Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 11/18

Oh, and mine would not be finding any sort of meal in the fridge...you are a better woman than me!

DITTO! I say, "Fend for yourself bucko!"

Char- Like Teddy says, I bet he comes home and apologizes (course you won't be there.;)). He's PMSing or something.

He has decided to go on Atkins (I know..ya'll don't have to tell me)
The lack of carbs is probably getting to him. He has a short fuse anyways, but the strange thing is that most of the years we have been married, he takes it out on others..usually not me much. I am surprised he made such a big deal out of being invited to dinner, but must be lack of carbs....he is pretty much a comfort eater. When I get mad, I stay that way until he apologizes. I will never apologize over something I didn't do. I threw in some extra potatoes in the stew cuz it seems like he needs them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Dallys - Glad your workout went so well. That's awesome! It's in the upper 70's here today but super windy. Can't have everything. My workouts are taking about 2 hours when I do cardio too. I get up at 4:50am. I'm trying to cut down my cardio days to maybe 4 though. I don't want to burn out and it seems like that's how it's been working out lately. If I can keep my eating clean enough that shouldn't be a problem.

Amber - I'm really sorry about your MIL. I will keep you all in my prayers. :(

Toasty Chick - My husband is funny about doing things during the week too. We were supposed to go to dinner last night but then he decides that he doesn't want to go b/c he gets off work at 5 and I work until 5:30 since I come in late since I workout in the am and HE gets an hour during work time to work out and has a gym in the building (and he works 4/10's and goes in at 7am). So he said he didn't want to wait around until I got off work and then go eat and get home at 6:30 or 7 and then the whole night is shot. We've been doing this forever and HE just decides we're through. I was really angry! I get really bored staying home all the time and he knows that is an issue with me. He called and we're going tonight. :) But I didn't totally go off on him. I'm sorry your husband did that. I think you're right - he needs CARBS!!! Be careful on your run, okay?

Teddygirl - Thanks! :)

Shana - Way to forge ahead! I guess we need these little reminders, huh?

Ended up taking Carma for a walk instead of going on bike. I needed to explore a new walk-way that has just finished it's section in my town. I'll have to take my bike on it next time. It goes right in front of peoples drive-ways at one point (how annoying would THAT be?). A guy that lives on that road told me that Parvo is being spread in his neighborhood from all the dogs walking the path. I came home and dipped Carma's feet in bleach. Her due date for shots is coming up, so I'll have to get that done this week. Once this walk-way is completely finished, it might end up being quite nice.

Char- Yes, it's the way he speaketh that is the bad part, not really that he doesn't want to go to dinner. I can get kinda weird at doing things on weekdays/Sundays too. Mornings just come so soon. He always invites his mom over on Sunday nights and she NEVER leaves early! I hate that. I tell him, " Fridays or Saturdays Babe, invite her on Friday or Saturdays, so we can sleep in."

Suz- that's about what I figured time-wise for your workouts. If I could just even get in an extra 1/2 hr. for stretching or extra cardio here and there, I'dl be happy. I might have to cut out my sacred coffee time!

Thought I would check and see what is going on. I still feel weak and today had a terrible headache. I am back to taking the grandchildren to and from school. We have a birthday party Friday for my son in law. My eating has been terrible because what I normally eat makes me want to gag. Finally got to the grocery store and got some fresh fruits and veggies and picked up some chicken. I have overloaded on sodium so much with take out and soups. Feel fat and sort of down. Went shopping on the internet and bought Kettlebell Goddess. Went to Academy Sports and bought some kettlebells. They were lower priced than at Target. Now I really need to get back on top of things so I can use them.

Suz, I was just so busy yesterday and today with my grandbaby who is teething and crabby along with getting into everything and just didn't feel like posting. I am still read everyones posts. BTW I did some research on black on sweet potatoes :) It is recommended to keep the cooking time as short as possible so cut them in small pieces. Other ideas is don't refrigerate them(it takes longer to cook them and increases the sugars in them). Don't wash them if you are going to peel them or put them in water ahead of time . Also it is best to not cook them in a metal pan. Those eyes or sprouts on potatoes and sweet potatoes contain toxins and should be gotten rid of:0 Probably more than you wanted to know LOL

Charlotte, LOL on putting potatoes in his stew. Yeah that could alter the mood. Wouldn't want to mess with you when you're angry:)

Amber, I bought a 15,20,and 25# Kettlebell. Took home a 25# from Academy and tried the clean and press then went back and got the others because from how fast I have seen some of those videos move I thought 25# was a lot. Might have felt extra heavy too because I am feeling weak anyway though. I think I will start with the 15# one though. Academy was 34.99 for the GoFit 15# kettlebell. I am so sorry about your mil. Sometimes it is hard to understand why things work out the way that they do.

