't get a chance to post. I did Chest, Back and Shoulders today. I used my wrist weights this week to increase my chest flys to 16 1/2. I hate chest flys and I know i have said that a million times. I kept the weight at 25lbs for the chest presses. I did the challenge at the end but now i am trying to remember what it was----hey that was this morning:D. I think it was 10 degree tilt raises of some sort. Anyway, I did a total of 55 using 5lbs weights.

Jennifer-- I used dill pickles. DS10 absolutely loved them. My DS14 even ate some. DH doesn't like pickles but he taste one anyway. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer sometimes in December when we went out to eat dinner one Saturday. I figured I was going to be wasting my money on an appetizer and DS would not like that. I was wrong, he ate them and has talked about them often so I decided to see if I could find a recipe and make some at home. Who knew that I would get it right the first time.

Stacie---I can understand your neighbor being wiped out. Trust me---Xtrain had me totally exhausted and I needed my rest days this weekend. My body was screaming...NOOOOOO!!!

Toni---my mouth is watering reading about your quiche. Sounds so yummy.

Tasha---I admit that heavy leg work is what leans out my hips and thighs. Nothing has done the trick like MESO 2. It does wonders for me along with making sure I work my legs once a week. It is hard getting in two days a week but I can imagine the impact that would have.

This morning was 50 minutes interval workout on the elliptical. I got my replacement Burn Sets DVD yesterday. I need to test it out first and did send the other one back. I am excited about my workout tomorrow---it is Super Cuts. I haven't done that one yet so I am super excited:D.

Yesterday's w/o was Super Cuts + 2 Mile Walk. Super Cuts was AWESOME . Definitely a w/o I foresee myself doing weekly :D. No dread, no repetition, fun moves, great music. You can't get any better than that :D.

Heartymax

For some reason chest fly's strike some fear in me as well. I know I can go over 20lbs, but most times I am afraid to stress my shoulder joint. Chest presses w/the barbell is where I really like to go heavy . If I had a spotter I would be testing the waters within the #70's range.

Jennifer
YAY for buns & thighs DOMS!!!! One of the ladies at my other check-in suggested a Cathe padded toilet seat cover :D.
No I did not use weighted gloves for HS. I want to get those Everlast Gloves. The smell really depends on the facility from where they were manufactured and packaged. It has nothing to do with the store you purchased it from. That's why some smell and some don't. When I was working at the drugstore, we had several items (mostly holiday novelty decor) shipped from China, and sometimes the boxes stunk of pure garbage .

Toni
Have fun w/your Vitamix today! Let us know what you make first :p.
It's amazing how much clean eating will give you fantastic results. Yes, you need to exercise to get results obviously, but the food is what really transforms those muscles. I rarely do abs (you know I hate core work) and here I am getting a flatter stomach and muscle definition. If you can swing it, eat egg whites (and lots of em!). I got that tip from bodybuilding.com

Stacie
Oh NO, I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor :(. How is she today?
And your car battery dying too . What a bummer :(.
I'm sorry about the long requested work hours :(. Make sure you get as much sleep as you can!
I really like Jamie E's recipes! The chocolate protein cake was yummy :p. Have you made the Turkey Mini Meatloaf's? Her body is smokin' hot . She is so pretty too :). I love her hair and make-up; the way she sweeps her liner upwards. LOL I notice these little details .

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning,
I still have DOMS right where it really counts but I still did RIDE this morning. I was sucking wind and a sweaty mess; when I got off the bike I was walking SO funny:D I stretched out extra long after that.

Tash,
Nice workout - Supercuts and a 2mi walk;)
70# chest press - you are wonder woman! I know you could do it - when Mark can spot you of course;)
I am going to have to check out Jamie E since you're in love with her:D Totally kidding, by the way - but seriously, sounds like another good place to look for recipes.
Cathe padded toilet seats?! That is awesome! I for sure would buy one!
oh - good point about different distribution places resulting in different scents... hopefully yours won't come from China:eek:

Heartymax,
I'm glad you received your replacement DVD; I wish you luck!
As for the flys, 16.5# is impressive! That's the way to pump that iron!

