Good morning,

No workout uyesterday. I did go to agility class withi Kylee. That was fun. The computer guy said my pc is ok. It booted right up for him. He thought it may be the monitor, but that was ok. Now he is checking the error log (?) of the pc....I hate technology!

Valerie, an all clear mammo report is a good reason to celebrate, along with your birthday! I don't get much cardion burn from biking either, of course I don't do the biking you do!

Diane Sue, great calorie burn! It sounds like the bathroom remodel is moving quickly.

Carolyn, that is amazing that no one was hurt. I hope we get some of that spring weather this week. :)
Lori, ugh...snow! I hope it melts fast. At least Gigi is enjoying it. :)

A workout, then HouseMax for me,

Take care,

Deb, I need to research the biking business some more. mountain biking is an off-on exercise. big hill ... expect heart rate is 140-145. going downhill it probably drops to 100.
road riding was a surprise. I know my legs have been well worked. riding faster than 20 mph is generally not possible. there are walkers, horses, dogs, kids, intersections.... need to dodge obstacles and stop or slow down around hazards. when we do our 20-30 miles my legs are tired. not painful, but feel well worked. still surprised my heart rate isn't higher.
the polar monitor is an FT1 so their basic unit. not a lot of bells and whistles. we downloaded the manual.

I did most of To the Mat yesterday. stopped before the last few moves for dinner start up , then did muscle meltdown shoulders and icy core 2. some of those simple barre moves absolutely kill my legs. standing, holding a leg out making little circles is pure torture for me.

that is strange about your computer. does it happen after particular web sites? I get a security clearance issue that shuts down my system completely when I visit one very well known news site..... a site I used to check on most days, but now half the time it crashes my system. It seems impossible such a well known site could have a problem but it's happened more than once so I don't go there much anymore. I used to have an issue with IE getting jammed up and crashing things so I loaded another browser (chrome) to use occasionally.

Yes the all clear mamm is a great birthday present. I don't need anything else.

DH went off to ski or snowshoe this morning. I didn't go. just not feeling any interest so skipped it.

Good afternoon ladies,

This morning I did 2 Arnita Champion's Bellicon workouts from YouTube then did the 2 Daisy workouts from their streaming site. Total time was 76 mins / 624 cal. Loved this combination.

After all the snow the past two days it is a beautiful day here in NE. 52 degrees and sunny. My son took me out for lunch at our favorite local restaurant. Had way too much to eat...chicken pot pie, pecan rolls nd corn fritters with maple syrup. We ate it all. My husband had some work to do so he was not able to join us. :(

Deb...that sounds like good news that it may be just the monitor. You can pick those up rather cheaply. As we always said...the agility class is a workout!! Lol!!

Valerie...congrats on the clear mamo! Barre work can be very intense. I am so addicted to that deep burn. At times while deep in the move my legs are shaking uncontrollably. My husband is amazed I stick with it and do not come out of the move. When I first started a couple years ago of course I never was able to hold the moves like I do now. I have been reading more and more posts how people feel barre has bulked up their legs. For me it has been the opposite. They have never looked leaner. Guess it just depends on your body!

Have a great day all...off to enjoy this beautiful day!

Today was a rest day. I took the children to their house for Sunday family brunch. I helped my daughter set up her sewing machine that she just got. She will cut out her first project and bring it over tomorrow to work on.

Deb, I am sorry they have not found the problem with your computer. Technology is constantly changing. I think some programs go against each other at times. I find it so frustrating and could not imagine doing something like that for a living. It gives me a headache.

Valerie, I think that some of my problems I have with being dumped offline is IE. It happens mostly when I am on one site like pinterest and it sends you to another page to pull up the recipe or site and then it slows down and freezes. When I ordered skin care products from 100% Pure I spent two days trying to put in an order. I sometimes could see the cart but nothing worked after that. I emailed them and they said they had it working on it and that it was IE and to try Google Chrome. I did not do that but when I finally got it to work at first the cart popped up with my two items plus 15 of one third product for over 1000 dollars. At least I was able to delete that before I placed my order. I have a feeling IE has been a lot of my internet quit responding messages.
I have an FT4 and an FT7 and an FT60 Polar. The FT4 is the lowest calorie and performing one. The FT4 is pretty basic, no extras. The FT 60 has own zone where you go through paces to set your personal zone as walking, light jog, jog, fast in place. Then it also has the VO2 Max, where you start it lying down relaxed, no media, make sure no stimulants like caffeine or meals before doing it. It takes about 5 minutes to measure it. It also has other programs in it and capabilities to work with their internet site to save your programs with some added device. My F11 that I broke trying to save money on sending it out to get the battery changed since it was not friendly in the respect did all of that as well. It was my favorite. Having the all clear on the mammogram and physicals always leaves me feeling pretty good when I am done. That is great that you got the all clear.

