I would definitely be interested in the Stlized Step and Push/Pull workouts. I had hoped last round you would do an all-step video! I would also like to see another kickboxing video!:7

I'm sure I'll love whatever you make, but more kickboxing and something with heavy weight for muscle building are all I really lack right now.

CardioKicks is really great, kickbox mixed with athletic movements. Something else like this would be wonderful.

;-) Cathe, I am so thrilled that you will be filming this summer. I love the idea of a new "Rhythmic Step" type video as that is my favorite cardio! Push Pull sounds great also, is this another type of muscle endurance/weight training working on the positive and negative? Also a beginner Cathe tape is a great way to score new cathettes! I will be thinking of suggestions for you! ;)

The push-pull idea is awesome and I would instantly purchase another Rhythmic Step-type tape. I'm not too sure about the intro-to-Cathe tape. It is a *fantastic* idea, but thanks to you I consider myself advanced and would like the option of not having an intro included (I hope that doesn't sound snotty). Please include more kickboxing and floorwork (for hips and thighs). Whatever you decide on is sure to be great. I'm ready to pre-order now. :)

OOOoooo!! Yeah!! I'm going to start saving right away.
I would love, love, LOVE another IMAX. How about an Imax that
is half hi-low, half step. Oh, anything you want to do
will be perfect. You're just so awesome!!!

I'll be back later after I think this through for the next
solid 24 hours.

Oh Cathe I am soooooo excited. These all sound great.

My votes:
1. IMAX 3!!!!!
2. Terminator 2!!!
3. Heavy wt training that can be split into different days upper and then lower body.
4. I agree with SteppingFool that a DVD that combined some kickbox, hi/lo and step with a few TOUGH intervals would be worth a LOT!
5. Intervals of any kind!

I also agree that it would be great to not have to purchase the intro to Cathe in the set. However, I feel many others would like it. I see a lot of questions around here about it. It would be a great way to help the "new to Cathe" market while still catering to the advanced exerciser. Great idea!!!!! I bet you will sell a fortune!

I can't believe you are already doing another series! We are soooooo lucky! My credit card is ready for pre-order!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Hi Cathe! This is so exciting! I love your 3 ideas--perfect!!!!

For the fourth one, I would like to see another hour long kickboxing session, like a Cardio Kicks II.....or a Hi/Lo tape.

Thanks for asking! :)

Donna M

Hi Cathe

I am also one of the ones always asking for more hi/low.
I absolutely love the hi/low in circuit max & I would like to see more of that. Actually I like the format in circuit max doing different aerobics sections, but without the weights (probably not very practical)

Pia

Cathe, I really like the 3 videos you mention. I would also LOVE to see a BodyMax2. Please keep the speed and format the same as the first BodyMax. This is my favorite video of yours. It's such a thourough workout and can be used in so many ways with the 3 thirty minute segments.

Lisa :)

Too much to ask?

Hi Cathe, thanks for asking for our opinions. That means so much!

Push/Pull: I love this idea. I would love to see another 75 min. workout like MIS. Even with a no nonsense workout, it's hard to hit every muscle group in 60 min. when lifting heavy. And it would be great if this workout could end with an ab routine using either the med ball or stability ball.

Stylized Step: I love the ALL NEW choreography and Stylized Challenge, however, since Intro to Cathe will be a bit less intense than your usual step tapes, I vote for Stylized Hi/Lo instead. I would love to see a full 60 min. hi/lo workout from you. Just so your hardcore devotees aren't getting 2 lower intensity workouts.

Intro to Cathe: This would be great for the new comers and a real treat for those of us who were afraid to try your choreography so we shyed away for years. However, I am a selfish person and since I am not new to your moves, I would love to see this workout to be similar in intensity to Power Max. It still amazes me how you cue and breakdown that workout without ever slowing up the pace.

I would also love to see either Art Carey Max (working title), a workout incorporating Boot Camp Drills/Leg Circuits (no upper body work) and then ending with stability ball work, or Maximum Intensity Kickboxing, 20 or som min. of floor kickboxing, followed by 30 min. of step kickboxing.

But as I've said before, SNM could make a video of you and Rhonda playing dodgeball and I'd buy it!

Hi! I met you last year when Deanna and I drove up from D.C. to take your class. What a highlight that was for me :). I love the idea of a "Stylized Step" workout with all (or mostly all) new choreography. A Push and Pull workout has always been my dream. I'm torn between that and another CTX style series. In the end, I think we'd get more use out of the P&P since...well, since we already have a CTX series.

I also think it's great that you're considering a video to help get folks acquainted with you. They'll never look back ;). But what to do about the 4th workout? hmmmm. Maybe split the push pull into 2 workouts? Another circuit-style workout would be excellent too. The one thing I'm sure of is, if you use our suggestions along with your desires, it's bound to be yet another great set of workouts. You can't go wrong listening to us and going with your gut.

Best of luck to you. What good fortune for us!! Woohoo!! :* (is that a kiss? I think so...it's meant for you and your background exercisers! Thanks!)

Hi Cathe!

I'm really enjoying the Intensity Series and just wanted to say what a great job you always do in presenting such challenging and innovative workouts. It's never 'the same old thing'! But it's always way hard:eek: ;-)

Anyway, I'm in the process of adopting two small children from Russia, so my vote would be for some shorter workouts. I broke down and ordered almost all of your dvd's with the intensity series and love the way I can mix and match segments to make a workout the length I'd like, but the CTX segments are great, and perhaps even a 40 minutes cardio would be nice as well.

