Which IMAX is the best? I'm trying to get a couple from each category and already have LowMax.

Thanks
Kim

I like IMAX 3 the best. Did you want tough or semi-tough? IMAX 2 is supposed to be the easiest and I would put IMAX 1 on par with IMAX 3 although with more basic choreography.

If you want the toughest, the original IMAX can't be beat. 2 & 3 are dancier & a little more fun, but IMAX always blows me away.

Imax 3 is the toughest and funnest Imax to me personally. Have fun with whichever you decide to purchase!

Hi Kim,

I find IMAX 3 to be the most fun, but also the easiest - which is probably why it is my favorite!

I have them all and Imax 2 is definitely my favorite!! It's a great choice for the more coreography-challenged (ME!). Imax 3 is a GREAT, intense workout, harder than Imax 2, but so is the coreography. It took me quite awhile to pick up on it all. I have the original Imax but only do it like twice a year b/c the dread factor is just too high. The coreography is much simpler, but so much so that I find it repetetive. Just my two cents, but you can't go wrong with any of them :)

Thanks for the input. I need to get a couple more actually so it will probably be IMAX 2 or 3 and one other. Still can't decide.

IMAX 2 is my favorite, but the original IMAX is, IMO, more intense and the choreography is much simpler (I know, that seems so contradictory!).

So - if you are going for less of a learning curve, IMAX. If you are going for the fun factor - IMAX 2.

I personally find IMAX 3 rather complex and don't do it that often.

My favorites:
Imax2 (fun factor)
Interval Max (the original: straight-forward cardio but very intense)

I didn't like Imax3 enough to keep it, but hope the person who bought it from me is enjoying it a lot!

I'd vote for IMAX or IMAX2. As others have said IMAX is intense and IMAX2 is intense and just plain fun!

I ended up selling IMAX3 on eBay. I thought the choreography was too complex for the intensity level that was trying to be achieved. I also wasn't too keen on the way some of the moves flowed...they felt awkward.

Another vote for Imax or Imax 2.

Imax 2 has a newer feel, but it comes with C&W which I'm not that excited about. Imax, on the other hand, comes with rythmic step - which is fantastic.

Imax 3 has a big dread factor for me. It's very tough, but not that fun. and it's very hard on the joints.

Is the origianl the one called Interval Max?......that I have on my DVD along with Rhythmic Step and Maximum Intensity?

Yes, that's it!

Hey Kathryn,

I don't know whether "enjoy" is the proper term, but I growl my way through it when it cycles around in my imax rotations!!!!:7