Lori, it has been wet here in Oklahoma. Not bad though, no severe weather. That sounds like a good workout combination and a nice calorie burn. I have never felt that barre or floor work has bulked my legs at all. I always seemed to have definition and even some dents of muscle in my glutes, but never bulk. I did forget to mention that after trying to use 5# dumbbells on the bounce arms workout etc. , my neck and traps were extremely sore. I think I will be more careful next time. I rarely get my legs to shake like Suzannes co instructor does. Maybe a little tremble. I think that I liked thigh bounce better than the booty bounce. I did do the workouts on my toes. When I first started doing Cathe's turbo barre and others on my toes, my feet would get sore.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Metabolic Conditioning. 42 minutes 258 calories.

Valerie, with all the biking etc that you do, you should not ever have to do a lower body workout! Do they still have the soft chest strap with the snap on part for the Polar moniter? I don't think the computer issue is related to a particular web site. I have a feeling I will be getting a new PC.

Lori, that was some lunch! Your snow should be gone soon. We will be in the 60's today.

Diane Sue, what is your daughter making with the new sewing machine? Have you ever tried Chrome as a browser? Do you have the latest version of IE?

A workout, then my annual eye exam this morning...

Take care

I had issues with IE on several sites, usually saying there was a security problem. one was a forum at Cooking Light magazine which has since closed down. Sad to see so many forums ( like this one) closing down. guess everyone is on facebook or tweeting or whatever. the one I have problems on recently is the Huffington Post. I have problems with connections there, and videos never run. I read only main stories and don't use links. still have problems so don't go there that often. also had an issue with my computer screen that caused the screen to get distorted, would get a slightly smeared and distorted look to the screen. I'd shut it down and reboot but it got more frequent. that went away when I got a new screen. wasn't sure that was the problem but it fixed it. I have Chrome as a back up browser but haven't used it in a long time. for a while I used it for the cooking light site.
Deb, I need lower body work especially squats, lunges, side lunges. riding and hiking are great but they work the same muscles over and over. I activate a lot of different muscles with leg workouts. I always notice side lunges. inner and outer thigh areas are not worked with riding. the chest strap is very similar to the older ones. I didn't notice if the battery is replaceable. I was thinking the newer ones were.

we plan on going to a state park tonight with our camper to make sure all is working OK. will also do some mt biking and a hike. I might not be around for a day or two. last fall we had a problem with our camper system battery not recharging. when we got home it started working again and never could find a reason.

I took yesterday off. Lori that sounds like quite the meal! Hope your snow goes away quickly. I never noticed any visible changes from any workout on my legs. they are big, bulky, challenging to find clothes. always have been. I've been exercising for almost 60 years to try and 'fix" them but nothing changes them. I shudder to think of what might have happened if I had NOT exercised.

Hello Everyone,
I never got to check in yesterday. I took a rest day and did some cooking. I try to make a nice meal on Sunday which is a holdover from my working days. If I don't start the week right with something prepared and leftovers it seems to throw me off for several days to come. Weekend preparation is something daughters number 2 and 3 are struggling with at present.

Today I did 4 Day Split Bootcamp with Heavy Weights Biceps and Triceps. My total time was 70 minutes with 336 calories burned.

I always use google chrome as my browser and have had very few problems. I had more issues when I was using the Microsoft browser. Switching to Chrome was a recommendation from a friend's son who is in graduate school at Georgia Tech. It is still working for me.

Deb, have your digestive problems improved with dietary changes? Good luck with getting your computer going.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

I have been doing a lot of walking up and down the hills, and today, I did LowMax, and High Reps for lower body. I hope everybody is doing well. I don't think I am too skinny; my BMI is 19, and my waist to hip ratio is .70.

Good evening ladies...