Great workouts everyone! I think I am going to skip mine today. Have PTC meeting tonight and I am pooped. I only work half a day tomorrow so I will work extra hard! But who knows I may get home and change my mind. Amazing how the further you get away from work the more energy you get:)

Char...I hear what you are saying about "how" he talk to you. I swear sometimes my DH can't talk in a regular tone. I don't get confrontational (takes up too much energy) but I remember reminding him one time that "I was not one of his officers!" But I think you nailed it....he is cranky cuz he needs carbs! I wouldn't want to run into you in the dark...hee, hee.. Be safe! BTW...started listening to cd's....very enlightening. Also, I am still learning....what is MM abs?

Suz...dontcha just love when hubby's make decisions for the both of ya! At least he's taking you to dinner tonight:) 2 hour workouts....you never cease to amaze me!

Amber...you're in my prayers.

Diane Sue- Isn't it weird how just a few days of eating no-so-good food can make us feel fat and down? When in reality, a few days can't really do much harm.;) I'm excited to hear how you like the KB's too. You and Amber are our guinea pigs:). I know Lora tried them, but I can't remember what she thought. What I don't understand it why are they so darned expensive!! It's nuts.

Sonya- Sounds like you got the meditation Cd's too. What are these cd's you all speaketh of? Oh, and I think it's probably Muscle Max abs.

Hahahahaha! Ya'll are gonna laugh. Dh comes home pouty looking. I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh (at this point, I am not mad anymore, but still licking my wounds..sorta). So I am stirring his stew for him. He proceeded to speaketh to me and end up apologizing, after he ate a good amount of potatoes. Food always, with carbs, cannot keep a grumpy man down. hehe. Well my workout day was screwed to pieces...I did the leave the house and shopped around the grocery store for a bit, but it was so damn cold that I said to heck with it and came home. Maybe it was that song while standing in the deli line...something about, you don't know what you have til it is gone..made me melt like butter and I brought my tail back home.

Sonya,

Glad you are liking the cd.

Bionics,

The cd is a meditation cd of eliminating people from your life that suck your energy from you because they rely on you, bonded to you for something or some reason.

Meowracer,

Hahaha! Your a good woman though. Really didn't feel like making dinner either, but I knew if I didn't there would be more confrontation, and I cannot stand confrontation, and besides, it really was the carbs he needed.

Hope you feel better tomorrow. Hate that you are sick. I know how much you like to stay away from high sodium foods and they do say chicken broth from real chicken is good for you, but not the kind they tried to give my husband in the hospital..packaged flavored salt.

Thanks! Right now, there is no one in my life I want to eliminate. I'm already a professional eliminator. No one sucks my energy for long, my energy is mine.:)

You go, girl! Claim it and destroy! Now you know that if someone comes along and is needy and pathetic, you might feel alittle sorry for them and bring them some cocoa or something. lol. It is just when they want ALL your cocoa you got to give them the boot, eh? See, I have a problem with boundaries. If you know the boundaries, then your good, if you don't, then you may get screwed.

Diane Sue - Good to hear from you. I was worried that you might not be feeling very well. I'm glad you are recovering. Thanks for the info on the sweet potatoes. Even though the black doesn't seem to affect the taste it just doesn't look right, you know? I know what you mean about being off with the eating and not getting to exercise. I think that the sodium really messes up your body too - really bloats you. Hopefully lots of water and getting back to your healthy eating will get you back to normal quickly.

Sonya - Funny...I've had to remind my DH at times that I'm not one of his officers. That made me laugh when you said that b/c we've been there more than once. ;)

Char -

I'm thinking you have a problem with chocolate!!!! :p People just don't know the boundaries where you and chocolate are concerned!

grrrrr! thanks to my cat, my post is gone. So, here's the short version.

workout.....the rock wall at school. Made it up four times, twice on #1 (the easiest of four) and twice on number #2, the second easiest. THe wall is also taller than I realized, apparently 40, 45 feet instead of 35. Frickin not easy!
