Had to say it, even though this probably doesn't belong in this thread (although it seems to be talking about inspirations and role models for the moment). Didn't mean to hijack.
 
While I certainly don't condone what he did, I do think all of the Tiger-bashing is a bit much and all the comments about his wife taking a much money as possible and running are really gross. Frankly, she was rich to start to with and is not going to be hurting for money any time soon. Secondly, none of us know her and what her "issues" may or may not be. I'm so tired of always hearing how horrible the men are and how the women are all put up on pedestals like they're so innocent or something. She could be a raving lunatic for all any of us know - we all know them. This is a matter between them. This kind of goes with the territory for men in his position, so I don't find it so shocking. Even the rich, famous, "exceptional" people have their issues to deal with. Good thing none of us has to play out our lives and issues in this public manner. Glass houses people!!!
 
I thought his wife was just a nanny when he met her? She wasn't a supermodel like some people have claimed. She only did a little modeling when she was younger. Not that that has anything to do with anything, I just hadn't heard she was rich beforehand.

The number of supposed mistresses is now up to 13 and the one "long term" lover is claiming that she hooked Tiger up with women in various cities for him. Sounds like this is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. I will not be surprised if the rest of his sponsors dump him now.

She could well be a lunatic and he could well be a wife beater for all I know. No one of us knows what's going on behind closed doors. That being said there is NOTHING that she could have possibly done which justifies how he has treated her! If the marriage was so horrible/unbearable he could have gotten a divorce or at least separated before he carried and texted his equipment to other women.

I think if he had just cheated once or a one-night-stand I wouldn't have said anything but over years, one after another? Come on now! If I was the wife I wouldn't touch that guy with a 10 ft. pole anymore. STDs anyone?? And for putting her through that humiliation, he should be paying!

I don't get it that some people find it okay to ask what the woman could have done to "drive" her husband to this.

I agree Carola! There is no excuse to cheat. As you said, get a divorce if you are just that out of control!
 
Seriously - why doesn't anybody blame these scummy women????? These women knew who he was, knew he was married and knew he had young, young children!!! Just because Tiger wants to sleep with you - doesn't mean you have too!!! No morals . . . . at all. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

Tiger couldn't sleep with someone other than his wife if these women refused!!! Let's face it - he has probably had ample opportunities.

If Elin is a horrible person - what does that matter? It doesn't give him a liscense to sleep with other women. If he wants to be with every women in every city - go ahead - just please divorce your wife first. In my book, give the wife the benefit of the doubt first - you don't know what she is going through. I wish I had been there to club his car too.