I felt surprisingly good this morning after that hi calorie meal yesterday. Must be because of the workout I did prior to going and we went early enough in the day. Thought sure I would be feeling yucky today. This morning's workout was from SB's challenge Lower Body Mixed Cardio. Was only 22 minutes but I did it completely on the rebounder. Yeah I know I am obsessed!! :). Adding the rebounder made the barre work a little harder due to the unstabilty. When it came to the cardio portion it was perfect on the JS. Great workout. I then did a really quick power jump premix I made up...was only 10 minutes but it woke me up!!! Ended with Pop Sugar from Youtube Standing Abs, 5m. Total workout was 37 mins / 272 cal. Tonight I bounced while watching the news..34ms / 211 cal.

Deb...I miss understood. I thought it was your monitor causing the issues. Hoping all is good soon. I use FireFox as my internet browser. I like it so much more than internet explorer. It was in the mid 50's again today. We have a long way to go before everything melts. The -ast 2 days have certainly helped! I am ready for nicer weather.

Diane Sue..I use either 3's or 4's when doing the Bounce Arms. Just depending on how I feel. Have you worked out doing pull ups on the bar? My matt should be coming any day now. It is being shipped UPS from CA and that takes forever to get to MA.

Valerie...I always felt the same way about my legs. I need to really work my lower body constantly. I also shutter to think if I didn't. Enjoy your trip!

Carolyn... I am with your daughters with the weekend preparation. I wish I could be disciplined to do so. Nice workout!

Caitlyn...hill walking is a great workout. We have hills here and oh boy they can get you good.

Have a great night all. I have a one day meeting in Philadelphia tomorrow. Flight is at 6am so this means I need to leave the house no later that 3:30am. Flight home is at 9:15pm landing at I think 10:30pm then an hour and half drive home. Not going to be pretty.

Today was another non stop day. My husband and I are having to share the upstairs bath right now. The plumber brought help today and worked for several hours. They will be back again tomorrow afternoon.
This morning I did Strong and Sweaty Boot camp 44 minutes, 307 calories, heart rate average 120/max 163. I then did Ice Boot camp Circuit skipping the warm up, 39 minutes, 266 calories, heart rate average 120/ max 158. Total time was 84 minutes, calories 573, 4078 steps.
I had to do my hair color and run errands. I had a quick meal and made cookies since my daughter and granddaughter were coming to sew. Then it was sewing. They made new covers today for the daycare pillows. Olivia, my 9 year old granddaughter was proud of her first project and did an excellent job. She did two pillows and then my daughter made a cover for my grandson's pillow. Next we are going to work with a learn to sew pattern that is a fairly simple dress pattern for my granddaughter for Easter. She is excited about doing this. I will have to help them with measuring and fit before I show them how to cut it out and get started. I think most of it will not be too difficult. Maybe the facings on the neck. She wants the belt too. I am tired tonight. I had very little sleep last night. I finally got up and laid on the couch for awhile so I wouldn't bother my husband. I am still trying to understand why Fit Bit gives me 200 calories right away in the morning for steps and then takes them off as I move. If I don't get enough steps in on my workouts it takes calories off of my workouts. This started with the latest Fit Bit update. I am not sure that I appreciate it.

Deb, I guess a new computer would be the next step if you keep having problems. My husband is due for a new one. His will not stay charged up and the cord area has something loose as it will just go out on him in the middle of something. My daughter was wanting to learn to sew and for my granddaughter to learn. They are excited about having a machine and learning. I posted above about the start up projects. My daughter was looking at a wrap around skirt that she thought would be good for her trip to Haiti this summer. So that may be a project as well. I have never used chrome. Always IE. I always associated Chrome with the cloud and I try to void that as much as possible. That is hard though. Anything you look at is all over the place after you look at it. No privacy at all. I don't know if I have the latest version of IE. I think that I do. I don't allow automatic updates so recently I checked what updates there were and allowed the recommended ones after I looked them over.

Valerie, I suppose I should try Chrome for a back up. I do get tired of all of these social media sites. I use facebook a little and I use pinterest quite a bit for recipes, some fitness, craft ideas, sewing, and pet stuff. So, I would say I go there more than anywhere other than here. I have Instagram , but have never put anything on it. I just got it originally to follow some of the Paleo and fitness people and my granddaughters posts. It was funny because I wasn't sure how Instagram worked exactly. My granddaughter and her friend were on live figuring out how that worked and I was sitting here in my jammies and saw she was on. I checked expecting a picture and I hear her saying hey there's Nana, hi Nana!! I turned it off and then felt silly because as I thought about it , they couldn't see me, only my name watching their live video. Anyway. I have hardly looked at Instagram since I got it. I do get frustrated when trying to look at recipes and all of the sudden they are gone or make a purchase and it freezes up on me.
It seems that there are those things that we cannot change. I tried really hard to build up my calves and ankles and no matter how heavy I would go and how much work I put into it the stay tiny. Ankle straps always need to have extra holes added. Boots are always loose. I remember my mother's friend in England always complained that All of the bicycling gave her large thighs. I really do not see how that it would make them larger. I used to go for long rides with her when I was 10 through the different towns. I bet your Polar has a replaceable battery. All of my later Polar watches have user replaceable batteries.

