Lurkers Invitation For The Holidays

Janie Looks like it's just the 2 of us right now, I imagine the others will be back today. Thanks so much for the cardio coach information, I will definitely check it out. I've heard so many good things about these workouts. It sound like Sean is an amazing person too. And thanks for the warning! I remember seeing a thread on the open discussion here when Jim MacLaren died and was wondering who that was. It will be interesting to read his story.
Thanks for the compliments on my mom and on my creations. She had a fun day on Saturday and then my sister was taking her out yesterday too so she really enjoyed it.
We didn't have too many trick or treaters last night :( Last year we had so many that we ran out of candy and I had to go into my reserve stashes but this year we didn't even have half as many. Maybe that is the difference between being on a Saturday night and a Sunday night. Now I have a big bowl of candy sitting on my table  I will have to stay away from that!
I was supposed to do Butts and Guts this morning but since Cathe declared it Hiit Monday I decided to take her challenge. I did a double header of DWP followed by 30/30. Then I did my bonus burn. Holy cow, it about killed me! I was going to do abs but decided I will hold off on those until tonight. I was also looking at Cathe's November rotation. It looks great, I think I'll have to schedule that starting after Thanksgiving since I don't think I will be able to get to it before then. Have a great Monday everyone!

Pam

Sorry I have been MIA the last several days. Saturday I woke up and ran 4 miles and while I was doing that I realized that I was getting a cold. I thought it was just stuffed sinuses but it moved into my chest by Saturday night. I hate being sick and haven’t been sick in over a year. So I spent Saturday resting at mom’s. Sunday morning I took a bath and dropped my mom’s mp3 player in the tub. Still isn’t working so it looks like I will have to buy her a new one.

Sunday my mom had all of us kids and grandkids over for a Halloween party. I made some Jack Skellington and Bat cupcakes. I also dressed up the dogs. I know that is a little dorky but my nieces and nephews love it. I attached pictures.

I have still been feeling yucky so I haven’t worked out since Saturday. Hopefully I can start again tomorrow.

Janie Great job on the Firm workout and on your Cardio Coach session. I have thought about looking into Cardio Coach but I am not sure I am ready to get addicted to another thing yet. ;) Hope things are going well with your new fur friends.

Cheryl Great job on yoga. I should have done some stretching instead of just laying around but I just couldn’t get any energy going. I am starting to feel a little better and hope that another night of sleep will help.

Pam Great job on BM2. I just love the music in that one; it really gets me energized. I just read an article in the Nov/Dec Fitness magazine on how to survive the holidays and it says working out after a night of too much drinking is one of the best things to do because it sweats the alcohol out of you. Great pictures! Your mom looks so sweet and the cake looks delicious. That’s amazing that you do stained glass. You seem very creative! Wow! DWP and 30/30 plus your bonus burn. I hope I can have that kind of energy again tomorrow.

Sorry I was busy this weekend and didn't get a chance to get on the computer. As a recap Saturday was Cardio Blast, Sunday was Yoga and today I decided to start STS again. So this morning I did double wave pyramid and no equipment abs. This afternoon I did Disk 1 Chest, Shoulders and Biceps. Yesterday we went over to my brother's for lunch. He just had his kitchen redo and it is gorgeous. I wish we could afford to do something like that. Last night we had 145 kids come trick or treating. I was outside the whole time and it was a lot of fun. Even the parents got dressed up.

Pam Yes I am feeling better. Though today at work my ears felt plugged all day and I was a bit stuffed up. Funny how you can feel fine at home and the closer you get to work the worse you feel . After too much wine you could still to BM2!!!! Good for you I may have reached for something easier . Sorry that things at work aren't going well. Don't you hate it when not everyone thinks the rules apply to them? I hope that the people who are poaching from you get their wrists slapped. Your pictures are great. Your mom looks good and your glass pieces are great. Ummm chocolate peanut butter cake.

Janie The yoga is really helping me. My back hasn't felt this good in years.

