My sweet, ornery grandma of 92 passed away last night. I'm totally numb and reeling at the moment. I honestly don't know what I'll do without her in my life. I was always her special grandchild - we were SO close.
I'm going thru the motions today, but also need to get some details arranged regarding the funeral. It's a 14 hour drive, and one that I don't really want to do. I'd much rather fly but I'm so afraid it's going to break the bank for a family of 4.
Has anyone ever utilized bereavement fares on airlines? Any tips?
And now I have to go to work and put on a happy face...ugh
