Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for May 2020

I am getting the highest speed internet. We just have so many devices and laptops along with streaming running. We keep getting drop outs. Although internet has went out a lot lately too. Hopefully this works well though.

Belinda, that was great customer service like it should be when the supervisor called even though he was sick and got your stuff fixed for you. I wish more were like that. I sat here yesterday yelling a credit card companies recorded garbage trying to get where I needed to be. Those things do not understand half what you are trying to tell them. I had to call twice which was even worse. It was all trying to find out why a payment I made a week ago online was not posted as I had the confirmation code. The guy asked if I accidentally pressed cancel. Now why would I have the confirmation code that I had paid if I pushed cancel?
Nice job on getting a good workout in today. Those new phones are way out there in price. My husband was telling me about someone at work that got a new Samsung that folds. I would think that would be something to have problems. Yes, facebook seems to hang onto pictures you have posted even after you take them off of your page.

Debbie, nice workout today. I have always liked Just Step for a quick easy cardio. Nothing complicated. I don't think the seats were 6 foot apart. Maybe 5 foot? they had about 1 foot between seats, but we all sat with one empty between us. On busy days it is normally really packed and I have made later appointments where there were people waiting for a seat. So this was very small compared. I generally make one for near opening time though if at all possible. There was only 3 of us in the waiting room for pharmacy and labs which, like I said moved quickly. I am so sick of everyone pointing fingers and whining about distance and masks. I saw a video of a woman in a Walmart in another state being arrested and drug out because she did not wear a mask. I just wonder how much is pollical and how much is necessary. I also heard one state said no churches could open till next year!! I hope that is not true. That is not right. Now they are after the president because of a valet. Grr!! I hate going out around all of these people that are victims of all of the fear being dragged up. That includes my next door neighbor hood website. Someone complained because a worker in the tag agency did not have a mask and they refused to have them wait on them. I am tired of it!! I hear, you as I could go on and on myself. It makes me feel ill and angry both. Those masks are miserable and every time I put mine on I end up itchy under it. Not sure why. I really want to dig at it. They are uncomfortable. I have seen several workers when I have been out that could not help pulling and moving their masks around. The warmer it gets the more miserable these things are going to be.
My watch shows my total steps on the front screen. If I want to see the steps for the actual workout I have to go to the app on my cell phone under exercise and then impact on my day. That is where I pick up mine.

Doreen, I love that workout. I keep doing it over and over :) Have fun at the mountain biking class.

Jolie, sorry about not getting enough sleep. I was amazed that last night I actually got excellent on my sleep with my Fitbit for the first time ever. I was really tired though. I was fighting falling asleep watching a movie before bed. That really was a stupendous workout for someone who was so tired. I do hate those mornings when I am dragging. I think we are getting pizza for the family members that are coming Sunday. Then some birthday cake and will repeat the next Sunday, but probably not pizza. I will make roast or something.
 
Today was chest/tris

Deciding if I want to go back to my salon we had a zoom meeting and my boss said I would be doing everyone's sanitation!! Because we will be so busy there is no time for me to continue my education right now. I am not happy so I am interviewing with a salon on Monday just to see but I talked with the manager and she said I would be on the floor right away with help and continued education and they have benefits. I love my girls at my Aveda salon but I want to get going!!

Today I just didn't feel like lifting but I didn't just want to walk on my treadmill either, so I settled for Real RAW 3. I know I did this when Kelly first started streaming RAW but I didn't have any workout sheets for the workout. It was fun and I liked the way she had this one set up although I thought it was going to be a circuit type workout because she did a cardio drill after the first weighted exercise. That didn't happen after that, though. Good 80's music in it which made it even more fun!

This was tabata style, 30 seconds on 10 seconds off. I'm just going to write the exercises, but she did things with lower body while doing the exercise. I won't write all that out.

Workout was 45 minutes (really 34 minutes, I wrote down the exercises), burned 297 calories (can't believe that, I'm happy!), and HR was 127/173.

Fun workout! I need to check out her other Real Raw workout but I don't see a Real Raw 2?

I can't believe what this virus has done to all of us. It is unbelievable that this could even happen. I will probably not have a job next school year with cuts to our education and all. I talked to my superintendent yesterday and he was very honest with me in saying that it is quite possible I won't be brought back if we get cut the 25% they are saying. Right now schools are not allowing gatherings so there is no way I can do my events if that is the case come the new school year. But since no one can foresee the future, there might be a chance I can stay on. I am heartbroken. I never ever thought this would affect my job. Say a prayer for me, please. This is the BEST job I have ever had and I am sick over possibly losing it.

Roselyn - I totally understand. I hope you find something else, I'm sure you will. So what does it mean that you will be sanitizing? Did he mean that was the only thing you are going to do when everyone goes back? What about cutting hair, etc.?

Doreen - I also love Box & Tone, it is very fun. That is how all her workouts are - just fun workouts.

Belinda - Great job with Pyramid Upper Body, I haven't done that one in a long time. I should pull those out again. I miss doing them.

