Limecat's Thursday Poser

I always wanted to be a ballerina too. I would also like to be that person in Road Races that always wins! I can't imagine winning one of those things. I won my age group in one last summer and I think that I was happier than the person who won! :D

I'd go back and figure skate again. ;) Unfortunately, I was considered a senior citizen in skating by the time I was just 16. I remember going away for college at 17 and knowing that was it for skating. :'( I taught a few camps during the summer, but slowly got out of skating all together. I haven't been on the ice in a good 4-5 years. :(

Swimming--the only sporty thing I ever excelled at at all. (I never did it competitively, but took a class my senior year of high school and the coach said he wished I'd started with him as a freshman.)

I would be a gymnist. Of course I have no flexibility, coordination or balance, so I am not so sure it would work :D

I have three Figure Skater, Gymnist, swimmer. However, I would probably fall on my face while skating, tear a few muscles while doing floor work, so therefore, I chose swimming.

Definetely a figure skater. I tried when I was younger and I sucked. But I'm going to assume this question doesn't necessarily pertain to what you are good at but rather a sport you'd like to do professionally and be good at.

I'm rambling...sorry.

Figure Skater!! I competed for about 10 years when I was younger and loved it.

DH says it's a toss up between bowling and competitive fishing (he's home this morning and being nosey :p).

I can't make up my mind between gymnastics or something in martial arts.

JJ - I swear we are like twins separated at birth!!! ;) I need to dig up some of my old pictures. That was before "digital" cameras, so they are in an old album somewhere. I even had the Dorthy Hamill hair cut and everything!

OMG...Yes! Dorothy Hamill hair and all. I'd love to see your pics. This one is from our annual figure skating show. I was the last person on the precision line and always worried I wouldn't be able to catch up as the line rotated:eek:

I assumed the same thing...there's no way I could play baseball with my current skills (or lack thereof)!

Lol, you just had to LOVE those annual shows! We didn't have a precision team when I was skating, but they always made us all get together and do a precision performance in the show. We had maybe 2 practices and the levels ranges from beginners to advanced. The poor girls at the end of the line had to hold on for all they were worth. Good times.... Michael Weiss always came to our shows though and performed. So at least someone looked good!

Hard to say. Off the top of my head I would say a Gymnist. they are so muscular & do such cool things. W/O injury of course!!

DANCING!

All kinds of different dances to learn and do perfectly and professionally.

Is that a sport? If not, then body fitness.

I suck at all sports, but I would not mind having a female version of Lance Armstrongs physique! I love that wiry look. But then cycling is the most boring sport I can think of, while figure skating looks downright fun, so I am torn.

What about you Shelley?

tennis or downhill skiing...leaning towards the skiing as i prefer winter sports....and i prefer competing against myself more than against others.....