Julie I hope you are feeling better soon. Colds are not fun. Oops poor MP3 player. Hopefully your mom didn't have a really fancy MP3 player. Your bat cupcakes look great. Dogs are pretty tolerant in getting dressed up. Cats on the other hand.....aren't. Take the rest that you need. You don't want to start before your body is ready.

Have a great Tuesday.

Cheryl

Julie Oh no, sorry to hear that you have been under the weather! I guess it is getting to be that time of year. Yuck! What a bummer a but the mp3 player  That would make me so mad!
I love your cupcakes, I bet they were a real hit with the kids! I like the costumes on the dogs too, although I imagine they were probably not totally thrilled. ;)
I hope you are feeling better and were able to get a workout in today.
That DWP, 30/30 and bonus burn wiped me out yesterday! I couldn't wait to go to bed last night!

Cheryl Did you go to your yoga class on Sunday? Did you ever find out what happened when the instructor didn't show up? Are you doing the STS/SC rotation? I have been thinking that I need to start STS again but I'm going to wait until after Thanksgiving at least because my schedule is going to be a little wonky with this trip to Canada coming up and then Thanksgiving. You had a big workout day yesterday! Wow! Great job!
Holy cow - 145 kids for halloween! I bet that was fun. I was really disappointed that we had so few.
That is funny how you feel fine when you are at home and then start feeling bad as you approach work. Must be that stale office air! ;)

Janie I hope you and Rolly were able to get a walk in yesterday. Have you started on your plan to befriend the beasts yet? Let us know how it's going!

This morning was Drill Max for me. I had an 8 am meeting so I didn't get my entire bonus burn finished so will have to do that tonight. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

pam

I woke up feeling a lot better today. Not 100% but pretty close. I did Legs & Glutes today. I think that was a pretty good one to do with still feeling a little congested. I am feeling pretty tired right now but hopefully after another night’s sleep I will be as good as new (or at least as good as before )!

Cheryl Great job on Cardio Blast, Yoga, DWP w/abs, and STS! You are really going to make me jealous that I won’t be doing STS until next Spring! The mp3 was pretty cheap and didn’t have a lot of songs on it. What’s funny is that when she told me I could borrow it she said only if I promised not to drop it in the tub. I told her afterwards she jinxed me! The dogs are pretty tolerant about getting dressed up but I swear they give me that look of “are you kidding me?” WOW! 145 kids! We had 16! Yes that is right 16! I bought 60 popcorn balls to give out and now I have 44 left! I think they may be coming in to work for anyone who wants them!

Pam Great job on Drill Max (and the bonus burn I know you will finish)! I really have to get better at those pushups. I haven’t done them since last Friday so I bet they will be a doozy once I start again. The kids did like the cupcakes! I always try to do something cutesy for them on the Holidays. I think my dogs only put up with getting dressed up because they know I have access to the treat dish! Otherwise, I am sure they would not let me come near them.

Walked Rolly about 45 min. Sunny and Crisp out today.

Pam, We live so far out in the boonies, that we never get Trick or Treaters. Great job on DWP and 20/30 and the bonus burns of push ups for Mon. Haven't seen dogs in the yard, it's been really crummy weather, and today (even as beautiful as it is) no dogs. I'm grateful, guz I'm a little scared.

Julie, How are you feeling lately with your cold and all? Love the pictures of the dressed up fur babies. It's been heavy rain here, so all of us are indoors. Today was so very pleasant for Rolly and me. No dogs to scare us. Great job on Legs and Glutes. Try and get a good nights sleep as you said.

Cheryl, Great job on the many workouts this weekend and the DWP, yesterday. How do ya like all those push ups form Disk 1? I'm assuming meso 1 as well. 145 kids is an awful lot. Wow!

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone,

Janie

Hello, ladies. I have read NOTHING about what you all have been up to :( but
I am still here. My back feels great and my workouts are going okay, too. I've missed a few because we were traveling a little bit, and skipped a few because of all of the other things that are crowding my plate. I may have to go back to waking up with the birds to get my workouts done.