I would also vote for the slower bpm - I find I can add intensity without worrying about the quick twisting on the old knees at a slightly slower pace.

I like the push/pull idea and also the idea of two 30 minute upper/lower body routines.

In terms of favorite steps - I think the second section of Power Max is king of the hill in terms of fun choreography - I also like the step portion of MIC although it's brutal! Of course AllStep and Step and Intervals from CTX is pretty fun too! This is hard to be specific - but perhaps this gives an idea. Oh, and I love CTX kickbox routine. Okay, sorry I'm not much help:p

As always, thanks for asking - I'll be a preorder no matter what you put out, as usual!

Cheers!
Colia

Cathe and all:

I thought Step Heat and Step Max etc., were the intro to Cathe tapes?!?!?!?! ;-)

Seriously, I want to second and third the request for a tape, full length, that works the 10*10*10 concept, these three cardio styles again but LONGER!!!!!!! Say 40-45 mins of continuous cardio like this? Interpersed with interval blasts and finishing up with drills as in Cardio kicks drills would be perrrrrrrrrrrfect! Some core work to complete and we're done.

I love the Rythmic Step II idea: it'll rock!

Push/pull, yeah, I'll go for it even though I have no idea what this means!!!

Fave Cathe moves from past videos? Here's a sample:

1. ricochets
2. power l's from Powermax
3. over, face-in, overs
4. swimming moves you put in interval 1 of IMAX 2
5. step up, jumping jack, rock back and three repeater from CTX All Step
6. repeater to an angle and bounce back as used in beginning of step section of CTX 10 10 10
7. figure 8's from start of Step Works
8. leg bounce up with arm in air and diagonal hop turns as featured in Body Max, and CTX All Step towards end
9. mambos onto and off step with turn to the back as used in R Step section 1 and Imax 2 cardio sections
10. horse, straddle, jump up and off step as from last section of Powermax
11. knee on the cormer, centre jump from 3rd section of Powermax
12. 123 horse and little jump from 3rd section of Powermax

I feel the list is endless.......

Cathe, for the Intro to Cathe tape, I think if you keep the intensity on the level of the intensity of the first Step cardio section of Cardio & Weights, you will have hit upon the perfect intensity for an Intermediate-Advanced exerciser new to Cathe.

RE: Too much to ask?

Cathe:

I second the following suggestion from Jillybean:

"I vote for Stylized Hi/Lo . I would love to see a full 60 min. hi/lo workout from you. Just so your hardcore devotees aren't getting 2 lower intensity workouts."

And I would like to reiterate a request I have read here at least twice: please organize pricing so that those of us who wish to take advantage of the pre-sale can do so without having to buy the Intro to Cathe tape: seriously, I would never use it......

Thanks for listening

Clare

RE: Hi Cathe!

The ideas for the first 3 videos sound great.

For the fourth video I would love to have another kickboxing workout similar to Cardio Kicks.

Anything you make will be great and I am already ready to preorder!

Tracy

RE: Hi Cathe!

I love the idea of a dancy, stylized tape, but could you please make it not too high impact and perhaps a little slower bpm than Rhythmic Step.

A full-length tape using the push-pull concept sounds great; perhaps some floorwork; your floorwork in the Pyramid lower body workout is awesome.

I don't see myself using the intro tape, so perhaps that could be put and priced on a separate DVD

For the fourth workout, perhaps a fusion workout that emphasizes the core along with some athletic stretching.

Woohoo!

Hi Cathe,

I know that whatever you decide to do will be top notch. I love your ideas so far. Intro to Cathe sounds like a great gift for a friend. For the fourth video, I vote for a circuit style workout. You do these so well! I also prefer something that has hi-lo and kickboxing, like Boot camp, Circuit Max, 10-10-10 or Power Circuits.

I will never tire of your strength workouts...Push Pull sounds great but I have loved everything you have come up with so far!

Finally, I know you are doing your yoga video later, but keep using those yoga-inspired stretches at the end of the workouts...love 'em, especially the down dog!

Thanks!
Caroline

Not much help here

;-) they all look pretty fun and I even think the intro tape would be cool to have in the collection. Especially loving the Push Pull hour long tape..big thank you there:7 .

Stretch tape down the road wouldn't be bad though;-)

RE: Not much help here

Hi -

I would like to see:

Full Length Kickboxing Tape + Plank Work

Heavy Strength Training Series similiar to PS series..broken down into two tapes instead of 3. Push/Pull is great.

Imax 3.

Personally, I would not be interested in two step tapes in this series, especially one that is an "intro to Cathe". I have been working out w/you for years and am really excited when you bring us new innovative work outs as opposed to a compilation of moves from previous videos.

I think the above suggestions would give us a better variety. If you are wanting to reach some of the "newbies to your workouts", maybe you could put more of an emphasisis on background modifiers in the series.

Thanks for listening,
Lynn

I love the previous mentioned idea of an hour long hi/lo video for days when we don't have access to a step or weights.

I'd like an all-step tape made of ten 5-6 minute segments, just to give variety from the normal three 10-17 minute segments.

How about a Gauntlet/Viper type workout where the weight portion is strictly upper body?

This wouldn't be a new video but could you combine the "finished products" of previous videos like Rhythmic Step, Step Max, Step Jam, etc? It would be like a mega-Rhythmic Step Challenge!

I also agree with some previous posters about being selfish when it comes to the "Intro to Cathe" idea. If you do make it, I hope you are able to keep it as hard and intense as your other videos.

Thank you so much for asking for our input!!!!!!
