This morning I did such a fun workout, two actually. The first one was KCM CardioFit Workout #2 which was a Hi/Lo w/dumbbells workout. It alternated between a hi/lo mix of fun floor work and some boxing and then she did some dumbbell work doing compound exercises. I only used 5's because I wanted it to be more of a cardio workout. Very fun workout and I do think I've done it once before. I followed Jane as she did the low impact version of each cardio segment.

Then I did RAW Boxing Finisher that was 15 minutes and used my 1# sand weights. Really worked up a good sweat with these two workouts.

Workout total was 47 minutes, burned 434 calories (holy cow!), did 3743 steps and HR was 142/179. My steps were the same as Wednesday's workout. LOL! How does that even happen?

Belinda - I previewed a few of the Iron workouts, they look good. I might have to try a couple. Nice going with your workout!

Jolie - I've also heard about doctors telling people they shouldn't be getting the boosters. Scary. So glad I haven't had the vaccine. I worry about my brother because he is 54, will be 55 in June and he had both shots and a booster, my mom too. I hear this booster is what is causing problems. Hey, how did that asshole Gavin Newsome keep his governor position if all of you voted him out? I thought he was gone and then I heard on the TV that he is still governor. What happened? Unbelievable.

Diane - Awww, that is so awesome that you connected with your brother. Time is so short, we just don't know when we will not be here anymore. I talk to my brother almost every day and luckily he lives close to me. Same with my husband's other brother. I'm glad to hear you called him. I can go to my PT without a doctor's order, I just thought maybe I should get an x-ray first. I really don't want to get an MRI but I guess if I have to I will. I may see what the x-rays show and then go to my PT for a while to see if she can get this pain to stop. We'll see what the x-rays say. I'm glad you like your PT guy, I feel the same way about mine.

Doreen, Roxie, Cam & Roselyn - good job with your workouts!!

Have a great day and weekend. So glad it's Friday!!

Today I had an awesome workout, I did P90X Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. Workout with the stretch was 58 minutes and I burned 364 calories. This workout is all pushups for Chest, so I did Chest Presses or Chest Flys instead, different rep counts and different speeds, I followed Tony on the pushups but did presses instead. It worked out well for me, my chest is fried.

Chest Press- Slow 3/3 count- 20's x 16
Chest Press Fast Max Reps- 15's x 22

This was such a great workout, I loved the slow pace and all of the different exercises, it is not boring at all. Another hot day today, 88 degrees and then it cools off tomorrow. I love this weather, I have all of my doors and windows open, and the ocean breeze is amazing.

Debbie, great job on the two workouts today. The calorie burns are finally where they should be, your FitBit was not working correctly for you. Gavin got re elected because this is a total blue state and most Republicans live in my area and our County is Red for sure. The rest of the state is Blue and a bunch of idiots! All of the Tech Companies ect. I sure bet they love the gas prices in San Fransico, $9 per gallon right now. Oh, and do not get me started on the homeless situation. I would not be surprised if this state flips one day, people are just sick of it. Also, the recall was so close it could have gone either way.

Diane Sue, way to go catching up with your brother! Time goes by quickly, we need to make the most of our time with the people we love even over the phone.

Roselyn, I have not heard of that instructor before, great job!

Cam, I hope you got in a great workout yesterday.

BBL to read the other posts for the day. Happy Friday!

This morning I did CDorner Arms & Cardio. It was an awesome 50 min. I got a good arm burn and the 5 min. of cardio in between sets was fun hi/low instead of drills. A nice change of pace. She was a little too goofy though.

Jolie, now its open border mania with the left. I had to turn off Clay & Buck because I was getting so mad. I feel for your state. It's ridiculous.

Good workouts everyone! I have company coming soon and staying this weekend. Got to get to the store.

Have a good weekend.

Hi everyone,

I did Iron series TB today. I was going to do a SBF workout, I ran out of time. I did managed to walk today.

Debbie - I think you would like Caroline's new series. Straight up, slow/controlled heavier lifting. I also like the 30 min format.

Diane - glad you connected with your brother. Great job on your workout.

Great job everyone on your workouts.

Good night.

Today it is 20 degrees cooler, so I went out for a long walk, and it was so beautiful! Walk was 1 hour 40 minutes through the hills and I traveled 5 miles and burned 798 calories. I will be feeling this walk in my calves tomorrow.

Cam, have fun with your company this weekend!

I hope you all have great workouts this weekend or whatever you have planned for yourselves. Make it a great day.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Cardio Fit Warm up from her Bonus Raw step box, then the premix Hi/Lo cardio 28 minutes, 103 calories, heart rate 108/143. O then did a CDorner that I had saved doing another Kelly warm up and then her 30 minutes, Inner Thighs and Abs which uses a Pilates ball for most and a dumbbell (she uses 15#) for squats and side to side lunges only. I used a 5# and held it low instead of cupped at my chest. Time spent was 40 minutes, 108 calories, heart rate 97/134. I did not want to pick up more weight than I am at PT yet. Both are good workouts. Total time was 68 minutes, calories burned 211, 2,845 steps.
My shoulder is sore from the body blade. I can't get it to move much as I move it. It would take awhile to get that strength to get the ends to sort of bounce. I keep going back and looking at the Pro one which looks like the one the PT has and looking at the exercises. I guess you have free access to usage videos online. It was designed by a physical therapist. I think I might like to have one. I put it in my list to think about. I see a lot of knock offs on Amazon.

Roxie, nice workout. Enjoy your grandson time.

