Need an honest opinion...

Hi. My mom told me today that the picture on my website (my avatar picture) is too revealing. I was just trying to be a model to promote my business. She said my pants are too low cut. Please be honest ladies...I'm so embarrassed and don't want people to think this when they look me up...

I think you look great, and (to me anyway) your pic shouts "athletic and fit" rather than "suggestively revealing." If you're promoting a fitness business, then this is the perfect type of picture!

You look fantastic. I don't think it's too revealing. Like the previous poster stated, your picture says athletic and fit nothing more. I'd definitely hire you to train me if I lived near you. :)
 
I think the picture looks great. YOu don't have your boobs hanging out and stuff, or a provocative look on your face,or a sexual pose. I think you look fit and are representing yourself well. If I had your body, I would have a huge poster size picture!!! Really though, that picture is very tasteful.
 
Well- thank you all for saying that. If you all think so then that makes me happy. Because I would definitely change it if people thought I looked ridiculous...I dont have a great self-esteem and I, unfortunately, always care 100% what people think... it has bothered me all day. My mom has a way of trying to always bring me down a few pegs, since I was a child...even though I don't need it or deserve it. Anyway, thanks again.

Too revealing never even crossed my mind. I agree with everyone else that your pic portrays you as athletic and fit. I think it's a very tasteful picture and there's NOTHING AT ALL to be embarrassed about.
 
Clarissa - I think you look awesome! Not too revealing at all. In fact, you look very classy and fit. :) And this is all coming from a certified "prude", lol. :)
 
A mom chiming in here... I have a daughter probably your age and I gotta tell ya'...the picture is F I N E !!!

I especially like that you obviously practice what you preach.
The picture is beautiful and not remotely 'over' sexy

Mom's can just get real uptight about there DD's and it may freak her a little as she may have heard those internet horror stories.

Hang in there...I know we (moms) can be trying :)

not revealing at all. Your mother's opinion is sadly out of date and you may be right that she's trying to put you down and make you insecure. My mother is 75 and she would not consider this too revealing.

Clarissa, I agree with the others that you seem as athletic and friendly, but not provocative or sleazy in that pic. It seems pretty innocent to me and you always come across as someone very likable and lovely, not skanky or anything!

ETA: If you were local, I'd hire you! :)

Girl please!:7 You look amazing, the pic is perfect, and thats just the way it is.

I had a stepmom just like that, she always tried to "put me down" in subtle ways, to this day I think I have horrid hair (she always made me keep it super short because it was so awful as she put it), and short legs. She told me that lovely, so many times I lost count!:-(

But we are big girls now, with good taste,we love our moms, but don't need to let them bother us-- and you my dear are sweet, helpful and beautiful. Leave the pic.;)
 
Lets just put it this way. If I had to listen to everything my mother told me, Id be a nun;) Seriously though, she can get on with alot of foolishness! I love you pic...don't even consider changing it~! You only look like your going to the gym to workout~

You look fabulous in that avatar picture. When I see that pic I only think "Attractive and super-fit - I wish I could be like her!" I am not sure what your business is, but if I were looking for fitness help, I'd look at that pic and sign up, pronto.

Your pic is fine. What your wearing is right on par with the fitness wear you'd see Jillian or Kim wearing on the Biggest Loser.

Tell mom to chill...in a nice way. :)
 
You look athletic, toned, and fantastic!!! You should be proud of yourself and show it off, girl!!!:)
 
You look faboo. You look like a personal trainer. You're basically dressed the same way Cathe and the team are dressed for all their videos, and they all strike me as being consummately professional. So do you, in my opinion.