Take care, ladies

Good afternoon ladies! No workout last night. I gave my neighbor the night off and I just worked because I had hours to make up. One of my friends stopped by and took us out to dinner and gave me a ride to the bank which was nice of her! Totally blew my good eating habits but it was nice to see her and her roommate! It felt like it had been forever! Tonight will be KickMax with leg conditioning drills, bicep burnsets, and HC Getting Started.

I was able to get the car started today! Hooray! After I type this, I am running to the auto parts (keeping my fingers crossed that car starts again) to buy a new battery. Hopefully, it will solve that problem unless of course it's really the alternator that's at fault. I am going to think positive thoughts though and assume it's the battery since I can't even remember when it was replaced last.

Update on the neighbor: She seems to have recovered and is feeling better. Her sons feel it was dehydration and I think they are right. I googled what happened to her and it pointed to that unless she has some heart condition that she doesn't know about. I am going to have to make her drink more water while she works out. We were talking about it yesterday and it is true that I usually drink 2-3 times the amount of water she does during our workouts.

HeartyMax
Hooray for getting the new disc! I hope it doesn't have any problems. Enjoy Supercuts! That's one of my favorites from the new series.

Tasha
On the topic of chest presses, I find I can go heavier with the barbell vs the dumbbell. Do you notice the same thing?

The recipe I made the other day was the first Jamie E. one. I was happy it was good. In all honesty (and maybe I should type this very small font! ;) ), I have tried several of the healthy recipes posted on this forum and I didn't care for them. They were ok but not very tasty IMO. I really liked Jamie's though. I agree with you that she is super pretty. Jamie seems so sweet and like the girl next door!

Jennifer
Yay for the Ride! I thought doing that workout was way better than just doing the exercise bike on it's own. I would like to try out Cycle Max one day too.

Have a great day everyone!

Hello :) Today was MMA Fusion. LOVED IT!! When I previewed it, I thought that's not too bad...a nice recovery workout. But man, that workout is tough!! The moves require a lot of your body which really elevates the heart rate!! And me trying to do some of the moves was a bit laughable!! It will take me a bit to get a couple of them, but I really liked the workout. Made me want to get Rush Fit!! We will see, I'll be doing XTrain for 12 weeks so I have plenty of time to decide!! I was going to do another rotation with HC because I really like the way it tightens my entire mid section, but workouts that have the core embedded in them seem much more efficient in terms of the workout hours I have. Decisions...decisions!!

Tasha
How is it that you do not like core work  Usually if I don't like something that means that I need to do it...hehe. Pushups are totally that exercise for me. I'm going to force myself to do them where ever I find them in XTrain even if it's only on my knees. I usually whimp out and skip them

Stacie
That is one long workout you've got planned!! Glad your neighbor is feeling better!!!

Jennifer
Funny enough I haven't had many DOMS at all after these workouts. It seems that I get my DOMS the day that I do the workout and my body is completely tired and then I'm fine by the morning....weird!!

Tasha
I really like SuperCuts also. I can work so much harder when I know I only have to do an exercise one time. It makes a HUGE difference.

HeartyMax
I may have to try those fried pickles!! They sound good!!

Oh oh oh....today was MANGO SALSA in the vitamin. It was SO good. Very refreshing. I need to find some whole grain pita bread....it would be awesome with the salsa!! I need to tweak it a bit, but I'll def be doing this again. Funny thing is that I would have NEVER tried to make mango salsa without a vitamix. But you totally don't need something as high tech as a vitamix to make it. Any food processor would have been just fine. But now that I've spent so much money on it, I HAVE to make fresh whole foods with it. So it's sort of turning into my enabler to eat better :) I'll be trying some carrot raisin muffins and some cheddar bacon soup this weekend. I'm going to try to do three recipes a week just to get myself used to how the machine works. It's still a bit intimidating for me.