Carolyn, I have always liked having extra food cooked up. When I make dishes for myself I always make the full recipe so I have some to freeze for later. It is mostly soups. It helps o have fruit and the veggies cleaned and ready. I like to have a salad prepared as well. I can eat a salad for a snack and enjoy it. I like the biceps on that 4 day Split workout.

Lori, I find it interesting though that I can use 5's and 8's for similar moves on Cathe's workouts. I guess Suzanne B does a lot of keeping them held up there. Yes, I did do the pull up portion. It worked out okay but I am still looking for something sturdier because my barre does not feel that stable. I think my legs and the bar are probably not as heavy duty as they appear to be on the Jump sport. It takes a long time for something to get to Oklahoma from California so I can only imagine waiting for something in MA. 6 am is an early flight.

Caitlin, nice work on the hill walking.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday...decided to take a rest day.

Valerie, Have a safe trip! that is strange about IE and certain sites. Do you have the latest version of it? Forgot about "overuse" injuries. Good to do different lower body exercises.

Carolyn, that's nice that you still do a nice home cooked meal on Sunday. John and I try to do that as well. Always good to have leftovers for another night during the week too, :). I am basically eating normal right now. All except coffee/tea. I have been virtually heartburn free for about 12 days. I found that when I had a cold about a month ago and took Nyquil for 3 nights, Is12 days ago, decided to try benadry to get some sleep, and felt good again the next day. I am beginning to think that lack of sleep may be the root of my problem. I bought Melatonin, but have not started on it yet. I am scheduled for 2 tests this month, but will be speaking with
my GI Dr and maybe cancelling. No sense to go through with an test measures acid relflux occurrances that are not happening.

Caitlin, those hills where are sound like great workouts! How you feel is most important.

Lori, have a safe trip. I think you need to take tomorrow off! those workouts sound like fun, :), The tech guy did think it could have been the monitor, but found that is wasn't. He looked at the error log (?)...and fixed a few things. Picking it up this morning, hopefully it will be ok.

Diane Sue, maybe your bathroom will be done by the end of this week? So great that your granddaughter wants to learn to sew.
That is not the usual these days. Maybe go on the FitBit site and ask why it does that? I don't think that was a good update if
they did that on purpose.

A workout, picking up the PC and monitor, then class at noon....

Take care,

Hello Ladies,
Today I did X Train Chest, Back, and Shoulders. I did a shortened version, rounds 1-5 (of 8).

Today is my husband's birthday and I made a cake. My family is similar to yours Diane Sue in that we always celebrate birthdays with cake and ice cream. I wasn't going to make one, but I started to feel guilty. He was so happy to see it when he came home.

Learning to sew is a great project. I don't sew much anymore, but it has been a great skill to have over the years. When we we moving around a lot I always made curtains and other items for our new house. I made clothes for the children and for myself.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

Today I did Barre Amped Cardio Bounce with SB , 13 minutes, 106 calories., followed by Rock Out Knock Out, 56 minutes, 402 calories, 135 average heart rate/ 168 max. Total time was 69 minutes, calories 508. Tomorrow will be a rest day since my husband and I are going out of town tonight and will be coming back tomorrow. I have family dinner tomorrow night. I will have to rely on canned pasta sauce. I had purchased ingredients for the Fixate Cookbook sauce that is so yummy. But there will not be time for that. My husband has a meeting to go to and wanted company for that 2 hour trip.

Deb, lack of sleep can wreck havoc on the body's performance. I can't take Benadryl and that sort of thing. I am wiped out the next day. I slppe more if I do not have any caffeine at all at night. I make sure I use my greens powder and some of the supplements that are supposed to boost energy in the mornings and never at night. I know that maca powder and some things like the Acetyl L Carnitine that I am using for the nerve damage right now can keep me awake so if I forget them early I don't use them. I can get away with caffeinated coffee one cup in a day but not very often. If I have a lot of coffee, I feel exhausted and wide awake at the same time. That is great that you have had 12 days without symptoms. I think the plumbers will be done tomorrow. He is doing this after his regular job. Then my husband has to finish pulling up the ceramic tile that is left and he is doing the concrete. He will have to prepare the floor and lay the floor before the toilets and vanity and sink can be put in. He has to put up a wall where the one door was as well. I am hoping it is all finished by April. It is a large bath area.

