Belinda, I think that over the years Kelly Coffey's workouts have improved. She is looking in great shape too :) I hear that about different instructors. That is not good for people new to fitness but I just try to do it right. I do like how Sagi straightens his crew out on their form. Autumn does too in these new workouts.

I saw that Kelly Coffey is having a sale for 9.99 per workout and free shipping not including the two new workouts :p I have most of hers.

Diane Sue, I agree Kelly is in great shape! That's a great price on KCM DVD's :) Nice workout today.

Hey girls,

I am done with ICE Metabolic Total Body MishMosh Premix:
Scrambled #1 Changes the order of some rounds and mixes in some Blizzard Blast intervals. - 53:07

Have a great Saturday.

Hallo again,

I also did Weight Loss Walking (4 DVD's) Walking for Weight Loss = 43 min. You probably wondering why I am working out so hard, lol? Well, my son is getting married the end of this month. DH and I will drive in our RV for 3 day's, not sure how much/how many workouts I get in? I usually workout in the RV with no problem, but I want to make sure I am not behind my weekly dvd goal :)

Have a wonderful day and workout, everyone.

This morning I did Chisel Agility, 38 minutes, 227 calories followed by Glute Chisel from the Deluxe set of Hammer and Chisel, 18 minutes, 93 calories. Total time was 56 minutes and calories burned 320. Chisel Agility was no equipment, with a few interesting moves. Autumn calls the directions you move through each exercise to keep you thinking. Some jumping in this one. 15 minute Glute Chisel was done with an 8# medicine ball throughout, all standing except the bridge work with one foot on the stability ball at the end. There is a bit of jumping in this and some overhead with the med ball.

Belinda, I understand the working out harder before you take off. We used to travel with a fifth wheel and I could manage some workouts on the trips. That's a l long trip. Your son must live quite a long way from you. My children and grandchildren are all within 30 miles of us. I imagine there will be grandchildren marrying before too many years pass :)

Diane Sue, my son lives in DC and the wedding is in El Paso, TX. His fiancé family is from there :) Our RV is 34 feet long, lot's of room to workout. I live in WV, about an hour from DC. I hope my son/fiancé wait awhile before they have kids, lol. Good just on your your workouts.

I loved my eat, drink and be merry plan this year, but today was back to reality.

I did my first ICE, I started with Rock'm Sock'm. I did all jumps and higher impact. My knee only complained once during a set of jump kicks. Very happy that I can maybe start doing more impact again.

I did the mish mosh premix with the cardio twice and then the BB (actually I did the BB twice too), then I threw on the MM - triceps and then core 1. I wore weighted gloves and that bothered me somewhat. My bursitis has now triggered my carpal tunnel to start acting up. My right hand keeps going numb. Except for the numbness in my hand, I liked it, but I needed to go longer to get my heart rate going.

My plan is to sample all of the ICE workouts this week. I will be keeping my weights lighter this week because of my shoulder and carpal tunnel. I will also be throwing in some PiYo.

Belinda, I can completely understand working out harder now before your trip. Diane Sue, I have been reading your H&C updates. This was a program I am interested in, but don't want to get now.

Cat Girl, I had carpal tunnel years ago. I had surgery and never had a problem with it again. Now it is just plain old arthritis that I deal with. Nice job with the Ice workouts. I feel the same way about ice after I have read you ladies workouts on here. I really am not needing it since I am doing Hammer and Chisel. If I can push myself till May I could ask for it for Mother's Day.

Diane Sue, I will be seeing the doctor this year about my carpal tunnel. It was really bad 9 years ago in both hands and I was hoping for surgery. My doctor decided to treat with a steroid injection directly into the carpal tunnel. It took two weeks, but then I was pain and symptom free until the last year. Most of the time, it isn't very bad, usually just first thing in the morning. But somehow this bursitis thing has triggered it bad. I've gone back to wearing my wrist splints most of the time. The pain is not very bad at all, but my hand goes completely numb. I figured that the ICE workouts for one body part a day would be good at this time. I was able to hold weights ok for 15 minutes yesterday, but longer than that I think I would have problems.

Back from vacation and back to my own workout space. I signed up for on demand and did my first ICE this am... Metabolic total body and the BB. While it was good I had to increase weights on every move but triceps.
I had wondered how they would be made intermediate but even with the heavier weight (up to 20's on some moves) it still felt intermediate. The blizzard blast even felt easier than say supercuts or x10 low impact.

