Just Did GS Legs for First Time! Oh MY!!

OMG - man, I thought I was in decent shape - I just couldn't finish any of the bonus exercises and by the time I got to floor work, the inner and outer thighs with band just killed me. Had some difficulty with roll-ins as well, but I guess with time I'll get that one. I felt like such an idiot and so out of shape - guess I need to build my endurance for this.... but I DO feel GOOD!! I just hope the next go-round is better. Weird, cuz my legs are the strongest part of my body and every single one of Cathe's leg workouts kicks my "butt" and quads and hams, hehehe. I don't know what that's about ... Any suggestions to build endurance for leg workouts - or do I just have to keep doing them (maybe 2x a week) until I build that up?

Thanks, Mary

I can't do one-legged stability ball roll ins on a good day let alone after a weighted leg workout. For such a fun, brightly colored thing, who knew a stability ball could be so evil?! :+

I still have trouble walking because of the pain in my calves from last Thursday from this workout! And I don't even do the floor section.

I can barely walk afterwards and stairs..! My right knee always wants to give out when going downstairs after GSL. B&G does that to me, too.

I have NEVER been able to do one-legged roll-outs. In all this time I've always used two legs. Maybe someday (?).

I'm having issues with going downstairs today after doing GS Legs yesterday. Ah, but it hurts so good.:+ }(

Oh gosh - thank God it wasnt just me! I felt like such an idiot not being able to do one legged roll ins... and the inner thigh thing with the stability ball with the hips raised? I'm hoping to get that one down too!

I tried this workout for the first time on Saturday having chose to do the shorter workout available (too chicken to do the full version). I was disappointed at first because I thought I hadn't worked hard enough or hadn't done it right (I am fairly new to Cathe)
The next day I felt okay but the day after that WHAM! the worst case of Doms I have ever felt in my life!
In fact, it's the mysterious case of travelling Doms as every day something new hurts. My calves hurt so bad that I could barely walk for 3 days and when I could it was on tippy toes only!

At work (I have a really physical job) I always joke that I have "R.P." When I get confused expressions I elaborate: "Roving Pain. Today it's my neck, yesterday it was my feet, tomorrow my elbows..." Regular Cathe workouts give me serious R.P. but not quite like what I get from work.

My quads and glutes were already killing me from GSL when, four days later, I did Butts & Gutts. Then it was my butt cheeks. Tonight I did GSCT and my chest and triceps are still trembling when I try to use them.

I KNOW!!! I did Chest & tris yesterday am and could barely get ready for work afterward.... Ahhhh, someday I'll be able to do those drop set pushups on my TOES!!

I thought working out was supposed to HELP with everyday activities?? Does this not include walking down the stairs and getting ready for work? lol, just a thought..........:+

The other day someone here recommended doing push-ups on the toes while elevating the upper body (i.e. hands on high step, or table... or the wall!). So I tried that. I got through 1-1/2 sets on my toes with my hands on the step (with 5 risers at each end). At first, it seemed more doable and I could feel my core working much harder to stabilize, for the very first time. But then I got too shaky and had to drop to my knees (hands still elevated - and it STILL killed me). But it's progress and that's what matters.