Carolyn, I have specific cakes that different family members like. My husband always expects his German chocolate cake. He would think I was mad at him or something if he didn't get his cake. One son in law is always all chocolate all the way cake, one is carrot cake, the rest are relatively easy. A lot of the middle children like ice cream cake. On German Chocolate days I have to make brownies of something for those who do not like coconut. It is a good thing that I am not a huge cake fan. But, there are generally not a lot of left overs and I leave the other family members with their cakes. I used to sew my girls clothes when they were young. I made the brides maids dresses for my oldest daughter's wedding. I was telling my husband the other day that I should make the curtains I want and get rid of these ugly vertical blinds. I spent a lot of money on curtains at our last home. It was an old European style home with lots of windows and doors with windows. Sewing does come in handy but sometimes by the time you buy all of the notions etc. It can be costly.

we are back and all went well. this was mostly to check the camper's functions and make sure nothing quit working over the winter. we did a mt bike yesterday that was on trails, so harder than the rides we've been doing on mostly roads. the park is in the rain shadow of the Olympics so not as wet as our usual places to ride. 2 hours with a lot of up and down. the campground was surprisingly busy considering early april but I have an out of season pass that allows for free stays during the winter. usually we use it a lot in late fall but we got rained out this year. I am determined to at least pay for the cost of the pass itself by staying another night in a state park.

this morning we went on a low land hike, 4 miles or so. we have a lot of snow in the mountains this year so we need to find things to do that are less snowy.

wow bathroom remodels and sewing, two of my least favorite things. we re did our bathroom about 2 years ago. it was a massive PITA but it was worth it. really pleased with how it turned out. I had pink ceramic tile that I was SO happy to toss. use bigger tile so there is less grout. it is almost a given these days as there is very little small tile (4") around anymore. so many beautiful surfaces to pick from now.

I hate sewing. I used to make most of our outdoor gear before costs dropped so much. like goretex jackets, big things where precise fit was not a big issue. ready- to- wear has gotten so inexpensive and better quality that it's not worth doing it yourself anymore IMO. unless you really like doing it, and I don't! I made cushions and an upholstered Z-bed for our old VW bus. that was the biggest project I ever did and it turned out great. we kept that '78 van until about 2006 just because I was so proud of the cushions. the rest of the van had crumbled however! killed me to give it away but it wasn't driveable anymore.

we've switched to pie or ice cream for birthdays. haven't had cake in a long time. used to love it but not so much anymore. I used to love german chocolate cake. haven't had it in decades. I ate a reeses peanut butter cup yesterday for the first time in ages! gosh it tasted good. DH ate the other one.

Deb that is very odd ( but nice) that your reflux seems to have fixed itself. it took so long to get the tests scheduled, make sure before cancelling! was it coffee and tea all along causing problems?

I have decided to order the Fit Tower and pre order the new workouts. I will probably do it when I get back tomorrow. I want to get the barbell clips as well. I had my grandson come over and get a key so he can feed Gertie and let her out. He is always so helpful with that and lives just up the street. It saves having to transport her somewhere else and I know she is more comfortable at home.

Valerie, that was quite an accomplishment with your VW bus. It is harder to get rid of something when you have put something special into it. I know the bathroom will be nice when it is done. We had 4 inch ceramic tile around the toilet area. Upstairs is all 4 inch white tile on the floor and counter. The shower and tub is 4 inch tile. I hear you on all of that grout. We won't be redoing the shower and tub areas this time around. Just the flooring throughout. Those little tiles were stuck down well. My husband has been chipping them off as they do not want to just pop off. It is a mess. I go through phases with the sewing. I do not like mending and fixing things which is what I get asked to do a lot. Doing a new project is much more gratifying. I am not one to sit around and do a bit at a time so I need to allot enough time to do a whole project in one sitting. I am the same way with my art work. It has taken me some time to have the patience for something to dry before I go on to the next color. I have to do that with oil paints.
I love warm fruit pie with a scoop of really good vanilla ice cream or a little real cream drizzled over it. Not a lot of ice cream is that good. Too many artificial ingredients and gums etc. to give it the smooth texture that they try for.