Jolie - Nice job with your workout even though you weren't feeling it. You kicked some butt there! No, it is not even warm here yet. Today it's going to be in the 40's with freeze warnings tonight and tomorrow. We've had a couple 60 and 70 degree days but nothing that is ongoing yet. I can't believe it's that hot where you are already! We will be seeing my mom on Mother's Day but probably can't spend time in her house with her. We have all been exposed to the outside world and I don't want to give her something if I am carrying the virus :rolleyes:. This is so damn ridiculous. Getting really po'd about it.

Diane - Great job with your workouts yesterday. I was going to do one of the pyramid workouts on RAW this morning but just didn't have it in me. I almost feel like I need a week off, I'm tired and just want to break. Cool on getting high speed internet, that's what we have but at times it sure doesn't seem like it. I don't think churches will stay closed until next year, they would all go under. Our church is supposed to open on May 29, I'm curious to see what precautions they take. I'll see how things go here in Ohio before I decide if I will be taking my mom or not. When listening to our doom and gloom governor, it seems this will never go away. I agree, I hate wearing a mask and I didn't even think of what it would be like when it gets hot out. I'm tired of all this too, and I get mad when I think of how easy this was to happen. Scary actually. I know I can see the steps I take in a workout by going to the app and looking at the impact screen, I just wish all of the modes you select when you workout would show you the steps when you end the workout. I hate having to go to my app to find this information. Just lazy I guess. LOL!

This morning I did 6 Week Sweat Off - Full body dumbell workout 1 and workout 2. These are on the All Out Studio app with Sean Garner. Great workouts! I loved how he incorporated core work with upper body work in these. And the moves are all controlled so you can use heavy weights - a couple circuits I was picking up heavier dumbells the 2nd or 3rd round. And he is a pleasant trainer - not too many weird catch phrases. The music is just in the background - nothing exciting.

Today and tomorrow will be my rest days for the week. I am not sleeping well and I am exhausted. I need a break and since we will be visiting my parents tomorrow this is the perfect time for a rest.

Debbie, I am so sorry about the budget cuts in your state and you possibly getting laid off. I know how much this job means to you, I will say a prayer for you! I have been laid off 3 very good jobs in my life and it was like going through a death or something. Keeping my fingers crossed for you my friend! Nice workout today:)

Roselyn, I would go with the salon that you have the interview with if you like the establishment and the people. I would think you are ready to get going so the only way to learn is by doing. Having benefits is a real plus too!

Doreen, way to go on the workout. How was your mountain bike class yesterday?

Today I did Raw Cardio Overload 2 wearing a 8# vest this time since Kelly wears a 6 and I have been doing it with a 4# vest. I had a great workout, but my Fitbit lost my heart rate at one point and went off the charts for a bit, 38 minutes because I jotted some notes this time, heart rate 137/209, 1,901 steps. I then did Cathe Fit Split Low Impact timesaver, 27 minutes, 122 calories, heart rate 120/153, 1901 steps. I finished with Fit BIt Barre 3 Total Body Reset which was sort of yoga, barre, mobility and stretch combo, 10 minutes, heart rate 104/127, 206 steps. Total time was 75 minutes, 375 calories, 5,067 steps.
It really cooled off and poured rain last night. The Sun is coming out though. I am supposed to get our high speed internet gear from UPS today so sure I will be busy setting it up. Hoping for no complications. I had to call my credit card company again today since they did afterall have both payments go through. I have to wait 3 to 8 days to get my refund. It took forever on the phone for that.

Roselyn, I don't blame you for wanting to get right into the work and training. Cleaning up does not sound enjoyable.

Debbie, I think Real Raw 2 is in Cardio as it is the only higher impact hiit workout that I have done from Kelly. They do it in a gym. Kelly does modify near the end. Not Cathe high impact hiit, but a lot higher impact for Kelly. The other real Raw is a really good one too. I can post the run down for you so you have an idea. IT is all weights and a lot of 1 side at a time work. She incorporates a kettlebell and there is some intervals of boxing and kettlebell swings part way into it. It is one of my favorites and great music. I will be praying for you and your job. That is so sad that they would even think of something like that. It was over 80 when I went to Walmart market the other day and I left my mask in my car. Way too hot. That made me think about summer and running around with that thing on. I had purchased it in the past for allergies and yard work and quit using it because of the misery. Not sure it helped anyway.
I don't know that it was such a good idea to give some of these power enjoying mean spririted governors control over that much decision making. I would like to be able to see my steps on the screen of the watch just to see how I can improve and what improves that feature.

Doreen, nice work. It seems that you are having fun with all of these streaming services. Lots of variety :)

Diane - I do remember the cardio Real Raw now that you describe it, I have never tried it and probably won't. But if you have the workout sheet for Real Raw 2 and can copy/paste it here easily, please do. I might do that one next week. Sounds like fun! Thanks!
 
This week has been rough. Sorry if I am not very chatty lately or miss personals.

