How tall everyone is!

5'8 1/2" . Used to be 5'9", but guess I am shrinking. I used to wish I were shorter. Now I wish I would stop shrinking!

Hi Beverly!! I am 5'6" and happy but I can remember when I was young like in HS I use to wish I were just a little bit shorter but not any more:)
 
I have been 5'4" since like the 6th grade. Although I think my legs were longer then...and now they are short...go figure...:)...Carole
 
This is a nicer version of the infamous peanut threat, I mean thread. I'm 5'8". But I think I'm shrinking! Alexis
 
I'm 5'8". I like it - but every now and then when I'm around a short skinny people I feel huge though!! I have two friends that are 5'.
 
I am 5'11 however, I don't hang around anyone as tall as I am. They detract from the attention I receive. Also, I HATE flat shoes. I always wear some kind of heel. I feel dumpy unless I do.

5 2 and love it. YEars ago.. my grandmother taught me the "good things come in small packages". I love being petite! I find you have to make up for it with a feisty attitude at times ;) to get noticed.

I have noticed most small women I know are full of energy and rather loud! I think we learned years ago we need to do it to get noticed!
 
5'8". Hated being tall at school because it was a couple of years before anyone caught up with me. I like my height now though - tall but not too tall. I wouldn't go out with anyone shorter than me though - probably childhood flashbacks to when I felt too tall!!

Here, here, Robyn! My mother is 5' and the most amazing woman I know and my 4' 11" grandmother could claim the attenion of the brood like no other! Even as a little old lady she would jump up onto the middle of a table and she garnered everyone's attention and and total silence, LOL!
