Ouch!!! Yeah, the DB won! I am such a klutz!!! I am doing 4DS this month, and was on day 3 today w/ KB & legs on tap. Made it thru KB no incident. Started legs. Did the 1st exercises w/ the barbell, and put the BB on floor in front of the TV and OUT OF MY WAY. So I keep on going thru the workout, and its been awhile, so I couldn't recall what other equipment I needed, so there were points I needed to pause to gather and rearrange my stuff. I got to the part with the plie squats, paused the DVD, and set the clicker back down on the TV stand.
Pulled out my step, set the 30lb DB on the step and then we have the great big stupid!!! Instead of standing behind the BB and reaching to grab the remote (which is what I normally do), I stepped one foot over the bar, grabbed the clicker, and stepped back, forgetting I had a bar between my legs. I tripped backwards on the bar and landed with my right butt on the edge of the big DB and the step. OW OW OW!!!! It hurt so bad, I couldn't even work up a good string of curse words
I feel so stupid and kluzty. My tush is rather tender now, and I was expecting quite the bruise, but nothing yet on my behind. My ego and pride however, have taken quite the beating.
