How awful! She had been looking terribly thin lately...Of course, that may have nothing in the world to do with it, just an observation, but she didn't look "right".

This is very sad, indeed. I won't speculate, but I do agree with the observation that Govtgirl made regarding Brittany's increasingly thin frame. She was a good actress, and she could sing, too! She is the vocalist on Paul Oakenfold's "Faster Kill Pussycat" song.

This is really sad. I really liked her as an actress and she had a great voice. This has been a crazy year.

I agree with Govt Girl too; she looked way too thin. I hate to speculate but it had to have been from 1 of 2 things that I doubt I need to mention. 32 is way too young to die this way.

Wow, you just never know what can happen in life. This is very sad. I remember her talking about her relationship and break up with Ashton Kutcher years ago and her outlook on life, etc. For some reason, that always stood out to me and I was routing for her to succeed in the manner that she wanted. I hope she's at peace.

I really liked her as an actress. She had so much life ahead of her.

I know she got extremely thin at one point, but I hadn't seen her lately, and had assumed she wasn't still at that weight.

Saw her in "Deadline" a few weeks back and was really shocked by how thin she was. For some weird reason I have been listening to and watching the "Faster Kill Pussycat" clip a lot the last few days... Her voice was amazing!!!

If what the Police say is true, I must say that (suffering myself from a chronic and possibly terminal illness) I can't accept people dying from drug overdose. It is simply an idiotic way to die. I had the same feelings when Heath Ledger died.

Sorry, if I offend anyone, but when I do my best everyday to stay alive and keep going (including "killing" myself with STS!!! ) it drives me crazy when people don't respect their lives, their health and their bodies.

what a said and shocking thing! so so young(my age) and probably had more to give.

chris-i can understand that you don't get it, but some ppl struggle everyday to get and stay clean. addiction is a strong chokehold and celebs face the same struggles to fight the battle. i have dealt with it myself , its not that some of us don't respect ourselves or bodies its just we are lost and depressed and don't have the support. celebs have access to better care and resources but their struggles to overcome are like anybody else. unless one has been there they don't know the struggles of addiction and it stings to some when ppl just think we don't care about ourselves, if we didn't we wouldn't fight so hard to stay alive and get help. plus i haven't see any reports of what police are saying other then they are investigating but sticking with natural causes as cause of death at this point.

This really bummed me out. My dh and I just watched the movie "Deadline" last night (weird movie) and then I was brushing my teeth and he was watchign the news. He came into the bathroom and said, "Hey, that girl in the movie we just watched died today." I thought he was joking. Here it was true. I really liked her movies and always thought she was such a beautiful girl. And you never heard anything bad about her like you do with Lindsey Lohan and others like her. I think she had a higher standard of life then most starletts to.

Way too sad. Too young. I agree, she was looking way too thin. 'THe view' said she had a lot of prescription drugs in her home. But, who knows if that was the cause, or added to the cause. Either way sad! When does young hollywood learn?