I've been substituting almost every day for the last few weeks and will be at school every day this week, too. So much for my part-time job...:p I DO love it, though.

My husband and daughter will be gone to their hunting cabin this weekend, so I am planning to spend some time catching up here.

Have a good evening.

Helen

This morning was yoga and this evening I did STS Disk 3 Legs. I am already feeling the ouch.

Pam I did go to my yoga class on Sunday but they didn't say why the instructor didn't show up. I am doing the 3 month STS rotation that Cathe posted a long time ago. DH wants to do weight work too so yesterday and today I had him in my workout room getting him to do a few exercises. Since he isn't in good shape we are taking it slow. Cathe is way to advanced for him right now. I am trying to figure out a way to get enough stretching in, that is why I have decided to alternate cardio and stretching in the mornings and weight work in the evenings. We will see how it goes. 145 kids was a lot but it was also a lot of fun. So did you get your bonus burn in this evening?

Julie Glad that you are feeling better. Legs & Glutes is a good one to do when you are congested. I find if I can get a good nights sleep I get over the colds a lot faster. Your mother did jinx you with that MP3 player didn't she. Good thing it was a cheap one. Ummmm I love popcorn balls. My mom used to make them for Halloween. You could always send some up my way :D

Janie Glad that you could get your walk in without the other dogs. Those push ups are hard. I don't know how they do it. I can do most of them on my toes but my arms start to shake so much I have to go to my knees. 145 kids isn't too bad, another person I work with got almost 250. Now that's a lot :D

HelenGlad that you are back here again and that your back is feeling better. Morning workouts seem to be the best because nothing else gets in your way. It is hard getting up early though, isn't it. Well at least you love your "part-time" job. I guess all of the teachers are now starting to get sick?
Does your daughter hunt too, or does she go to keep DH company?

Have a great Wendesday.

Cheryl

Julie Glad to hear that you are feeling so much better so quickly. How nce to bounce back so fast! Leg's and Glutes was a perfect choice for when you are congested. I hope you got another good night's sleep last night.
Oh my goodness, I can't believe your mother told you not to drop her mp3 player in the tub and you did, she DEFINITELY jinxed you!
I can't remember the last time I had a popcorn ball! I have had my share (and then some!) of caramel corn this year though because the neighborhood boys were selling it for boys couts and it is SO good! I have been afraid to try the triple chocolate version.
I am getting absolutely no better at my pushups even doing them every day  I'm not sure it will ever happen, but I will keep at it at least for the rest of this rotation.
I usually do some kind of cutesy treat for halloween too, but we didn't go to the neighborhood party this year so I didn't do any.

Janie It's getting nice and crisp here too. We had 90 a week ago and now we are in the 50s-60s  That is the one reliable thing about fall weather here - it's totally unpredicable! I'm glad that you have been able to enjoy your walks without worrying about the dogs. That is just an aggravation that you shouldn't have to deal with!

Helen Nice to hear from you! I hope you are doing well. I'm glad to hear that your back is doing well and that you have been almost keeping up with your workouts, sounds like you have been keeping quite busy. I find that if I don't do my workouts first thing in the morning then I often don't get them done because other things get in the way. It is a pain getting up so early though. Although I don't get up as early as Julie or Cheryl!

Cheryl Disk 3 - OUCH is right. I remember having DOMs for days after that one! You are doing great with your double workouts. Wow!
Congratulations on getting your DH to do some weight work with you, that is awesome. My DH decided to do a little weight work last week and he hurt his shoulder doing it! Then Sunday he played basketball and smashed down on his elbow  the hazards of staying in shape!
I did get my bonus burn in last night - I forced myself!

