Growing Belly's Check in Week of June 7th

Allison-Im sure you look great. We ALL think that aobut ourselves...but hey, we have a good excuse these days!!

Jen-Sorry for your aches!! For a couple weeks my aches have been under control. Im sure they will return. We want pictures of your belly!! I try to eat clean, but you should of seen me in Florida. I had at least 2 desserts daily and lots of goooood food. I have lost 2 pounds of bloast since being back though. If I can keep away from baking Im good. And I LOVE To bake!!!

Me, too! I gained weight through my thighs, hips, and butt (and I've been trying to modify Butts and Guts and keep that going). I was told if you gain weight all over (and especially in the backside), then it will be a girl. If it's all belly, a boy. Amazing how everyone has their own theories and loves to share them--whether you want all the theories or not. :)

At 23 weeks or so, boom, I had a belly. There was no more question. What I don't like though is during work conversations when you're talking to someone and their eyes keep flitting to your belly, like all of a sudden they realized you're pregnant. Like they never worked with a pregnant woman before.

Wendy, I haven't pooped yet this morning,....but I maybe feeling one coming on. I'll let you know, as things progress. ;) LOL

Thanks for the kind comments about the belly. I"m sure the horizontal stripes make me look bigger,...and with a 5th pregnancy things pop out quicker,...and the two in there. I can see my face is already getting rounder. It always appears that I'm all belly until AFTER I have the baby and I can pinch my hips and thighs and such. You know how that goes.

I have one more day off, then work Fri & Sat. I've felt really good last two days (except for vomiting Tombstone yesterday AM). I may need to consider picking up an additional shift---at least one more a month so I can stay on top of my bills! My health insurance isn't very good. :(

Dawn, haven't had anyone stare at my belly yet. At work I work a white lab coat, so it pretty much hides everything.

Precilla, do you were a lab coat?

Just got done with Push Pull. I think that will be my weight workout mostly for the remainder of my pregnancy..its easy peasy and I don't feel like Im gonna pass out..but still gives the muscle a little work.

Im off to shower and hang out with Haley! BBl
 
My co-worker came in with her brand new baby boy (3 weeks) and I couldn't stop crying at first. I kept imagining holding my little one (which by the way I think is a boy) and would well up! He is so precious! Now I'm excited and impatient!

Susan- I will post my 18 week one. Be aware, I do them with the shirt lifted so I don't want to scare anyone. :)
 
Here is my belly at 18 weeks....I took it about 3 days ago but I feel like I have popped more since!

Jen-Cute bump!!!! You'll feel bigger just about daily now. I know I do. We could actually see her move last night..was cool for Haley to see.
 
Beautiful bump, Jen!! Mine is marked with stretch marks from past pregnancies,....so I am NOT lifting up my shirt. LOL

Got some news!! I POOPED AGAIN! Real nice; long & sleek. I think I found another love,.....Miralax!!!!!! =)


PS One of my dear friends had her baby on Tuesday. I saw her via webcam & also cried. I'm not sure why. It's still all so unreal to me. I'm not sure if it were tears of happiness, envy, saddness, or a combination of all? This is the first "newborn" I've allowed myself to "see" since after my miscarriage. My emotions can be so overwhelming at times! LOL

Susan- I do feel like I grow daily. Aww... I can't wait to see movements! How many weeks are you again?

Melanie- I know for me, the tears were because I will be having one of those (babies) in about 5 months and I think I am so just excited/happy. But I get the other emotions too. ;)
 
Jen, your belly is so cute, I think that mine is about that size too. It's more noticeable when I wear stretchy tops. I was wondering if you can get one of those professional prenatal massages. I've heard that they are very good to ease up the pain associated with pregnancy.

Melanie, I have 2 coats but barely use them. My assistant is doing great, she went to her DR on monday and one baby is slightly bigger than the other, the Dr told her that even though is too early, it seems like it's gonna be a boy and a girl. She is so excited, she is 9 1/2 weeks and she's definately showing more than me at 14 weeks. This is her fifth pregnancy though.

Dawn, I'm the same way. I gain weight pretty much on my lower body, my upper body is a lot leaner.

Susan, I may have to try those pancakes. I'm tired of the same O cereal or oatmeal

Precilla, I didn't know your assistant was expecting twins? How far along is she? I prefer not to wear a lab coat, but my employer would rather I would. That's what happens when one becomes "coorporate".

Hope everyone slept well! After saying I wasnt aching much I woke up at 2 with that darn hip pain..grrrr. I don't know if its sciatica or my piriformis syndrome....but it sure is a pain in the butt!!
VBS is over...I must say if I hear one of those songs again I would scream! One in particular plays in my head over and over..drives me nuts. I do not belong to this church...I was helping out a friend. We are going to Mississippi for a week in July for vbs at my home church.
Today will be errands and grocery shopping. Workout will be a walk. I ordered my elliptical and cannot wait til I get it!!!!

Gotta get my morning started...I will need a power nap today! bbiab

Today I woke up with a terrible headache, don't even know where it came from.

Melanie, my assistant is 9 1/2 weeks pregnant. She is having fraternal twins and last monday her dr ventured to guess the babie's gender and he said that it seems to be a girl and a boy. She's showing big time, I'm impressed

Susan, I have pain in my butt too, mainly on the left side. If I just stand on my right leg and lean forward, it kills me. I massage along the sciatic nerve and seems to help but it's been constant for the last weeks

Any fun plans for the weekend?

We plan on taking the jetskis out to the lake tomorrow and hopefully lounge in MIL's pool on Sunday. It will be a nice relaxing weekend and I don't care if I clean or get laundry done for once!

Susan- Hope you hip pain is better. I am having some pain in the right side of my back which has run all the way up into my neck and is giving me an awful headache on the right side of my head. Will be taking Tylenol if it doesn't go away soon.

Priscilla- I hope your head feels better. I haven't had many headaches with this pregnancy unless my upper back/neck are tight.

Hi mamas-to-be!! I was wondering if any of you are due in October?? I was just packing up Charlie's infant clothes to donate to charity, and I ran across a few ADORABLE Halloween things that he wore right after he was born (Oct. 2), and I thought I'd see if any of you wanted them. They could be for a boy or girl. Just thought I'd ask.. If you're due around them, send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll send them to you.

Your so sweet, Stephanie!!!! I always wanted to make a "Thing One & Thing Two" outfit for my boys,....maybe someday for the twins.

Yesterday was an icky day for me. It was slow in the pharmacy, which was good b/c I spent the later part vomiting. :( I barely made it home,...then went straight to bed for a 10 hour outing. This AM I'm feeling weak & scared to eat. *sigh* The twins need food, so I will try an egg sammy.

I'm looking forward to having tomorrow off. I have a busy week next week. My ob/gyn appt is on Monday, FINALLY. On Friday I am taking my ex-employeer to small claims court. Each of those appointments are about 2 hours away. Combined with my work schedule,...I'm going to be beat. Hopefully there will be smooth pooping & no puking next week!!!!!

Just a quick hey! Lazy day today so for. Dh is burning stuff outside, dd is painting, and Im doing laundry. Not sure whats on tap for the rest of the day.
