Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

Diane Sue - KC Meltdown looks really good. Good work on the weights. I didn't see her YT video - I will have to check it out. I've never really clicked with Kelly. I only have one of her's. I've checked a couple other out from the library over the years but haven't purchased.

This morning I did RIPT 90 FIT Hard Core Chest. Its a great workout. Supersets of Chest and Core isolation moves. 6 reps per set of chest (so you can go heavy) for 6 sets. So for example you finish a chest press and go right into the v-sit hold. I thought I was going to die though because the finisher was 25 burpees with a strict pushup. So far I like this set even better than the first set. They are still short, straight forward but with better warmups and a cool-down. I might get them on DVD though so I don't have to keep streaming just to plug them into a rotation here and there.

I followed with a few minutes of ICE Rockem Sockem to finish out to about 45 minutes.
 
Today I did Kelly Coffey Body Design mix, cardio bootcamp, light dumbbell sculpting, and weighted kickbox, heart rate 124 avg. / 156 max, 46 minutes, 305 calories. I wanted to check out the workout I have been wanting to get polished out on my new dvd player and it worked perfectly:) It was Keli Roberts, Polyperformance Metabolic Plyometric Circuits, (skipped the warm up) 47 heart rate 120/ 160 max 318 calories,. Total time today was 93 minutes, calories burned 623. 7581 steps this morning. I have to go out to get a birthday present for my youngest grandchild and molly bolts to hang my bedroom curtains.

Belinda, good job getting in Chisel Total Body today. I like that one.

Doreen, I like Kelly Coffey. She has such a wide variety of workouts and styles so you might try some others. Meltdown was a good one. I like the Body Design , but it is light weight. What I did today she said not to go over 5# and really that was plenty for most of it. I like her heavier weight work.
 
This morning I did Lung burner and Shoulders and arms from the RIPT 90 FiT series.
Lung burner is cardio, three rounds of 5 exercises, burpee, squat jumps, mtn climbers, swings, jump lunges. Its simple but not easy!
Shoulder and arms is straighforward as well. Right now I'm liking this set. Definately nothing fancy.

Today I did Cross Fire, with the bonus abs, 65 minutes, 439 calories. I then did Kelly Coffey Body Design Upper, cool down and yoga, 34 minutes, 106 calories. Total time was 99 minutes, 545 calories.
Weights Body Design Upper
Each exercise is done 3 times 10 reps 1 dumbbell all right then all left except dips which alternates sides
1 arm dumbbell row 25# 10 reps 3X
lateral raise 10# 10 reps 3X
boxer pledge curls 10# 10 reps 3X ( I could have went heavier)
dips 1 arm 10 reps right then 10 reps left no sitting back onto the bench between 4 times
1 arm chest press Kelly used 20# I used 15# 10 reps 3X

Belinda, it seems like you are really getting through the Hammer and Chisel workouts.
 
Today I did X Train All Out Low Impact Hiit step , disc, and core mix, 36 minutes, 252 calories. I then did Kelly Coffey Body Design Lower body increasing the weight from what I used the first time, 17 minutes, 54 calories, finishing off with Barre Amped Bounce thigh bounce, and booty bounce, 112 calories wearing 3# ankle weights. Total time 81 minutes,

This morning I did Amy Bento all cardio hi- low knockout. I did all the combos and then all the knockouts.

Hi,

Today I did ISO Strength Chisel plus walking. I am dragging today, we had lots of thunder last night. Been up with Brawler since 2 am :( I am surprised I am still awake, lol.

Been kinda busy lately figuring out lightning for the basement. Can't really find anything that doesn't cost over $100. I need 6 lights. I am looking at recessed lighting. We already have recessed lighting, just need to add 6 more. DH is afraid of the industrial lights hanging to low. I forgot to mention, we been using the basement/gym for our workouts. We need door handles and those 6 recessed lights. I will post pictures soon :)

Diane Sue - can't remember the last time I did Cross Fire? Nice job yesterday.

Doreen - nice job on Amy today. One of my favorite!

Doreen, you keep reminding me that I have some fun Amy workouts. I really do like that one.

Belinda, we had thunderstorms last night with lightening and winds. It poured. I didn't sleep much either. I had my grandson over and got up several times to check on him and to make sure our sun room was not leaking. It does that sometimes when the winds and rain are just right. We have sealed it once. My husband wants to put up a regular roof and get rid of the glass roof. It is more a headache than anything else. Summer it is extremely hot and winter it is very cold. Lighting is very expensive. I would like to change the lighting on my spiral stairs so that I have one hanging since it is too stories up and hard to change. They have a floodlight type light up there and in the entry at the bottom. It would look nice but we have spent so much already on all of this other remodeling. The painters couldn't even come to do prep work on the outside this weekend like planned since it has been pouring rain. I would love to see pictures when you are finished. I bet it is nice being able to do your workouts in the basement.
 