This morning was Low Max plus my bonus burn. It's only the second time I've ever done Low Max and both times it felt really long to me. This rotation has been a toughie, I'm glad this is the last week. I think I might do the first week of Cathe's November rotation next week and then I'll have a week off when I travel to Canada and then maybe restart it when I get back. It's the Hiit week so I'm thinking that might be good before and after taking a week off. Of course I might change my ming, but that is what I'm thinking right now :p Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Pam

Did Step Fit today. Gotta love those thong leotards and big white scrunchies. :D Definitely makes working out before 4 am a little easier!! I also started working in my pushups again. I did 8, 8, and 12 on my toes and then did another 18 on my knees.

Janie Great job on the walk! I wish my dogs could last 45 minutes but with one being 10 ½ and the other having hip dysplasia, there is no way they could last more than 20 minutes! I got decent sleep. Wished it would have been better. Here’s hoping tonight is good though! I assume since Joey has been back home your insomnia has gone away!

Helen Great to see you are back (and that your back is feeling great)! Good job on keeping up with your workouts when you can. I find that can be really tough to just workout when you can because sometimes finding that time can be hard but looks like you are doing well. I imagine that subbing picks up a bit during the wintery months because of teachers being sick. Enjoy your time this weekend catching up.

Cheryl I really need to start doing more yoga or at least doing some of the Stretch Max routines once or twice a week. I bet incorporating yoga in your routines really helps you. I agree that sleeping colds off is one of the best ways to get better. I also stayed home on Monday and didn’t work out (which was tough for me to do) and I think that really helped. If I hadn’t done that, I probably would still be sick. I would send the popcorn balls your way but I just found out we have a program here at work that will send leftover Halloween candy to the soldiers overseas.

Pam Great job on finishing your bonus burn (I knew you would) and on Low Max. I agree that Low Max seems long. It really is only about 10 minutes longer than the regular Imaxes and actually has 3 less interval/blast combos. I guess it just seems long because she spends time breaking down the step combo which she doesn’t do in the Imaxes. I think your plan sounds like a good one! I love the Hiit workouts.

Today I took the morning off but this evening I did STS Disk 2 Back and Triceps.

Pam I am really feeling it in my butt cheeks...ouch. But it is a good ouch :D. Today DH told me that his back hurt and not in a good way. He also suffers from lower back pain. I told him to rest today and we will see how he is doing tomorrow. Maybe he can do some bicep work if his back doesn't hurt too much. I think men try to do too much too soon sometimes instead of working up to it. That is probably why they get hurt. Good job on getting your bonus burn done. When do you leave for Ontario and how long will you be there? It could take some time to get the cabin cleared out unless you are getting more help.

Pam Those outfits in Step Fit are good for a chuckle aren't they. Good job on the pushups. I have found since I have gotten older I really do need to incorporate stretching. Sometimes I was so stiff I felt like the tin man in the Wizard of Oz. If you aren't feeling well it is good to take a day off no matter how hard it is. When we workout at home and not a gym it makes it easier just to go downstairs and try to do something. That is a good program to send the candy to the soldiers, I know they need it more than I do. It gives them a little bit of home.

Have a great Thursday. Almost the weekend.....

I'll be back later for my check in but Julie I just wanted to let you know that a Cathlete just posted on facebook that she is selling her entire STS set for $200. I know you have been talking about buying it so thought you might be interested. Her name is Annette Simmons-Brown and I posted a response telling her that I know someone who might be interested. Let me know if you are and I can try to get you 2 hooked up if she still has it!

Julie, if you are interested send me a PM with your email address and I will send it to her. She said that she disabled her account here but I can send her a PM on FB.

Pam

OK, now I'm back for the checkin!
Julie I don't have Step fit but that is one that I am thinking about getting. How do you like it? I always crack up at the thong leotards and white scrunchies in those old workouts! Good for you getting back to your pushups. It isn't fair that only a couple of days off makes them so much harder again is it?!
I saw a story on the news last week about a dentist who started a program to buy kids halloween candy from them for $1 a pound. He first started a few years ago and everyone said no one would sell him their candy. Apparently now there are several dentists who participate in the program and they send all of the candy that they collect to the troops overseas. Very cool idea!

