Please!! SNM...some sort of update on LM&R

I only use DVDs. Not interested in the live /streaming.
Especially like having chapters because I can mix workouts the way I want any particular day.

. This delay is quite frankly frustrating because I was one who prepaid months ago.
It certainly seems questions and replies used to happen much faster in past years.

Wishing everyone a good day . October is almost a memory now.

I’m not planning to use them until the new year and I don’t necessarily mean January first.

Will this be the last Cathe DVD series? I don’t know and I can’t do anything about it.

I’m just all done sweating the small stuff, although I paid day 1 of the presale as a show of support.

I’m going to enjoy my workouts and be pleasantly surprised when I get the shipping notification.

I hope it's not the last series as Cathe has that filming studio - might as well use it. I much prefer the professional overall look of the production series compared to the LIVES. My concern is that content may no longer be chaptered nor include premixes as the downloaded LIVES don't. That would be a huge loss in quality. But as there's no announcement, it makes no sense to fret over a hypothetical that may not come to pass. And as you say, we don't have any control nor say in it, so we'll just have deal with whatever the future brings.

And continue to enjoy what we've collected over the last 3+ decades :) . [My goodness, that's a long time to have produced workouts - we've been fortunate!]

We don't necessarily have to do the workouts within few days of the shipping alert. #just saying!
I just really want to savor this set. Once I get a shipping notification I’ll review the information on the set, the clips and the equipment I’ll be using.

Hopefully it won’t be too long after that the User guide is available to enjoy. If it’s ready in December it will be my exercise version of the old Sears Christmas Catalog - anyone remember those?

I’ll take time to transition from my current workouts while I anticipate and maybe preview. Then I’ll be ready to truly enjoy what Cathe worked so hard to create.

I want this to be my gift to myself after the hustle bustle of the holidays.

Definitely trolls!
Oh, I know…another troll lover I assume….. I even had a “troll house” :). The trolls
nowadays aren’t like the trolls I had. A little neighbor girl was having her 8th birthday
not too long ago and brought me an invitation to her party. Her mom said she loves
trolls! So off to Walmart I went in search of “anything trolls”. And I was shocked that
the trolls I guess that are popular now were different. So I got her one, but lo & behold,
I found a troll just like the ones I remember, only a bit bigger…so to sum it up, she
got 2 trolls! Plus A troll activity book, crayons…:). Her mom said she absolutely loved
them…trip & $ well spent…

Great Troll story! Yes I loved Trolls and that Troll house. One summer my Aunt bought me a little troll and a metal box and a variety of different colored felt squares. She showed me how to make a troll wardrobe out of felt. I was in troll heaven. :)

This is unfortunately seeming to be par for the course anymore with their releases.

Their lack of communication is confusing. I know they're capable of it. They come on here to advertise sales all the time, after all, and send out sales newsletters every week.

Where this forum is concerned, it is pretty sparsely monitored for questions. Yes, they do come in and answer on occasion, but it's not on a regular basis. I'm under the impression there's maybe one or two people who've volunteered to check the forums and they go a long time without checking and then eventually go "Oh crap! I need to check the forums! Shoot... they're getting mad over there..."

I've held my tongue for the most part because I've got the streaming/live subscription, which automatically gives me access to all her new workouts when they come out. I don't quite feel the sting of paying a bunch of money months and months ago and not receiving my purchase and/or few updates about what's going on. There's just a different psychology to it for me, at least.

But I do wish they'd reevaluate their customer service and who's in charge of monitoring all their lines of communication. Their CS team, if they don't already, should perhaps have access to all her social channels, including the forums, and it should be part of their daily routine to check all channels for questions and then respond. Even if it's to say "We're still running behind. We acknowledge you're frustrated and appreciate your patience."

If I were a new customer to Cathe, I'd probably be worried I'd been scammed and that I'd never see my money again.

However, I do know Cathe and crew will eventually deliver. It's just perplexing to see they come here to advertise sales and specials but rarely acknowledge people's questions. Even if it's the same question over and over.

