Is it normal during STS...

Is it normal during STS to feel more tired in general? I generally feel very fatigued the next day. I almost feel achy like you do if you have a fever. I also find it more difficult to muster the energy to do cardio. Am I just a weakling? :)

well, i did the 3 mo. rotation twice and i felt like that alot. it is very intense and difficult. actually, i was not able to do as much cardio as usual. but, i am also 54, so i suppose that could have something to do w/it. not sure. my second time through, it was very hard to finish the rotation.

I got STS for Christmas and am on my first week. I feel the same way. I feel achy and almsot like I have a fever. So your not alone. I'm still moving along but it is defiently somthing new for me.

Are you sure you are getting enough nutrients? Calories? I've not had that problem at all! I am certainly sore the next day, but as long as I'm moving around, it's not too bad and I have no problems getting the rest of my workouts in. I'd do a calorie check! Make sure you're getting enough protein and complex carbs.

I am doing a second rotation of STS, this time 6.5 month and I really feel tired. I am on meso 3 and thinking of doing meso 3 for 1 month only. Meso 3 is my least favorite of all and it creates a dread factor for me. I am just too tired and burnt out. I am trying to fit the cardio 3 times a week if I can.
I did not feel like this when I did the 3 month rotation. I am however seeing more results this time around.

The first time I did Meso 1 when it first came out I felt the same way. I did very little cardio during that cycle. I'm into the third week of it again right now and it's completely different. I'm adding the cardio in on the non STS days. I don't know what the difference is, but I do know exactly what you're feeling.

IMHO

I don't think you should be tired; I am energized by STS. My muscles are sore but not tired. Maybe your not getting enough sleep or enough water or fuel (protein). - Autumn