Diane - I didn't see your post this morning. No you don't see customer service like this anymore. He really made this experience a pleasant one. If they sent me a customer review I would praise him very highly. Great guy. I'll be honest, I was going to get a new phone. I was so fed up with my phone situation. I don't know much about Samsung phones. I always had iPhones. I don't even know the difference in those to phones? So far, I am very happy with Apple products. I used to get a viruses on my old PC's. Never had a problem with a virus on any of my Apple products. I have Apple for years. Maybe I been lucky, lol. Your workouts look great.

Roselyn - I agree with Julie. It will be a different kinda work environment. I am afraid to see my Ortho with this virus hanging around.

Doreen - can you share the link please. Sounds like a great workout. I need a good workout, not something that kills me.

Debbie, here is the Real Raw workout I sub dumbbells on bicep curls as I don't like them with a K-Bell. As always you can use dumbbells instead of K-Bells.

REAL RAW COFFEY FIT-41(36 minutes) minutes. Kelly warms up with ropes and non weighted squats. I just did my own moves and breaks with the squats to warm up. she uses 12.5# and 5# dbs, a 15,20,and 30# kettlebell along with a bench. Great music!

Belinda, I had apple product for a long time. I guess my experience was not so wonderful. Maybe some of it was me and not understanding the latest technology. I still don't know where some of my purchased movies, books and music went to on itunes. The cell phones seemed to be needed replaced before or right after they were paid off, I had to set appointments and stand in line at the Apple store for repairs which usually resulted in them selling me something. They are not so user friendly with anything, but their own apple products. I have been happy with my Samsung products other than the sd card incident. I have AT&T security on my cell phone and I have antivirus I keep on my tablet. I have never had a problem with that. I know lots of people love their Apple products. I do have two very old Apple Tablets that still work. I just can't update them anymore because they are too old to run newer programs. 2/3 of my family has iphones and now apple watches. My son and his family use Samsung.

I have been setting up our new highspeed internet. It always is rather a pain to have to put in the new network info on printers, devices, roku, fire tv and channels. It sure does move fast though.
 
Diane - sorry your experience with Apple wasn't that great. I honestly, never signed into iTunes until my Bday, lol. I really have no idea how iTunes works, I just don't use it. I learned everything was backed up in iTunes as well as iCloud. My son thinks my iPhone its outdated, lol. I only had my phone less than a year. Technology involves quickly. My son keeps up in that. I for one, as long as it works why change it? I don't have a Tablets, I have an old Kindle. Haven't used it in years.My son got me started on Apple products. His computer is a different brand now. He and his wife own an Apple watch. They bought an Apple watch for me and DH for xmas i think in 20019? I had a Fitbit before. I love my apple watch. I have security on my computer through my work. We have high speed internet. I couldn't take working out online and everything stopes/freezes. We also have a few routers. So far, so good. I live in the country.

Yesterday it rained all day, it didn't stop me from walking outside, lol. I walked for 2 miles.

I went for a walk outside this morning. Boy it's cold outside. Walked for an hour.

I will do a weight workout later. Need to get warm first.

This morning I did the 6 Week Sweat Off Full Body bodyweight workout. Each round you add a new exercise. This was a good workout working upper and lower body but probably not my favorite thought it had some good mobility style moves.

I also did CL # 36 BB UB. I really like this one. Very high reps. Great workout.

This morning I did Lite cardio party, 42 minutes, 202 calories,heart rate 117/149, 4,055 steps. I then did Kelly Coffey Cardio Quick Fix workout #1, 25 minutes, 125 calories, heart rate 120/160, 2,631 steps. I finished with Step Boss extended Chair Stretch, 16 minutes, 14 calories, heart rate 71/109, 16 steps and Jessica Smith Gentle Yoga neck and shoulders, 18 minutes, 17 calories, 20 steps. Total time was 1 hour 40 minutes, 6,722 steps, 358 calories. Can't believe 34 minutes of yoga comes out to 31 calories :rolleyes: It is relaxed yoga though.
 
Happy Mothers Day everyone! Today I walked on my TM for 30 minutes, 7.0 incline, 3.3 speed and traveled 1.7 miles. I burned 301 calories. Then I tried the new CL workout #296 Touch Up Training Upper Body and had a great workout. This is a very basic workout, never repeating an exercise and using the ball. I liked it because it was slow paced and high reps. My upper body is pumped!!! Total calorie burn for both workouts was 609 calories. This workout is good if you are on the tired side like I am and you dong want fast and heavy.

Belinda, I noticed the Polar Vortex you are having on the East Coast right now! Today is supposed to be warmer, maybe no snow or hail! Nice workout the last two days, keep it up.

Yesterday i had a great time with my parents, we had a BBQ and sat outside all day and played Corn Hole. The weather was fantastic but today is cooler. My boys are taking my car to get it washed for my Mothers Day gift and they are going to get me a new Fitbit too.

I hope you all have a great time with your families. BBL to read your posts. You all killed the workouts the last few days.
