Plyo Legs Did Me In

I previewed Plyo Legs a couple of weeks ago, doing just the plyo work as a quick HIIT workout for cardio. Today it came up on my official rotation and I kid you not, it nearly killed me.

First I paused a bit between exercises.

Then I started cutting down some of the plyo reps.

Then I cut down some of the weight reps.

Feeling faint and ready to barf, I had to actually quit and watch from my passed-out position on the floor as the rest of the crew did the 4 remaining exercises.

My hat is off to the STS crew and the rest of you who made it through that workout. I'd like to blame it on the fact that I donated blood on Sunday, but it's Wednesday! :eek:

Lori I feel your pain. I did the 2nd plyo legs today. I was kind of dreading it because the first plyo legs was hard. I got into and was doing fine. We got to the last 6 exercises and I started modifying and cheating. Just call me a big ole cheater. Yes mam! I got it all done to the best of my ability. I swear Cathe and crew are made of solid muscle and have hearts that must have a RHR of 1 beat per day. Thought I was gonna die. But here I am telling my pitiful story. Just think, I'm gonna do it all over next week and the week after that.....then I'm done, Yay!! :D

I just did plyo legs 1 (meso 3) for the first time this morning. I was speechless for a while afterwards (partly because I was still catching my breath!). This was a really tough cardio workout for me, along the lines of 30/30 but longer! Hats off to Cathe and crew. Thanks again for a great workout and keeping us humble. :)

I'm getting scared! At least I'm only starting Meso 2 on Monday, so I'll have plenty of time to forget all of this before I get to plyo legs!

i did plyo legs on sunday, i'm still having a hard time sitting on the toilet LOL. Its a killer but i love how i feel afterwards. Makes me feel super strong.
 
Meso 2 legs are not much better. Those tri-sets are KILLER! I have done STS 2 times, once as 6 mo and once undulating. I had serious DOMS after Meso 2 legs every time. I am starting the new STS/Shock Cardio Rotation and I am not looking forward to Meso 2 legs at all!!!
 
I just did the 1st Plyo Legs this morning. Even though I previewed the workout beforehand, I had no clue what I was getting myself into! I can usually supplement any STS workout with HIIT following soon after....yeah SO not the case this morning! OWIE!!!!