Debbie, I am glad that I purchased the Cardio Fit dvd. The premixes are good. I do wish that they had just the lower weight work as a premix though. I looked at the strength work mix and it alternates upper moves with lower. There are some moves there that look like I will have to wait quite awhile to do or substitute. Like the gunslinger with a dumbbell and overhead press and body shots. I guess the kickboxing one has the lower body strength. Before all of the covid and things going on, my brother and I talked a lot more and always long chats. It sounded very tired and he weighs hardly anything. I worry about him. I have kept up with my brother in Florida more as we text back and forth. The brother in NE has an older flip phone that is not a smart phone. Hopefully the X-Rays are all that you will need and you can get the help you need without the mri. You are burning some major calories.

Jolie, great workout with P90X yesterday. Nice that you had good weather for a walk today. Awesome calorie burn. We have moved up to the 80's now. I have been so cold all of the time, it was nice to wake up and not run for a light jacket. Although I have been cold even in the low 70's and my husband cannot believe I am that cold. I cannot think of anything Gavin did that would make someone want to vote for him. I don't get it at all.

Cam, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the cardio and arm workout. I am generally not a fan of drills. Enjoy your company this weekend.

Belinda, nice work with the Iron workout and getting a walk in yesterday and the circuit barre workout today.

Yesterday I did Heather Robertson Lower Body Strength Trisets. Great workout!

Today I did Michelle Dozois Fit 360 Energize. I like her 360 dvds. Pretty tired today so that was the most intense workout that I felt like doing.

My Brother & SIL were in from AZ. We had a great time. We all get along great and hated to see them go, but they will be back mid week before they return home. They come a few times a year so they will be here in the summer and early Fall. They spend time with my mom and run errands for her, which gives me a break.

Diane, good workout. It's fun doing different things to challenge us.

Jolie & Belinda, good workouts this weekend.

Today I opted for an uphill walk on my TM, 1 hour in time, traveled 3.3 miles on incline 4.5 to 6.0 and burned 539 calories. I was supposed to do P90X but my dvd player would not read my dvd, so frustrating, I will do it tomorrow after my son has a look at the darn thing tonight.

Debbie, great job on the workout today, I love 80's music too! I am a huge fan of 1970's music too, I do not like the music out today.

Cam, nice job on the two workouts! Also, I am so glad you had a great visit with your brother and sister-in-law. I do a lot for my parents too; my sister only shows up when it suits her and that is not very much.

Way to go on the workouts over the weekend, we are killing it! There was a light rain this morning, it was hard to get motivated to start my workout, I hate days like this. I am a fair-weather girl for sure LOL!

No workout. I may still do something short when my husband goes to work. I want to get to bed early as the next two morning I have to be up and out of the house early. Tomorrow is ladies game day and Wednesday is my appointment with my surgeon. We will see how it goes. My PT says I have done well and he thinks I am pretty much as far as I can go there. Otherwise it is just time and care to finish getting all of my strength back. It is like going from nothing to back to normal. I told him I read that even at 6 months you are generally 50%. He says what the surgeon said, and that is about a year for full recovery. I told my PT I was interested in maybe getting the Body Blade. He said he had one client that hated it so much because how hard it is and told her family. They all got together and gave her one for her birthday as a joke.

This morning I did KCM Cardio Fit Workout #2 again, love that workout. It is a knee-friendly workout and even though there are some high intensity moves, Jane does the low impact moves and I just follow her. My knee is doing better, I can't help but wonder if that new Marine Collagen I purchased and have been using is working? If so, then I do have a cartilage issue.

Anyways, this workout does two 45 second cardio segments and then a 45 second compound move with light dumbbells. I used 5# dumbbells. The compound moves are really fun and different, not the same old squat presses and things like that. I love this workout.

Workout was 30 minutes, burned 239 calories, did 2165 steps and HR was 130/173. I stretched quite a bit afterwards since I had extra time.

I am preparing for a training on homelessness I have to do at 10 so I don't have time for personals. I'll catch up with you all probably on Thursday because tomorrow I have an all day training I am heading. After tomorrow, I am good and will be on spring break as of Friday! Woo hoo!!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Today I did a tough workout, P90X Chest and Back. Wow, this is non-stop and it really is a no nonsense workout. Chest is ALL pushups, I did Chest exercises with DB's instead, and it darn near killed me in a good way. Workout was 55 minutes and I burned 358 calories. I could go heavier on a few exercises next time, my rep range got really too high for some exercises. This is a push pull chest and back circuit, 2 times round.

Chest Press- 20's x 20, x 16 reps
Wide Grip Pull Downs- 50# x 26, x 21
Chest Press- 20's x 17, x 16
Reverse Grip Chin Ups, pull downs instead- 50# x 18, x 17
Chest Flys- 15's x 16, x 15
Close Grip Pull Downs- 50# x 21, x 17
Incline Chest Press- 20's x 17, x 15
1 Arm Rows- 20# x 18, x 16
Close Grip Chest Press- 15's x 21, x 20
Lawn Mowers- 20# x 15, x 16
Chest Flys- 15's x 15, x 15
1 Arm Horz. Rows- 15# x 20, x 19

Wow, it feels so good to lift like this again. I will NOT go heavy, I do not want any type of pull or injury going forward. High reps is where I am at now days. I know I will be sore tomorrow.

Debbie, great job with the workout and I am happy to hear that your knee is doing better. I hurt mine yesterday tripping over the corner of a rug!

Roselyn, great job on the Iron workout yesterday.

Doreen, I played volleyball in high school and loved it!

Belinda, nice job on the workout!

Diane Sue, I am anxious to hear what your surgeon says on Wed. Great job on the PT and your strength will be back soon.

Make it a great day.