Cheryl Hope your butt is feeling better today! :p Maybe the pain in your back and triceps will make it seem better anyway  Sorry to hear about DHs back. He needs to take it easy with his back issues!! Your plan for biceps work sounds like a good one. He could even do the bicep work sitting in a chair with back support to keep it from bothering his back.
We are going to be in Ontario for a week and I am very worried that it won't be long enough to get everything done. My plan tough is to figure out what she wants to keep and then call 1-800-GOT-JUNK and have them come and take everything else away. The tricky part will be getting my mother to agree to that plan. The good thing though is I read that they don't just throw everything away - they give things to charity where possible. My mom is talking about putting an ad in the local paper to seel some things while we are there - ummmmmmm....I don't think we have time for that. And it isn't like she has the place loaded with fine things. She had a couple of fairly new things that she has already given away and the appliances are going with the house. All I can say is wish me luck! We do have some family that will be coming to help also and at least one of the neighbors up there.

Janie You've been awfully quiet, hope you are doing ok!

This morning was Imax2. It felt good, especially after getting past those 1 legged hops! Then I did my bonus burn and I may try to do some abs tonight.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Pam

I did Pyramid Lower Body plus Muscle Endurance Abs today. I forgot how hard the stability ball floorwork of PLB is. I just can’t seem to keep my hips lifted. I’d like to say it is because I have short legs and can’t propel myself up far enough but I doubt Cathe would buy that! ;) I didn’t have time to do any extra pushups so I might try to do that when I get home. I did do segment 3 of Stretch Max last night when I got home. It felt so good!!!

Cheryl Good job on Back and Triceps! Back is one of my favorite muscles to work. I just feel so strong when I work it. Triceps on the other hand … I feel pretty weak when I do those. I think doing Stretch Max last night really helped push me through PLB today. I often forget about incorporating an additional stretching routine if it is not already in my rotation. I think I am just going to have to get better at that. I hope your DH’s back is feeling better soon. Back problems are such a hassle. You can be going along fine and then BAM you get sidelined with a back injury that can take so long to heal.

Pam Great job on Imax2. Those Jeannie hops get me everytime. I keep thinking, “is this the last set?”. Step fit was fun. I think I would have enjoyed it more if 1) I had more room to do some of the moves and 2) I actually listened to Cathe’s instructions and walked forward around the step instead of backward! That last one is my own stupidity. I kept getting messed up during one of the sections and ending up on the wrong side of the step facing the wrong direction and couldn’t figure out why. Then it hit me when Cathe said for the 100th time, to pay attention to whether you are walking forward or backward around the step. I’ll be doing Power Max tomorrow which is on the same DVD. I’ll let you know how that one is too. That sounds like a neat program that the Dentists have going on. I am not sure that when I was a kid, I would have sold my candy! :p Your mom sounds a lot like mine. It is hard for her to get rid of anything. She wants to hoard it all because what if she needs it one day or what if one of her kids or grandkids need it one day. I tried telling her if we haven’t needed it in the 20 years she has been storing it, chances are we can make it another 20! She would rather hold on to something and give it to family than pitch it or give it to charity. Good luck!

Janie I hope your quiet because you are walking Rolly and making friends!

I truly thought that I posted yesterday, but I didn't. Hmmmmmm. Walked Rolly this morning was able to sneak around dogs today (I think I've been lucky and catching it just right). I'm still very frightened of them. Once we face each other, then will see how it goes.

Went to the doctor to see about thingies on my face. One of them was precancerous and the other two were just things. She froze them off. Will see her again in January to see how they are doing along with a pap smear and a mammogram. I like to get all that stuff done early in the year..

Cheryl, Great job on STS Back and Triceps. Hope your butt is feeling better too. Well done on those exercises.