Diane Sue- and you remind me that I haven't done crossfire in a long time either.
I reorganized my workout dvds this weekend by putting them on a shelf my hubby had picked up on sale.. no more stacks on top of my dvd player!

This morning I did Ript fit. Total body Fat breakdown. A metabolic workout. It wad only 25 minutes so I added on Tapless step first 4 combos tho get some steps.

Today I did Power Chisel (love it) + 10 min ab Chisel (that one was tough). I also did Zcut #2 Kettlebell workout w/warm up & cool down.

Diane Sue - it's raining here again :( Had it with this weather. I hear you on lighting being very expensive and spending a lot of money on a house. We have our house for almost 6 years, feels like we always fixing/updating/remodeling something, lol. Once I am completely done I will post pictures. So far, I love it!

Doreen, Crossfire is a good one. It always feels good to get something organized so it is more convenient. I have to pull out my dvd cases every once in awhile and put some of the workouts out where they are convenient otherwise I tend to do the workouts that are on the shelf which are mainly my newest workouts or the packaged ones in cases and holders.

Belinda, I liked that Chisel workout a lot too. My daughter has been trying to do a project a year on their house. We still have plenty we would like to do.
 
Doreen, how do you like Stepletic. I see they have it on Total Fitness now. I saw she is doing a new one. Also she is going to start doing rebounding workouts on You Tube in June.

Kelly Coffey did another YouTube Coffey Fit Raw workout. It is lower body and kettlebell this time.
 
Diane Sue. I like stepletic. The intermediate one is more athletic. She teaches a petter that you run through several time. It really does get the heart rate up. The advanced one is really tricky footwork so it requires some patience to figure it out.
I hadn't seen that she was doing another one. I like her stuff ao I'll have to check it out.

Today's workout was Amy Bento Ross Advanced Step Challenge 4, 59 minutes, 484 calories, heart rate 134 avg. 167 max. I then did Kelly Coffeys YouTube Raw Lower Body and kettle bell workout 26 minutes, 154 calories. Total time was 85 minutes 638 calories. 6,919 steps.
I liked the raw workout. It is done in 20/10 format
squats 15's, 15's, 20's alternated with halos 20# kettlebell
finishing with non weighted squats

alternating lunge 20's all 3 sets alternating with figure 8's with a 20# kettlebell
non weighted alternating lunge finishing

deadlift 25's all 3 sets alternated with double arm swing 25# kettle bell
finishes with some non weighted squats and moves into some plyometric moves like lunge switches, jump squats to lunges,

reverse lunge 20's all 3 sets alternated with alternating kettlebell swings

goblet squat with a kettlebell 20# alternated with knee up twist with a kettlebell 20#
finisher was similar non weighted moves
brief stretch

Ha, and I had thought I wanted to do some to the mat afterward. I gave up that idea for some reason. I have to run errands anyway and clean house.

Doreen, maybe Amy didn't make a new one. When I went back and looked she shows the cover of steptastic but above she says new workout Simplistic or something like that. It just showed up on my facebook when she was talking about the rebounding youTube workouts.

Belinda, I only have a Z Cut yoga, and a Z cut 6 pack abs. She does some tough workouts. Even the yoga has some plyometrics incorporated in it.
 
Big mistake with the new android phone update. It wiped out the touch whiz that operates the apps again :mad: It is doing the same thing the last phone did with an ATT update. I am fuming right now. I will deal with AT&T from the phone or online and not the store. They were so incompetent.
I just finished doing Sharon Twombly's Athletic Step Jam entire workout with the stability ball portion and abs, 104 minutes, 803 calories. I have always burnt a lot of calories with this one. That was enough for the day. Family dinner tonight and I guess dealing with the phone. GRRR!!

I've been working through the new RIPT 90 FIT on demand. This morning was back and Shoulders. A good workout but short at 22 min. So i added on Metashred 21's 5 min death sets for another 30 min.

Doreen - good job on your back & shoulder workout this morning. I had no idea, those workouts are on demand?

Tomorrow my kids are coming and taking me out for my birthday. I think we having lunch in DC :) My kids will stay until Sunday.