Thanks, and all I have to do is put a pair of any kind of shoe that is comfy, and go out the door for an hour or two. I do make sure I get my weight work in. I have so many workouts that I am not ordering any more. Here, I have a great solid wooden floor and an elderly neighbor downstairs who never complains. Today, I did my upper body, besides my hill walking. I did the Marathon 15 years ago, and I do like to run, but it is too hilly here to do that. The gyms are as expensive here as in NYC, and the better one does not have any classes. None of them have any classes.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Gym Styles Chest & Triceps, the Supersets timesaver premix.

Carolyn, Happy Birthday to your husband. :). Our family always celebrates with cake and ice cream too.

Diane Sue, hope your trip went well. Good that your grandson can take care of Gertie while you are gone. I use bottled sauce when we make anything that calls for it. I think there are some really good ones out there. That bathroom job sounds very complicated! As for symptoms, of course after I typed that....yesterday was not a good day for me. Not sure if it was lack of sleep the night before. I was planning on calling the DR and cancelling the 2 tests I have scheduled for next week and the week after, but after yesterday, not sure what to do. If I don't have symptoms, for the test, it will be for nothing. :(. They will think I am nuts. Not to mention the expense.

Valerie, good that you tried out the camper etc. Also sounds like you got a good ride in. I don't think it was coffee and tea all along. I have not had those for over 6 months. I would think if it was that, it would have fixed itself a lot sooner.

Carolyn, that is too bad that the gyms there do not have classes. The larger ones here all have classes. At least you are able to just go out the door and get a good run/walk in.

A workout, then getting the Saab out of storage this morning. Of course they are predicting snow for Friday ....and saying it will be the kind that sticks and needs to be shoveled! UGH

Take care,

Rest day today. Yesterday I got 10,608 steps. By the end of day Fitbit had me at a -44 calorie adjustment they took away. I need to read up on this when I get a chance.

Deb, I am sorry. Maybe some food? Something causing some anxiety? I understand not wanting to do the tests if it is going to be a waste of time and cost. I felt silly when I went to the doctor trying to get a handle on my extreme fatigue. Nothing showed up but sometimes I feel like I could fall asleep standing. I think that it is mostly lack of good sleep due to allergiesin part. The times when I have a couple of good night's sleep I feel so much more energetic. So, I am really trying to work on that. Often I have to have a brief nap to keep going. So far I have had about 2 months freedom from bad allergy symptoms since I started using bee pollen and taking my herbal vitamin allergy supplement daily. I hope this keeps up. We have seedlings all over our yard right now and I mowed and no reaction to it.

Diane Sue, that is great that you have found something that seems to work on your allergens. I did call the DR office and he said he definitely wants me to take the tests, so I will do it.

Deb ... the way doctors approach making a diagnosis is to consider all the all the possible causes for the "problem", which s seems to be reflux. then they work thru the list and eliminate as many things as they can. whatever remains left on the list is probably the cause of the problem. If nothing else, these tests will help them in the process of elimination. I think you should go ahead with the tests too.

I have the Gym style series too. I used it a lot but then moved on to others. I always liked it. didn't like cathe's hair in that one. so funny, I hadn't noticed it but my niece was here working out with me and commented on it. I ended up with a very sore hip joint from something in to The Mat. not sure what it was, just on one side. it was okay riding but not pleasant walking. If I were to guess, it was the one knees crossed with the band lifted at an angle behind.

we thought we would do a trip this next week but it seems it's still winter everywhere so not for sure at this point. and raining again here. this is the winter that won't quit!. at least we know all camper parts work and no repairs needed. we bought a cover for the camper 2 years ago and it has greatly reduced the wear and tear of winter weather. will decide when we get a better weather forecast for next week.

it was such a relief to get rid of the pink tile. ours had to be chipped off too, and then off to the dump with about a ton of it. it was 'dusty rose' which was really popular in the early '90's. like all colors, it went out of style and clashed with everything afterwards. I always regretted that choice. I went much more neutral on the replacement tiles. no shiny bathroom-y looking ones. mostly 12 inch squares for less grout. I love it. we used "luxury vinyl " on the floor. large squares 16 inch with grout lines. turned out lovely. it can be a do it yourself product.
I did the upper body premix part of giant sets. I don't think this one works very well as an upper body workout without the lower body sections to spread it out. timing ends up awkward. I then did the abs part and that was pretty unpleasant. first time for both and not real smooth.