Pam, It's always hard to move your parent. We had to do that with both parents (at different times). They hated getting rid of their stuff because of downsizing. Not fun. Giving it to charity is good, even though they may not be worth too much. Seems there are people that will buy it and need it. Great job on IMAX 2 and bonus burn. You ladies are amazing doing those.

Julie, Great job on PLB and abs. and Stretch Max segment 3. It is a challenging workout.

See you all later,

Janie

This morning was MMA Boxing. DH wanted to do some weight work tonight so I had him working his biceps, triceps and shoulders. His back is better but not 100% so I have to be careful in the exercises that I have him do.

Pam My butt is feeling better. Funny I didn't have much pain in my back or triceps. A week will go by really fast. Hopefully your mother agrees to your plan. I agree that you won't have enough time to put an ad in the paper. Good luck in getting the cabin cleaned up.

Julie I have problems getting my hips lifted off the floor too. It feels like they are high in the air but when I see myself in the mirror they really aren't  Sometimes I feel strong when I do triceps, other days not so much.....
The stretching really does help. I know it is hard to fit it in but it feels good when you do. I will be doing two segments of stretch max tomorrow morning. I am not sure which two yet. Back problems are not fun and you are right that it takes a long time to get on track.

Janie It is good that you can get things frozen off now. Glad that your doctor got it at the precacerous stage. Mammograms are such fun , I get mine done on November 13th. I am always surprised that they get back to a normal shape after being squished within an inch of their life :D.

Happy Friday everyone.

Cheryl

Julie I don't have PLB or PUB yet and they are in the November rotation so trying to decided if I should get the downloads. What do you think of them? Did you get your pushups in last night? I can't beleive I have been doing 40 pushups every day for a month and they are not the least bit easier! I don't get it!
I hate hate hate the jeannie hops! I am not wondering if it's the last set because I know exactly where I am and am counting down to the end of them every time  Of course that is one of the longest intervals too! I do have power max - i had it on VHS and copied it to DVD. I love that one, I hope you enjoy it!
Our mother's sound a lot alike! Mine had a big box of books that she had already read. She wouldn't give them to charity, she had to give them to someone that she knew. As long as she got rid of them I was ok with it, but I know it will be a struggle next wek since we don't have time to find someone to take everything.

Janie That is funny that you thought you had posted and didn't Maybe you wrote it and never submitted it? I think it will be really good if you can make friends with the dogs and then you won't have that fear hanging over you every time you go out for your walks. Of course it would be better if they weren't there at all, but when life gives you lemons.......;)

Glad to hear that you caught the thingies on your face early. That can be scary stuff. Pap smear and mammogram. yuck. I am overdue for my mammogram, need to schedule that.

Cheryl Glad to hear that DHs back is doing better. You are doing great with the workouts this week! I'm glad that you butt is feeling better! :p

This morning I was supposed to do KPC, but since I just did that one as a sub for Kick Max I did cardio kicks instead. I really like cardiio kicks, it is definitely my favorite kickbox workout. Of course I did my bonus burn too and I am now convinced that pushups never get easier. What is up with that?! Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Pam

Did Power Max today. It was fun! Despite my legs being ultra sore from PLB, I was able to get through it! I forgot to do my pushups last night  but I did do them this morning.

Janie That’s good that you caught the one thingie while it was still precancerous. I haven’t had a mammogram yet but from what I am told they are just too much fun. I am all set for my yearly pap smear next Wednesday. Just love those! Nothing like being completely exposed and vulnerable! ;) Great job on your walk and missing the beasts. I agree with Pam that once you make friends with the beasts and stop fearing them, your walks will be so much more enjoyable. I know it is going to be hard but really try to not show your fear at all. Remember that dogs can sense emotions in people and if they know you fear them, it will be harder for you to befriend them. Maybe try visualizing yourself meeting up with them and giving them treats and just being relaxed around them?!