Today I did BM2 Cardio Blast followed by ICE LI Sweat (including BB and MM-Back). When I previewed the ICE Sweat DVD I could tell that it was going to be easy for me so I did BM2 Cardio blast first to get things going (now have to take off a few pounds from my eat, drink and be merry time). Just a few and it will be gone quick as I plan on doing doubles for most of the month. I have time this week so I am sampling all of ICE to try to find out the intensity level and how to make it work for me.

I found ICE Sweat Cardio 1 to be too easy for me. Cardio 2 with the step was much better, and in the future, I will raise up the risers and use heavier weights for this one. The BB was a little more challenging. In the future, I would probably do a mix of Cardio 2, BB, Cardio 2, BB to make it work for me.

This is the second MM that I have done, and I found both of them still challenging for me. Yesterday on the triceps, I couldn't even come close to Cathe's weight (I refer to my triceps as baby triceps as I seem to have issues trying to go heavier than 8 pounds). I keep at it though.

On the MM Back, I can match on rows and deadlifts, but still had to lighten up on pullovers.

BTW, one of my new year's resolutions was to be able to match Cathe on weights by the end of the year (which for me means shoulders, chest and triceps mainly). My husband got me pace weights for Christmas this year to be able to try to slowly take it up.

Dmerz, I agree that on the intermediate aspect. I read a post (some time before) from the forum administrator that what makes something intermediate vs. advanced is not necessarily the exercise, but in the sequencing. I think that this is true. Also, I notice a little longer rest between the exercises. I know in supercuts or anything in the RWH series that it MOVES. Very jealous of On Demand, but since I own almost everything Cathe has ever done, I just can't justify it. Happy Blending. Although I did sign up for LIVE and I love that.

Good afternoon,

I just did JS 5 Mile Fat Burning Miles plus both bonus workouts. One bonus workout was The strong feet and Ankles = 15 min, the 2nd workout was The strong knees & Hips = 15 min. Really liked both lower body stretches. I also did GIAM Upper Body BalanceBall workout w/Suzanne Deason = 40 min. Great arm/ back/chest opener. I really needed those stretches today. I need to start doing more yoga/stretches. I am so stiff these day's :(

Waving Hi to everyone that checks in after me.

Today was ICE Low Impact Sweat (both sections and the blizzard blast). I wore my HR monitor and it registered a max HR of 174 and 453 cal. I loved this one and may end up buying it since I can't really keep up on the OnDemand subscription. (1. Cost and 2. I have to take my laptop to the wo room and that is a pain). I think that the premixes would be great since there were some new fun moves. These Low Impact cardio workouts really get a lot of use by me since I don't always like to jump!

Good morning,

Today I did STS M3 W4 D34 (chest & back) + XTrain Core #1 and 100 Reps Triceps :) I am done for today.

dmerz, I hear you on dragging your computer around just to get a workout in. Gad you like ICE LIS. Next week I will play around with them.

Good job on your workouts, everyone. BBL!

Today was Hammer and Chisel Hammer Power with Sagi, 39minutes, 232 calories. I then did X train All Out Low Impact Hiit floor and step mix, 32 minutes, 270 calories. Total time was 72 minutes and calories burned 502. was going to do a quick hiit workout but I checked and tomorrow is power chisel and has weights and some jumping plyo stuff mixed in. Actually the choice is power chisel or chisel balance which I have done once so want to check out the other workout.
Hammer Power was power lifting. Sagi starts you out at light to medium weight and you build into the moves that will be put together later. Then the second half it gets more intense with some heavier weights lifted for 5 reps through he power lifting moves.
It starts out at 10 reps light weight then 10 reps medium weight
overhead press light 10# each hand
overhead press med. 15#
squat light 10# each hand
squat medium 15# each hand
thruster 10's
thruster 15's
change to 5 reps
jack press left 10# each hand
jack press right light 10# each hand
jack press left medium 15# each hand
jack press right medium 15#
back to 10 reps
deadlift light 15#ea. hand
deadlift medium 20# ea.
shrug light 10# ea.
shrug w/ extension med 15# ea.
upright row light 12# ea.
full upright row 15# ea.
clean light 10 a.
full range clean 12# ea.
Round 2
clean and press light 10# ea.10 reps
clean and press heavy 20# ea. 5 reps
clean and squat light 10 reps 10# ea
clean and squat heavy 5 reps 20# ea. hand
clean squat press light 10# ea 10 reps
clean squat press heavy 5 reps 20# ea
clean squat jerk left light 5 reps 10# ea. (they messed me up a bit here because light is lower reps)
clean squat jerk right light 5 reps 10# ea.
clean squat jerk heavy 5 reps 20# ea. ( I am still confused here because the worksheet has one heavy and I know I did something wrong but didn't have time between to look) I think it was light and heavy then light and heavy.
1 arm clean squat jerk light left 10 reps 10#
1 arm clean and squat jerk heavy left 5 reps 17.5#
1 arm clean and squat jerk light right 10 reps 10#
1 arm clean and squat jerk heavy right 5 reps 17.5#