Fingers crossed we finally get to use these workout next month.
I agree with everything you said. I had stop purchasing pre order items because of the delays with nearly everything I’ve ever order. What keeps me coming back is the effectiveness of her workouts. I believe the long pre order process is a tactic to boost sales before going to production. As long as customers like us keep buying this way, they’ll keep doing it. Now, having said all of that, there is a terrible supply chain problem in America and has been since the beginning of COVID.

Good points. I used to not preorder an entire series, just the individual workouts I thought I'd use (except the original STS). Then we ended up purchasing almost every dvd in the series over time. So then we thought we'd be better off purchasing the entire series in the preorder phase, so since LITE that's what we did. STS2.0 was 2 months past due; so is this one. There are some STS2.0 workouts I seldom use; I'm concerned that will be true for this one also.

So I'm going back to not doing the pre-sales to avoid the angst of the delays & lack of communication. I would never put up with this from any other contractor I did business with & neither would most people - obviously there are die-hard Cathe fans who are OK with it, but I'm not one of them. I'll order individual dvds/workouts that I'm pretty sure I will use regularly. I'll search reviews for the workouts I'm leary of. The good news is that with coupons, daily deals and sales, you can often get the workouts post-production for almost the same price as the pre-sale. This is my plan for the future to reduce my disappointment in Cathe/SNM's presales & I will still get the workouts I want. I have less stress just having this as a plan. :). I still love Cathe & enjoy her workouts and hope to continue to do so - just no pre-sales of an entire series anymore.

I absolutely agree-100%----Cathe is my "fav" and my #1 go to...but I have decided I am not one that should
be pre-ordering any longer...doesn't mean I won't purchase, just that I won't be jumping on the bandwagon
on Day 1.......I still would love to see the final 2 clips we haven't seen, Low Impact Bonus & Anytime Mobility
bonus.....since we have seen clips of all the other bonus workouts, these were 2 of the ones I was interested
in...

I preorder DVDs and order fitness products from Cathe to show support. She’s the only one of my top fitness instructors who still produces DVDs. What she produces is still (IMO) world class.

Her premixes allow me so much freedom to meet my body where it’s at and where it’s at changes frequently as I continue to age.

Maybe I’d feel differently if I actually had real internet and a computer, but I think it’s more likely that I’ll be supporting her for the long haul - ordering on day 1 of her preorders. My Cathe Christmas wish is that she’s pondering the plan for her next set of DVDs as these come to completion.

We've been speculating on this too! She may take a little break, or she may surprise us! :)

I know I'll continue to support Cathe/SNM, just not with pre-sales on a whole series. Even Cathe tells us if we're uncomfortable with the long wait with no guarantee of a delivery date, to not preorder -I'm following her advice ;) . They'll still get my $$ though, no fear. I enjoy her workouts too much to boycott. :)

Yes, it’s a dilemma whether to preorder full set, price is always super good, or to wait
for individual dvds…..especially if you don’t think that maybe you will use everything.

I remember when Boss Loops/Bands preorder started, I, of course, ordered dvds and
all bands/loops. Then I thought about it, because I had already purchased fabric loops
& bands, so I cancelled that preorder & reordered just the 2 dvds and when received,
used what I already had. Then down the road, during a great sale, I was able to get
her loops and the longer bands which I love, cause it gives me that couple extra inches
to work with. All in all, I didn’t end up really paying anymore than I orginally would have,
and I think I might have even saved a couple extra bucks….so that scenario worked out
great.

After seeing Jenn's Saturday post that things were on-track, I checked the calendar. We could, possibly, get these Thanksgiving weekend, if SNM pulled out the stops to get them shipped/mailed to us those 3 days before the holiday. Whoa! But I think the first week of December is a better bet.

Those longer bands are great! I bought them on a great sale too & like them much better than the original, shorter ones, especially for bicep curls & overhead tricep extensions. The fabric bands are easier on my hands; I use them a lot to sub for the elastic ones in workouts.