Cheryl Great job on MMA Boxing. I don’t have that one but want it so bad. I love the tough feeling I get in kickboxing and boxing workouts! Good to hear DH is feeling better. I don’t have mirrors I can see myself in but I can sometimes see my reflection in the glass doors of my entertainment center. Sometimes, I think “WOW! I’m looking good!” and then there are those times when I say, “Whoa! That is not pretty!” I am thinking about getting mirrors put up when we get our exercise room put back together. I think they would be great for watching my form during weightlifing.

Pam Great job on Cardio Kicks-that is a fun workout to do! I love PLB and PUB! PLB has some weight work and then you go the floor for some stability ball leg work that is really difficult after you have just worked so hard with weights. PUB has a great upper body weight workout and then you get to do an awesome stability ball ab workout at the end. The ab workout is super tough because you do planks and pikes on the ball which with arms that feel like jello after lifting weights makes it even harder! Hope that helped! I agree that the pushups do not get any easier. I am beginning to think that not everyone is destined to be a pushup queen like Cathe! Good luck next week!

Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

Joey and I did TBS using heavy weight.

I did it! At least I petted two dogs and gave them treats, or was that the other way around. I even held Rolly for one dog, I didn't let it get tooooo close to Rolly yet. Still can't walk with Rolly, because I don't know what they will do to him yet. We'll take it slow and easy. When I gave the Mastiff a treat, (my was he slobbery, slime was just running down to the ground) and as I was walking away, he growled and barked. (I could just imagine him biting me, he was so darned close) Was that because he wanted more, do you suppose? He followed me to my door. Oh, you guys, my hair was on end, but I didn't show fear. Have to tell you, when I got in the house I was so shaken, and my heart was beating so fast. But, I didn't show that part to the dogs. The second dog I like, she seems old and as nervous as I was, but there was something about her. The third dog kept at a distance, he wasn't going to have any part of it, except barking as loud as he could. WHEW! I did it and it's a start.

Maybe later I can take Rolly out for a walk when they aren't there. Not ready to do that yet with these dogs. Rolly safety first.

Cheryl, This will be my first mammogram since I had my implants out. What a story that one is, but to make a very long story short, I had complications, and they will have to get use to these breasts as they take pictures.

Great job on MMA Boxing. Really nice to hear your DH is exercising and feeling better.

Pam, I'm trying to make lemonade with these dogs. So far so good. I even got approval by my Joey.

Great job on CK and bonus burn. I don't know why the push ups aren't getting any easier. Hmmmmmm.

Julie, Great job on Power Max. Are your push ups still very hard?

Hope everyone gets an appointment to do pap smears, mammograms and check out your skin for thingies and have them checked out by a professional if in doubt.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Janie

This morning I did Stetch Max #1 and #3. Just found out that we will be dog sitting the neighbours dog tomorrow and into Sunday. The person who was going to look after him jammed out on them so we said we would help them out. We have never had him overnight before......the cats will be soooo happy.

Pam DHs back is doing better. I had him do some chest and back work tonight. I am trying to get him doing exercises where he can sit or lie down to do them since his lower back isn't very strong. It was a tough week doing two workouts a day. I think I am going to try doing the weight work in the morning and stretching in the afternoon next week. I want to see which way works best. It does help not working the long hours, so the extra hour I get at home is nice. Cardio Kicks is a fun workout. Pushups never get easier. I think Cathe is a robot :D.

Julie You are doing a lot of the older workouts. What is nice is that even though they are older workouts they are still tough. Having mirrors does help with your form, even though there are the days when you wish you couldn't see yourself .

Jaine That must have been nerve racking to pet the two dogs. I think Mastiffs are slobbery dogs. I think that is just so gross. I like dogs that don't slobber all over you. I bet he barked because he wanted more treats. Good for you for doing that. Eventually things will get easier. Sorry to hear that you had complication with your implants. I thought about getting them but that is as far as it went. I just buy really heavily padded bras to make me look like I got me some.....
DH is doing some weight work. I hope it will last.

Tomorrow I am going to another Norwex party at my neighbours. I really don't need anything but I am sure I can find something to buy.

Have a great Saturday everyone.