WD - Hammer Power looks really good. Probably the most different looking workout of any of them so far that you have reviewed! I love clean and presses, clean and jerks, etc. You don't see them in many workouts. Too bad you can't just get individual workouts!

Quick check in : I also did Leslie Swanson Walk it Off in 30 Days - Burn 30 workout = 30 min. It's to cold and windy for a walk outside.

Diane Sue, your workouts look amazing.

I will be back tomorrow.

Today my carpal tunnel problem was very minimal so I opted to do RWH LB circuit with RWH LI Cardio 2. I was able to go heavy on my weights and haven't had a problem with my right hand yet. Was able to match Cathe's weights on both and sometimes exceed, except for the one segment where they do dead lifts with 25# in each hand. I'm still at 20# each for dead lifts. Have to be careful with my lower back since I actually broke my back and have had multiple surgeries. Hope that I can start upping a little with my new pace weights to get a little stronger there, but if not I'm happy compared to where I was a few years ago.

Diane Sue, I am really liking the format for H&C. Maybe in May, I can ask for my birthday, and you can get ICE for MD.

Dmerz, yesterday when I wore my HR monitor I could only get 306 cal from the same ICE workout. I think my body is overly efficient and doesn't burn much. I'm always much lower in cal counts.

I also have to use my laptop in my workout room.

I am back. I really have been reading everyone's posts, just a lot of things to do and running in and out the door every time I turn around :) I really liked todays Power Hammer. I went light because I really wasn't sure what I was in for. I pretty much stuck with what the female of the group did. I have done similar stuff though with Kettle bell workouts and Kelly Coffey's Olympic Lifting workout. I think Sagi did a better job than most of breaking it down. I saw that Tony Horton is coming out with a Military Boot camp type workout series. Short workouts. I watched the clip though and was thinking how much I do not enjoy those tons of burpees etc..

Catgirl, that sounds like a plan. Getting Ice has been so tempting. I keep thinking I could use some of the cardio for add on :) I really have plenty of workouts though. I hardly ever get a good calorie burn on my workouts. Usually it is just some unusual happening. It takes me a good 20 minutes just to get the HR to start moving up and it drops back fast on breaks. I often add intensity trying to get it up more and still I never get where the workout manager or others get to. But , I do think it is good, it means our bodies are more efficient and actually we are not wearing the heart down so much because it has to work so hard. :D

dmertz, yes, Beach Body is pretty good about making it where you have to buy things that you don't want. I had so many stability balls that I gave them to my daughter so her and the other teachers could use them in their classrooms for students that needed them I still don't use the beachbody ball. I use a Theraband anti burst ball I bought years ago and my bosu ballast ball. They started adding b lines to some of the workouts and I already had purchased some of those along with the ones from Cathe's. Fortunately they are starting to sell some of them without all of the extra stuff. Now if they could just do individual workouts :) I hate dragging my computer upstairs and hooking it up to stream stuff. I bought a cable to use my tablet but it only works with my Galaxy S5 phone. So I have to stream with the phone. That is inconvenient when I get messages and phone calls.

Belinda, it has been so cold here too. I don't even like to go out to the store but it can't be helped. My dog would love it if I went out for a walk.
You have been doing well on your goals :)

Today was ICE upper body blast and mm chest. I didn't go heavy enough on upper body.

I'm thinking these so far are great workouts for beg/int. I'm Struggling to make the hard enough for me.

Today I think I mentioned already that I had the option of Chisel Balance which I have already done or Power Chisel which is from the deluxe dvd
along with Chisel 10 minute abs. Power Chisel was 29 minutes , 169 calories ( I was surprised since the worksheets were two pages) and Chisel abs was 11 minutes 61 calories. I added on The Masters Hammer and Chisel cardio free bonus, 17 minutes, 117 calories.
Power Chisel went like this:
a set of 4 reps hold light weight 4 times then a set of a heavy move 10 reps There is an ab work segment thrown in a few times
med ball squat jumps 4 reps hold 4 times 8#
squat heavy 10 reps 40# each hand
