Today I did a tough workout, P90X Chest and Back. Wow, this is non-stop and it really is a no nonsense workout. Chest is ALL pushups, I did Chest exercises with DB's instead, and it darn near killed me in a good way. Workout was 55 minutes and I burned 358 calories. I could go heavier on a few exercises next time, my rep range got really too high for some exercises. This is a push pull chest and back circuit, 2 times round.
Chest Press- 20's x 20, x 16 reps
Wide Grip Pull Downs- 50# x 26, x 21
Chest Press- 20's x 17, x 16
Reverse Grip Chin Ups, pull downs instead- 50# x 18, x 17
Chest Flys- 15's x 16, x 15
Close Grip Pull Downs- 50# x 21, x 17
Incline Chest Press- 20's x 17, x 15
1 Arm Rows- 20# x 18, x 16
Close Grip Chest Press- 15's x 21, x 20
Lawn Mowers- 20# x 15, x 16
Chest Flys- 15's x 15, x 15
1 Arm Horz. Rows- 15# x 20, x 19
Wow, it feels so good to lift like this again. I will NOT go heavy, I do not want any type of pull or injury going forward. High reps is where I am at now days. I know I will be sore tomorrow.
