I Need a Hug and a Prayer

Thank you all so much. Your warmth and support, prayers and hugs are so uplifting and very much appreciated. I started crying before I even stopped typing -- it's been building up for weeks and the dam finally burst, and I feel better for it. It's really kind of amazing how a good cry makes you feel lighter somehow.

Becky, I remember you talking about your thyroid cancer. It's encouraging to see how well you've done. My nephew will start radioactive iodine treatments after the holidays. He's only 15 and I feel so sorry for him that he has to go through this. He's a sweet kid and he's been a great sport.

Thanks again you guys. You're a wonderful group and your kindness really touched me when I needed it most.

I am sure your aunt knows how much you love her, don't feel guilty. In fact, I think that your aunt would be very sad to see how much this effects you. Although she is no longer here, I know she will always live on in your heart.

Oh, Michele, sending you the biggest, squeeziest {{{HUGS}}} possible!!! I am so, so sorry that you have had so much to contend with recently. You are such an amazing, giving, caring person, and your aunt knew how much you loved and cared about her. Remind yourself that your relationship with her was created over your lifetimes together, and one missed opportunity doesn't change the special relationship that you had. {{{{{HUGS!!!!!}}}}
